< FIELD >

Lisa and Jimin sat amongst the other students in the filed bench while they watch Yoongi get ready for the three legged race.

"Why is Yoongi the only one with out a partner?" Jimin asked

"That's because he's waiting for Namjoon " Lisa replied.

"Did Namjoon pick him?" Jimin asked again.

"He didn't directly but you know how much of a flirt he is, he already brought his hopes up that am sure he won't want to do the three legged race with any one else but him" Lisa replied and just then Namjoon joined the participant but he wasn't alone cause he had a boy from their team with him.

"Who is he?" Jimin asked.

"The guy Namjoon is currently dating" Lisa replied sighing out slowly.

"If you knew about him dating some one else, you could have prevented this" Jimin said to Lisa.

"I just found out this morning and I didn't want to shatter his hopes by being the one who tells him about it, he needs to see it himself to believe" Lisa replied while Jimin nodded sadly.

"But Namjoon is a jerk!"

"Not Namjoon alone, Hoseok, Taehyung and Jackson are all jerks!" Lisa muttered in anger.

"We better go meet him" Jimin added when they saw Yoongi heading to the rest room.

They found him crying his eyes out in one of the cubicle.

After much persuasion, he finally came out moving to the tap to wash his face.

"You shouldn't let Namjoon get you down" Jimin said tapping his back gently.

"But it hurts. I thought he's begining to fancy me but then he already has a boyfriend and he turns out to be one of the junior students" Yoongi replied wiping the remnant of tears on his face.

"Namjoon is a playboy, he won't ever be serious with anyone. You should have put that in mind before falling for him" Lisa admonish.

"If I had control over my heart then I wouldn't be in love with him. You can't tell your heart who to love Lisa" he said holding back his tears.

"It's okay. You should try to cheer up, don't let him see how much you hurt" Jimin told him still patting his back.

Just then they heard the intercom buzz on the next race taking up.

"I think they are calling for me" Lisa replied and Yoongi wipe his eyes and putting on the face cap he brought, they all left the rest room.

While Lisa went to join the people participating in the 100m race. Yoongi and Jimin found it hard to find a spot to seat and when they did, it was beside Taehyung and Hoseok.

He has hardly spoken to him ever since that incident at Jimoon's home and Taehyung seem to ignore him too which got Jimin feeling down some times but it will all change when he ends up winning the marathon.

"The three legged race, did we win?" He asked striking a conversation with him but Taehyung ignored him while Hoseok replied.

"Of course! Namjoon might be useless in all things but he knows what he is doing when it comes to that game"

Jimin gave him a nervous smile in return before watching Lisa's game.

The whistle was blown and the participants began to run.

"Hope she wins" Hoseok said out in anticipation.

Every one was focused on the game apart from Jimin who kept staring at Taehyung.

Why is he ignoring me? He thought as he heard every one scream out in excitement cause Lisa won the female race for their team.

"Don't underestimate Lisa" Yoongi said directing it to Hoseok who shrugged in return.

While every one began to disperse for the next location of the game, Jimin took hold of Taehyung hand when he stood up to leave.

"I heard you will be joining in on the basket ball match, just want to wish you luck"  he said slowly.

"Thanks" was the only reply he gave before walking off.

< EMPTY CLASS >

"How do I look?" Lisa who was now sheathe in a blue lovely gown and whose face is accentuated with make up, giving her a dazzling look asked her friends who were all quiet.

"Is it that bad?" Lisa asked pulling up the long folds of the gown.

"Bad? Definitely not! You look enchanting" Yoongi gushed out in excitement.

"I never knew you had a lovely skin and that's all thanks to your baggy shirts and trousers" Jin who had come to help with Lisa's contest commented.

"You look...... You will surely win today's game" Jimin let out gawking at her friend.

"You really think so?" Lisa asked still unsure while the make up artist Lisa had called over kept fussing over her hair.

"Of course, you will" Jimin replied giving her a thumbs up.

< SCHOOL HALL >

"Am sure she's gonna make us lose, you should have chosen a pretty girl " Hoseok complained.

"Just give her a break, she might make our jaw drop like she said" Namjoon replied while Taehyung and Jackson kept shut.

The MC arrived and for a while he talked about the two team and when that was over, he called out team Diamond queen who turned out to be Wu.

Wu stride out in a figure hugging red gown which made him look sexy and earned him a lot of attention from both the guys and guys.

He searched around the whole place for Jungkook but there was no sign of him and though that got him a bit angry, it didn't stop him from smiling and waving to his team members.

And when team Alpha was finally called, Lisa silently said a prayer before strolling outside in her enchanting blue dress.

She had only agreed to do this contest to shut Hoseok's mouth but being the centre of attraction got her feeling nervous.

She slowly made her way to the podium while waving at her team members who were all gawking at her.

Did her friends lie to her? Isn't she beautiful enough? She thought.

"You are freaking beautiful!" A students from the other team yelled out startling Lisa.

"You are beautiful!" Her team mates began to scream out and she could tell that they weren't lying due to the admiring gaze they sent her way.

"What have you got to say?" Namjoon asked Hoseok whose jaw was open just at seeing Lisa's transformation.

"You might as well close that for him" Jackson said to Namjoon who help Hoseok close his mouth startling him back to reality since he had been lost staring at Lisa.

"Who is that beauty?" Hyunjin asked Chan and Wang who were beside him.

"Dummy! Don't you know Wu" Chan chided.

"Am not talking about Wu but the angel beside him" Hyunjin replied staring at Lisa.

"That's Jimoon's tom boy friend. Don't tell me that you are also enchanted by her ugliness" Chan retort but Hyunjin was hardly paying them attention since his gaze is solely on Lisa who kept waving at her team mate.

"Since the vote on who is the prettiest amongst these two queens is a tie. We will be playing a game and I will be needing a guy from each team " The MC said just as a lot of guys began raising their hand up just to be paired with Lisa and Wu.

Hyunjin was chosen for the Diamond team though he would have love to be Lisa's partner, he thought as he kept staring at Lisa.

"Do I have the chance to pick some one to be my partner?" Lisa asked the MC who gave her the go sign.

She let her gaze roam for a bit and when it landed on Hoseok, she pointed at him.

"Me?" Hoseok let out incredulously while she nodded in reply.

"You've been chosen, so come on the podium" the MC said to Hoseok who went to join them.

"This is what is required of the two teams. Both men are required to carry this two queens in their arms for some minutes and whoever drops them before the limited time loses the game" the MC said.

"That's easy peasy" Hyunjin said lifting Wu into his arms.

"You are dead if you drop me" Wu warned him.

Hoseok slowly lifted Lisa into his arms while she wrapped her arms around him, moving close to him while giving him a cocky grin.

"What are you up to now?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" She asked with sweet innocence.

"Why did you choose me amongst the other guys?" Hoseok asked.

"For me to see how much you regret the things you've said to me" Lisa replied triumphantly.

"Tch!"

"Don't you have anything to say seeing me dressed this way?" She asked when he said nothing.

"What do you want me to say?" Hoseok asked.

"That you admit defeat and that am a swan" She said while moving close to him.

Hoseok was lost for words cause having her this close to him was making him feel nervous.

She might not notice but he's very much aware of her b**bs being pressed on his hard chest even as she wrap her arms around him.

"Stop holding me tight or am going to drop you down" he threatened which got her losing her hold on his neck.

"So you won't admit defeat right?" She asked pouting at him, some thing which made her look more pretty.

"Now let's make the game more exciting, The guys should lift one leg up while the two queens hold onto these books" the MC said while some books were brought by two students who gave Lisa and Wu three set of books each and they were all heavy.

"If you can't do it, just give up" Lisa said to Hoseok.

"Shut up!" He mouth at her while she smiled at him in return.

She was still smiling when she saw Hyunjin starring at her.

Hyunjin who wasn't listening to Wu ramblings saw Lisa smiling at him and that made his arms go weak.

He let go of Wu who landed on the floor with a thump making Lisa and Hoseok the winner of the game.

"You imbecile! Are you crazy!" Wu yelled at him even as he stood up.

"I think I am crazy" Hyunjin replied touching his chest even as he kept watching Lisa who was happy at the moment for winning.

< BASKET BALL COURT >

"It's time to see what those nymphs can do" Lisa muttered still dressed in her queen's outfit and that earned her looks from admirers.

"Hey! Taehyung is some one who has never failed in basket ball" Jin said defensively.

"But he's going to be playing against Jungkook who taught him how to play, let's see if he will be able to beat his teacher" Lisa said and that spike up Jimin's attention.

"What do you mean by Jungkook taught him ?" He asked.

"Before their mysterious fight a year ago, the two were best of friends. Rumour has it that Taehyung always followed Jungkook around wanting to do every thing Jungkook did but their fight ended it" Lisa replied.

"Taehyung who have always look up to Jungkook now hates him and the same goes for Jungkook" Yoongi added.

"It's gonna be hard playing against Jungkook. Taehyung once thought of him as his idol" Jin said which got Jimin wondering if Jin and Taehyung had been close in the past for him to say such personal thing.

The players came in dressed in their respective uniforms and Jimin wouldn't deny that the white head band on his fore head and in his sport gear, Taehyung looked so handsome.

Jimin gaze was on Taehyung that he didn't notice Jungkook staring at him.

The referee blew the whistle and the game began.

Team Alpha scored thrice in a row making their team scream out in joy.

Even though Hoseok focus was on the game, he couldn't resist starring Lisa and the same goes for Hyunjin.

While Yoongi and Jimin kept watching Namjoon and Taehyung.

The game turned over when Team Diamond began winning with Jungkook scoring most of the balls.

Taehyung and his team could hardly keep up with Jungkook's team and when the time was up. Jungkook's team ended up winning.

Hyunjin who was excited blew a kiss directly at Lisa.

"Is it me or did Hyunjin just blew me a kiss?" Lisa asked her friends.

"Hyunjin hates us just as much as we do to him and so you must be imagining it" Yoongi replied while Lisa nodded in return.

< MEN'S LOCKER ROOM >

Taehyung left the locker room only for him to stop when a cold cola and a wrapped up doughnut was thrust in front of him.

"What's this?" He asked starring at Jimin who brought it.

"Just wanted to brighten up your mood" Jimin replied still stretching it at him.

"You are only dampening it" he said trying to walk past him but Jimin followed suit.

"Losing isn't every thing. Some times you lose for a reason and also win for a reason " Jimin said.

"Just as you will be losing today right?"he asked.

"Uh?"

"You might try to show to every one that you are doing fine but I know you aren't. Your injury isn't healed enough but still you will participate in the marathon right?" He asked and he nodded.

"The marathon isn't a joke, running for an hour won't help that foot, it will only worsen it. Do you want to become a cripple?" He asked again.

"Then what do you want me to do? Will you stay quiet if I decide not to participate and besides every one is counting on me, I can't back out now" he replied hotly.

"Fine then, do whatever you want. I won't care anymore " he said turning to leave.

"I will definitely win the Marathon, I will win and prove you wrong!" He yelled after him and moving to the nearest bin, he threw the doughnut and Cola into It before leaving for the next game which is the marathon.
