"The party is quite crowded? Is this the entire family?" Mr Griffen asked the waiters ,all in union nodded their heads. Mr Griffen was quite surprised that so many came to watch the ceremony of Dominic proposing to his daughter Alexis It was sure to be a evening of joy and celebration because his first son Jacob was to wed in a few months time. To say the Griffen family was happy about the two was an understatement, they were overjoyed, elated ,excited you name it! Mr Griffen dismissed the waiters as they got back to serving the people, Mr Griffen left for his daughter's bedroom. After a fleet of stairs plus one long corridor he made it to his daughter's room. Knocking gently he called out.

"Alexis? Honey? Are you in there?" her father asked softly. The door slightly opening to reveal Alexis in all her beauty. Alexis was a very bright and beautiful young maiden who was as pure as clear water. She was anxious, scared and happy all at once. Someone finally asked for her hand in marriage ,but she didn't know who was it? The poor girl thought that a kind prestigious man had offered to marry her since that was every maiden's dream. To marry a man of high standards.

And that man was Dominic Beckers.

He was simply flawless and perfect in every way. Every thing he did in front of the public's eye was perfect. He was flawless, definition of perfection they all thought wistfully ,but little did they know about the lad, very little indeed.

As Alexis and her father (in his mid forties) made their way done the stars hand in hand, people watching in awe as the soon to be Mrs Beckers walked down the stairs. Her beautiful purple gown with small shaped pieces of diamonds covering the breast area and around the ends of the dress. The laced long sleeves suiting her foot length dress her heels hidden from the human eye. Her beautiful dyed purple hair neatly done in a bun two sides breaded with some glitter sprinkled on the breaded part. Her pale skin looking as smooth as a baby's bottom, her dark brown eyes twinkling in delight and excitement.

They finally made it to the dance floor(which is the dance room second floor) Alexis went on to greet her family members as her father made his way in front of the room where the instrumental violin players were. Handed a mic he spoke.
"Testing one, two, three? Okay it works. Hello everyone! Today we're here to celebrate the proposing of my lovely daughter Alexis. Can we all clear out for the groom to dine with his to be bride( laughs) as tradition as we watch him propose to her." Mr Griffen finally finished giving the mic back to the haired singer as she sang beautifully with her angelic voice.

As people cleared out leaving Alexis on the dance floor alone hands on her sides as she awaited her knight in shining armor, her prince charming, the father of her children. A wide smile plastered on her beautiful face the chandelier shining its bright light onto her as the singer sang 'Thinking out loud' by Ed Sheeren. The mood was sat, the crowd was watching in anticipation waiting to see the groom. Soon enough Dominic behind Alexis he stood, the crowd all gasping in shock and amazement, but Dominic shushed them to not ruin the surprise. All understanding his command pretending to be blank on the matter Alexis was getting impatient. With one swift move Dominic clasped his hands covering both Alexis's eyes blinding her. She gasped in shock ,but soon composed herself as she felt the hands. The singer's singing becoming softer letting the audience listen in on the conversation. Alexis was so happy her fiancee finally showed up a storm of butterflies erupted causing havoc in her stomach, her heartbeat had already quickened as the tingling feeling one gets when one is near a lover or a person one admires (crushing on) gets.

"Guess who?" Dominic said his voice deep and yet so calm. His voice sounded so familiar to Alexis's ears ,but so foreign too? Sounds crazy, yes, but she just couldn't pin point who it is. She has never seen the man she's to wed, so she was a bit on edge on who is her supposed fiancee.

"Is it Santa?" she asked playing along to Dominic's game, a smirk plastered on her lips, she was lucky her mother wasn't around to see that smirk or else.....lets just say all hell would've broken loose.!

"Nope.(he said popping the 'p') Guess again." Dominic said again. He was enjoying the game he was playing with his soon to be bride, soon to be mother of his children. He too has never seen Alexis but when he had entered their doors, met her parent they were all so familiar to him, but yet couldn't pin point who and how he knew them?

"Is it the Easter bunny?" Alexis asked her smile never leaving. Holding onto his hands which were on her eyes. He chuckled at her silliness. The so familiar chuckle awoke Alexis's nerves. This is getting a bit creepy, everything about her fiancee and soon to be husband was oddly and strangely familiar?

No, maybe am just imagining things. First the voice and now the familiar chuckle? Maybe i am just imagining things.

Alexis thought ,but pushed those thoughts away.

"No, try one last time." Dominic encouraged Alexis. She chuckled a small chuckled which quickly dead as it came. Dominic grew curious.

Who is my fiancee?

Dominic questioned. The voice and now the soft giddy like chuckle made him all the more curious and intrigued on who is his future wife?

"Is it my future husband?" Alexis asked and everyone applaud at the answer. Leaning closer near the crook where Alexis's neck and shoulder connected, his hot breath fanning the area and near the ear. Her body grew tensed at the sudden closeness.

"That's correct, Juliet . Or should i say Alexis?" Dominic said and Alexis as if burnt by flames jumped out of his grasp.

Oh God!

She thought.

Am engaged to....

"Dominic?!" she said in amazement. She eyed Dominic warily.

What is he doing on the dancefloor with me!

She thought angrily to herself.

Alexis with wide eyes hands clasped onto her a jar mouth watched in pure horror and shock while the audience watched in awe, Dominic go down on one knee, pulling out a cubed small black and probably soft box out of his pocket.

As if in slow motion he opened the box to reveal a ring. A cristal diamond ring.

Her mind was shouting NO! But if she rejected Dominic she would be disowned and thrown out as a piece of trash just like Justin.

Those four words Alexis wished were said by another, those four words she knew would have changed her life for the better.

Those four heart melting, mind blowing, butterfly worthy words came out of the one men who she hated with a burning passion was about to say those four words.

A sly smirk creped on the corners of his perfectly shaped lips, his eyes twinkling in mischief and from that moment on Alexis knew her life would change, for the worst.!

"Will. You. Marry. Me?" he asked in a charming voice he used when speaking or flirting with one of the girls her age. That voice or tone worked like magic, everyone in the room were on edge. Waiting for Alexis's answer.

Alexis was left speechless! She can't bring herself to say that one word that will be the reason of her suffering, of her soon to come sorrow. Alexis and Dominic hated each other, they had no intention to resolve their issues about each other because Alexis knew Dominic wouldn't corporate.

With forced tears and a forced smile just for show, she said the word she had been saving for her prince charming.

"Yes." she said with a tear filled chuckle ( a cry for help) as the room erupted in cheers. Dominic stood up and closed the gape between him and Alexis. Alexis took her left hand out of its hiding place and watched in sadness as Dominic slipped in the ring. The room once again bursting into cheers as the singer sang 'future husband' by Magon Trailor. Both hand in hand the two waltz around the dance floor. Dominic's hand placed on the lower back section as one held Alexis's hand while Alexis's other free hand held onto Dominic's shoulder. They both moved in sync to the music as people watched in awe.

"I never thought you would have been my fiancee?" Dominic said looking behind Alexis, a forced smile plastered on his face just for show.

"Yes, same goes for you too." Alexis said anger seething through her words as her forced wide grin gave her friends and family happy faces.

"Your going to regret saying 'yes' to this marriage. I promise you that."
