It was one pleasant Sunday morning. And was finally the start of the day for Avni who was stirring her coffee mug lazily as she was listening to the morning news dictated by alexa. Oreo, her pet followed his lazy owner who was heading to the couch.

     Though Avni very well knows about every corner of the house, she could never stop her habits counting the steps whenever she walks around, as she settled with her mug on the couch present in one of the corner attached with long French windows. She gave a hearty smile as the cold morning breeze hit her face.

     "What a beautiful morning Oreo", she spoke with her soft voice simultaneously rubbing her dog's belly while Oreo settled in her lap. Oreo is a Doberman dog adopted by Avni few months after her very first pet Fluffy's arrival. Ultimately they both turned into a mating partner.

     "Avni, did u hear the News?" asked rhea who stood at the entrance of her bedroom with half sleepy eyes. Avni just nodded turning to the side where the voice came from. "Good morning" she said.

     "Morning" rhea replied as she sat on the couch besides Avni. "Where is fluffy?" she asked looking around for the newspaper.

     "She is tired, lying in her bed. I think we should take her to the doctor to see if she is expecting or what"

     "Yeah, and our Oreo is goanna become dadaaaa" she giggled as she petted him while he barked in happiness as he went to rhea.

     "Got anything interesting?" rhea asked as she opened the newspaper with a sulky face. She is clearly not a morning person unlike Avni.

     "Nothing much, it's only about a scandal"

     "Of Neil Khanna?" she asked as she read the headlines of the fourth page of the paper.

     "Yup" Avni replied.

     "Let's go then" said rhea as she stood up to get ready for the day "I will read them in the car" she added to which Avni just smiled. No matter what, Avni knows that exactly is not goanna happen.

At Office:

     "I think Ms. Keerthi will cover that news. I need all the related proofs you have gathered before making a rough draft." Avni instructed pointing roughly to her teammates while Keerthi nodded in response. They were in a meeting with their teammates to assign their weekly while rhea was taking notes of everyone's assigned work.

     "And rhea, I am going to cover Neil's scandal." She completed while everyone were looking at Avni in shock.

     Previous day, Avni was in huge argument with rhea when she suggested about covering Neil's sensation. She thought her firm would become a gossiping box if she started covering some random movie star's abrupt mistakes. But later the whole day she noticed that every news channel was trying to imply on people that Neil was obviously the culprit and that is when she understood the pattern of their politics.

     "I know you guys are staring at me. Let me make the point clear. Neil is a celebrity who loves to make controversial statements. And I assume that one of his statements about Indian media's cheap politics has stirred the whole media population against him in this meaningless scandal." Avni completed looking at her right where rhea sits. Rhea pressed Avni's hand in approval with a glee as she was happy enough that finally they are goanna do something for his favorite celebrity. Avni smiled at her in return.

     "You are absolutely right mam. In spite of being an actor Neil has never pulled any cheap public stunts to gain attraction." added Deepak enthusiastically.

     "And we are goanna show the other side of the story. The side which media is not showing because they are busy with their bloody revenge politics." Avni concluded summing up the meeting.

     "I am impressed" rhea finally spoke up as everyone left the room. She was still geeing in happiness at Avni's bold decision.

     "I did some case study about Neil yesterday night and He seems to be genuine and gentleman. Good records with all his costars. So there is no point of framing him to be a druggist right." Avni shrugged casually at rhea.

     "I think I should take an appointment from his manager Ali" Rhea was in no mood to delay as she rushed out of the room to make the call immediately.

     "Neil, the Multimillionaire & a famous star, heartthrob of girls yet he is the most generous celeb ever existing to give 30 percent of his property to charity last year. He cannot be a druggist for sure, or can he? " Avni thought as she buried her face in her palm.

     Avni and Rhea were sitting on a stone bench in the lawn area of Neil's home, waiting for him. Rhea was setting up the recorder while Avni was trying to calm herself from the unknown tension she was feeling. Not that it is her first interview with a celebrity but still she is not being able to reason out this intense feeling.

     Avni has been a very silent girl ever since she has lost her vision. Never had she felt herself incomplete or impotent due to her vision impairment. In fact she was the very successful lady at such a young age that she owns a firm herself.

     She had a unique approach over every news which was always been promising and that was the backbone of her success. But for the very first time she felt conscious about her presence in front of someone. And her mind was battling with her, as her brain was not being able to reason this sudden hike of heart beat.

     Was this because he is handsome as said by others, she thought. But that is absurd, she knows. Loving things through looks was next to impossible for Avni. But this unknown attraction was still a puzzle for Avni. For the very first time she started to have concern on how she is looking for the day.

     She was so beguiled in her thoughts that she failed to notice Rhea's call which made her shake her shoulders.

     "Where are you lost?" she asked pulling her back to the reality.

     "Sorry, I was just recalling the questions!" she managed politely while rhea nodded in affirmation.

     "Nervous?"

     "What? No, absolutely not." Avni chuckled trying to hide exhaustion in her voice.

     Really, she thought but shrugged her thoughts immediately trying to concentrate on the work she has come for.

Okay, so it was a new start.

A new story, but probably short one. May be four chapters.
