"I missed you so much", someone said from behind while giving a back hug to Karan.

Karan and Ananya both were shocked by this. Karan left Ananya's hand and waist and turned back to see who the person is. Karan didn't react for next few minutes but then he hugged the person really tight.

"I miss you too Natasha", Karan said.

Ananya is confused seeing this two hugging so tight. There is a girl who is of her age. She is hot and sexy.

"Ananya , this is Natasha , my childhood friend and Natasha , this is Ananya , my friend", Karan introduced both of them.

"Hi Ananya , nice to meet you", Natasha said with a smile.

"Same here", Ananya replied.

"Ananya , you know after 5 years we meet when I went to London , few days back", Karan said.

"Ya that's right, when we were kids we always hanged out together but then due to our career choices we got separated and then I went to London", Natasha said.

"But why didn't you tell me that you are coming to India? I would have come to pick you up from airport", Karan asked.

"I wanted to surprise you ,so didn't inform you prior", Natasha replied.

"Oohh and why sudden decision of  coming back to India?"Karan asked.

"To complete the work which I should have completed a long time ago", Natasha said smirking.

"And what is that?" Karan asked.

"To get married to you idiot", Natasha replied.

Ananya is shocked hearing this. Natasha has come here to get married to Karan. She felt hurt. She is feeling like someone has stabbed her in her heart. Without saying another word she goes away from there. With great difficulty she hold back her tears. Once inside the washroom she starts crying. She doesn't know why she is crying? It is not like Karan is her boyfriend or something. Then why is she feeling hurt or may be she is jealous? As till now she has not seen Karan with any other girl then her and this is the first time she is seeing him with someone else.

After 15 minutes Ananya came back to the party hall and saw Natasha and Karan dancing. They were two close for her liking. Both of them look like a perfect couple.

"They make a perfect couple, don't you think?" Karan's mom asked standing beside Ananya.

"Hmm yes", Ananya replied with great difficulty.

"You know Ananya they were inseparable from childhood. She was the only girl with whom Karan talked. Karan even had a crush on her during his teenage years. I use to always tell him that when they both will grow up we will get them married and I think now i can fulfill my this wish", karan's mom said happily.

Ananya is stunned hearing this. Karan will get married to Natasha? They look good together but will he seriously get married to her? Then what was that when he use to tell her "I love you", ? It was told just as a friend or their was some feelings behind this?

Ananya came out from her la la land back when she heared a loud music. She went towards the food section and took her dish.

"Where did you go all of a sudden?" Karan asked.

Ananya turned back as soon as she heared Karan's voice. Even Natasha is with Karan and he is holding her by her waist which is not been liked by Ananya.

"I was here only", Ananya replied.

"Ok , let's eat now, I am starving", Karan said.

"Even I am starving, Karan I will have with you only so please get some food for me as well", Natasha replied.

"Ok", Karan replied.

Ananya and Karan came back to the table were Natasha was already sitting.

Throughout the dinner Karan and Natasha were busy among themselves. Ananya is feeling left out. This is the first time when Karan is giving more importance to someone  else then her.

All the guests have already left and now only Ananya , Karan's family and Natasha with her dad are present in the hall.

"Aunty , it's getting late so I think even I should leave", Ananya said.

"Ok beta , just call Karan once you reach home", Karan's mom said.

"It was nice meeting you Ananya", Natasha said giving her a hug.

"Same here", Ananya said smiling.

She is moving towards the door and is hoping that Karan will come with her till the car atleast but is dissapointed when she saw that he is busy talking to Natasha.

She reached her flat in an hour and after sitting on couch for 5 minutes she called karan but his phone is busy , so she thought to change and then call him back , so that they can talk for a long time.

After changing she again tried Karan's number but it is still busy. So she dropped him a message.

"I reached home safely.. good night sweet dreams ", Ananya messaged.

She is looking at her phone in every 5 minutes. But it's been an hour and still Karan neither called her nor read her message. Finally she thought it is better to sleep.

After 10 minutes she heared the message ringtone of her phone. She got up and opened watsapp , it is a message from Karan.

"Hey sorry couldn't recieve your call, actually was talking to Natasha. Will call you tomorrow. Good night sweet dreams.

Ananya read the message and felt bad. This is the first time in last few months that she is sleeping without talking to him. Keeping all the negative thoughts aside she went to sleep.

Two days later..
It had been two days since Ananya had talked to Karan. Whenever she calls Karan his phone will be busy or either he will be in hospital or with Natasha. Ananya is frustrated now so she decided that today she will go and meet Karan.

At night when she went to his place his mom informed that he had gone for dinner with Natasha. Ananya came back home and slept. She thought it is better not to disturb Karan. As Karan's mom said may be Karan and Natasha like each other and will soon get married.

Whole week passed in this pattern itself and today is sunday which means Karan's parents will be going to Dubai. Ananya got ready and thought of visiting  Karan's place to help his mom.

"You ae going there to meet Karan not because you want to help his mom",my mind said.

"No its nothing like that , and I am not going their to meet him", I said.

"As you say", my mind said smirking.

I kept my thoughts aside and went to Karan's place. As the door bell rang Karan's mom told him to open the door. Ananya kept staring at Karan as soon as she saw him. He is looking deviliously handsome in his grey tracks. She is seeing him after a week.

"I know I am handsome, so stop ogling at me",  Karan said smirking.

Ananya came out from her fantasy world and went inside. She could hear laughing sound from Karan's parents room.

"Who is it Karan?" his mom asked.

"Ananya , mom", Karan replied.

Karan's mom and Natasha came to the living room. Ananya took Karan's mom blessing and then greeted Natasha , but is stunned when Natasha hugs her.

"Where were you Ananya? I am seeing you after a whole week", Karan's mom said.

"Was busy aunty",Ananya replied.

"Ok", Karan's mom said smiling.

"So aunty all done for the trip?" Ananya asked.

"Ya dear , thanks to Natasha. She helped me alot in this week", Karan's mom said.

"It's ok aunty, anyways I was free and morever I got this time to be with you and Karan", Natasha said winking at Karan.

Karan just smiled at her comment whereas Ananya was angry now. She thought he is busy but here he was spending time with Natasha. 

"Ohh I thought you will need help so I came here today, but it is good Natasha helped you", Ananya said with a fake smile.

"Good na atleast you came here by that motive",  Karan's mom said.

"I think I should leave now. Happy journey aunty , enjoy your trip", Ananya wished.

"Why leaving so soon Ananya? Spend some time with us",Natasha said.

"Actually I have some work , so I have to leave", Ananya replied.

Karan who is listening to all this felt something is wrong with Ananya.  From the time she has seen Natasha she is behaving weird.

"Ok , then I won't stop you as work  comes first, but I want you to attend my engagement party which is on Wednesday ,so you have to come with Karan as uncle and aunty are not here , but you both have to come no excuses", Natasha said .

Ananya is stunned by this revalation made by Natasha. She is engaged to someone else? She didn't speak for two minutes but after coming back to her sensed she spoke.

"You are engaged?" Ananya asked shocked.

"Ya ,for this only , I came to India. Our families wanted are engagement to be held in India, so we came here",  Natasha replied.

"Ok , what your husband do?" Ananya asked.

"He is a businessman", Natasha replied.

"Ok", Ananya replied.

"You have to come for my engagement , I dont want any excuses", Natasha said sternly.

"Ya sure why not", Ananya said with a heartwarming smile.

Karan is confused now by her sudden mood swings. Few minutes back he saw hurt and sadness in her eyes and now he can see happiness. He thought to talk to her once when they are alone.

"Aunty even I am leaving as I have lunch date with Vicky , Happy journey aunty , enjoy your trip", Natasha wished while hugging karan's mom.

"Thank you baccha and all the best for your new journey baccha. God bless you both",karan's mom said while keeping her hand on Natasha ' s head.

"Karan pick me up from my place at night ,I will come with you to drop uncle and aunty", Ananya said while moving towards the door.

Ananya and Natasha left to their apartments , while Karan's mom is busy in her final packing.

In the evening karan and Ananya went to drop Karan's parents at the airport. Then both of them came to Ananya's apartment.

"Will you like to have coffee with me?", Ananya asked.

"Ya sure", Karan replied.

Ananya went to the kitchen and prepared coffee for them. Karan is waiting for her in the balcony.

"Here", Ananya said giving Karan his coffee.

"Thank you",Karan replied.

Both were enjoying their coffee and no one spoke for next 5 minutes. Finally Ananya spoke.

"I didn't knew that Natasha is engaged? As that day she said she has come here to marry you", Ananya said with a bit of hurt in her eyes.

"She was joking",Karan replied.

"Even aunty told me that she wants you to get married to Natasha", Ananya said.

"Mom didn't knew that Natasha is engeged",Karan replied.

"Oohh", Ananya said.

"But now I am thinking it is high time , i should get married now , as even my mom needs help. My mom can be free once she hands over her responsibility to her daughter-in-law and even I need a companion now", Karan said looking in Ananya's eyes.

"Ya" Ananya replied not meeting his eyes.

"Once mom and dad comes back from Dubai I will tell mom to start searching a suitable bride for me", Karan said.

Ananya who is trying very hard to control her tears but couldn't do it. She just ran away to her room.

Karan came to her room and saw her lying flat on her stomach.

"Why did you run away like that?" Karan asked.

"Nothing Karan, I was just... hmm I am not feeling well", Ananya said while standing in front of karan.

"Ohh really? What happened to you all of a sudden? From morning I am watching, you have lot of mood swings today ", Karan said.

"It's nothing like that", Ananya replied still not looking in his eyes.

"Ok so tell me why did you run away like that?", Karan asked.

" I told you na I am not feeling well", Ananya answered.

"Do you think I will buy your this excuse?" Karan asked.

"It is not an excuse it is truth" Ananya said.

"So your sudden illness is due to the revalation that i made?" Karan asked.

"No karan", Ananya replied.

"So you are happy if I get married?", Karan asked.

Ananya didn't answer to his question. She is still confused about her feelings for Karan.

Karan lost his temper when she didn't answer to his question. So he said that which he didn't wanted to say her.

"Till now I was just messing with you , but now I feel it's high time I should really get married as you will never confess your feelings to me , so better I should move on.."Karan said.
