Ananya's POV :-
Today finally is the day for Armaan and Rehana's engagement. All are busy with the preparations. Even Armaan's sisters and other relatives have come but all are staying at hotel, only Armaan and his mom dad are at our place.

"Ananya , Rehana called you to her place she is saying you have to accompany  her to the hotel so tell what reply I should give her", my mom asked me while talking to Rehana on phone.

"Tell her I will be there by 5",I said.

After that I went to hotel where the cermony is going to be held to check the last minute preparations. I checked the preparation and also checked on  guest whether they need something or what. Till I completed the whole work it is already 4 so I went back home , took my dress and then went to Rehana's place.

After 15 minutes I went to her room and saw that beauticians are already  present there and Rehana has gone to bathroom to change. I greeted them and changed into my dress in the next room. I wore this👇

As I am not a big fan of makeup so did a light makeup with kohil , eyeliner and a pink lipstick. I wore long hearings and kept my hair open. I looked at myself last time and exit the room so that I can see whether Rehana is ready or not.

Ring...ring...

Mom calling..

"Haa mom".

"Ananya where did you keep Rehana's engagement  ring", mom asked.

"Ohh it's in my cupboard mom in the left side drawer", I said.

"Guiness then you have to come back home as your cupboards keys are with you",my mom said.

"Ohh ya wait I will be there in 15 minutes", I said.

I informed Rehana's mom that I will meet them at the venue only direct and left for my home. I reached in 15 minutes and directly went to my cupboard to take the ring.

While taking out the ring from the cupboard tears started flowing from my eyes. Though I am happy for Rehana but still I can't deny  that I love Armaan. It will take a lot of time for me to forget armaan. I kept on looking at the ring until mom's voice brought me back to my senses. I wiped my tears and did touch up as my kohl was spread.

I went down and saw that all are ready so we began getting in cars.

"Simran where is Armaan",I asked.

"Armaan jiju went to Rehana di's place and then from there they will come together,"Simran informed me.

We both were silent after that and I kept on looking out of the window. It is becoming very difficult for me to see them together. So I have made my mind that I will try for a job from tomorrow so that I will be occupied with it and I won't get thoughts of Armaan. 

We reached there after half an hour and saw guest started coming. I looked for the last time on all the preparation and I am satisfied now.

After 10 minutes Rehana and Armaan came hand in hand ,both were looking extremely gorgeous.

Rehana wore a pink colour lehanga and a netted blouse and  a dupatta. She wore heavy  neck piece with long heaeings. While Armaan wore a white kurta pyjama with a white jacket. Both were complimenting each other.
I went and hugged her.

"You are looking extremely beautiful Rehana",I said.

"Thank you but even you look pretty", she said.

I then smiled at Armaan and then we all went to stage for the cermony.

Rehana was made to sit on chair and then aunty came forward,  put kumkum on her forhead and then made her to wear silver  anklet. Then both the didi's came forward and gave her jewelery. Then Armaan's mom gave coconut and jaggery to Rehana's mom and then they clicked some pictures.

Rehana was now taken down from stage and Rehana's father gave some cash and made Armaan wear the gold chain. Some gifts like watch , braclet and some other things  were also  given to Armaan. Rehana's family also gave gold chains to both the jiju's of Armaan and his dad.

Rehana took blessings from all the elderly ladies of Armaan's family and all of them gave her envelopes containing cash.

Now was the time for the engagement so both Armaan ans Rehana were taken to stage. Armaan's family and Rehana's family were on stage.

"Ananya come on the stage and give the ring to Rehana", Rehana's mom said.

I went on the stage and gave the ring to Rehana. Armaan forwarded his hand and Rehana slipped the ring into his ring finger.

Armaan's sister gave ring to Armaan and then he slides that ring in Rehana's finger. All cheered for them and then lots of photos were clicked of the couple as well as with the family.

All the couples danced on the song and singles were enjoying the performance.

"May I get a dance with you Ananya", sourabh asked me while forwarding his hand in front of me.

I gave him a shocked look.
"Sourabh you  very well know that I don't dance", I said.

"I know you don't dance but please today for my sake dance na please", sourabh said.

He gave me his best puppy face which he know I can't resist and then I gave him my hand and both went to the dance floor. I kept my one hand on his shoulder and my other hand is in his hand, while his one hand is holding my waist. We started dancing and soon I started enjoying it. We danced like this for sometime and then the music stopped.

All the guest were enjoying the dinner as it included from indian to continental to all the authentic marwari dishes.

After sometime all the guest left the hall and now only Armaan's family , Rehana's family and my family are remaining.  We all sat on a table and then the food is served  to us.

After completing our dinner we all sat again on chairs while making a big group.

"I don't have words to thank you Mr.  And Mrs . Mehta along with your daughters as this programme wouldn't be so good without your help so thank you", said Armaan's father.

"Hey no need to thank us we are family now", said my dad.

"Even I want to tell something", Rehana said looking at us.

"Yes beta tell",Armaan's dad said while encouraging Rehana to speak.

Rehana looked at Armaan and after getting his node she came near me. She forwarded her hand in front of me. I took her hand and then we went and stood in center.

"Ananya I don't have words to thank you, whatever you did for me and Armaan is incredible. This engagement wouldn't be possible if you wouldn't have looked after everything. So thank you for everything you did for us", Rehana said and hugged me.

"Stop saying thanks and we are friends so this is the least I could do for you", I said.

"Ananya;  Armaan and I both want you to plan our weeding. We want you to personally look after everything. From our clothes to our wedding decoration to catering, we want you to  do evrything", Rehana said.

I am speechless as I never expected she will tell me to plan her weeding. It is so tough for me to even digest the fact that my friend and my lover are getting married and on top of that my friend want me to plan her weeding. Why god why? I can't tell no to her but it is really tough for me to plan her weeding.

"Rehana I think you forgot that I am a C.A not a weeding planner",I told her.

"No, I very well know that you are C.A not a weeding planner but I know you will plan my weeding better then a weeding planner as you know both Armaan and my taste very well , so please preety please", she said.

"But Rehana I won't get time as even I am going to start searching for Job from tomorrow", I tried to give reason.

"You can apply for job after our wedding na as it is hardly 2 months and even I won't have time to do shopping so you can handle everything, please don't say no Ananya", Rehana said with pleading eyes.

"Ok I will do", I said.

She hugged me and said thank you. After that we all said good bye to each other as Armaan's family has to leave by tomorrow morning so we all went home.

After reaching home we all went to our rooms as everyone were hell tired. I changed into my night dress and was going to lie only on bed when I heared knock on the door. I opened the door and saw Simran is standing there. I know for what she came to my room so I took her inside and closed the door. She went and sat on my bed.

"Why di ,  why are you doing this", Simran asked me.

"Simran let's not talk about this", I said to her and went and sat on other side of bed.

"Di you could have told no to Rehana di, I know you are hurt , it is very difficult for you to even see them together then how will you plan there wedding"? Simran  asked me.

"Simran I should accept this truth and move on in life so I became ready to plan there wedding and you know I can't say no to Rehana".

"I know di but sometime even think about urself", Simran said.

"Leave it Simran and let's sleep now as we are tired ", I said.

She went to her room after wishing me good night.

I slept instantly as I am very tired.

Next day:-
Armaan and his parents  left from our house at morning 10 after doing breakfast. I went to airport to drop them. Both uncle and aunty make me feel like I am there daughter only and though I didn't get much time to spent with Armaan's sisters  but even they treat me like there younger sister. Though I am not getting married to Armaan but I got an extended family and I am happy for that.
