"Gihi." Gajeels smirked as he positioned himself, we stood there for a good couple of moments before I pranced to him, I was a little girl, so my speed was dominant and my weight was easy to carry. I dodged his first attempt of punching my shoulder, then another that was aimed for my ribs, I reached out to hit his jaw but not surprisingly it was easily blocked, the next hit scored on his abdomen with my knee, maybe he should stop looking at my face. He hesitated before looking at me with determination to beat me, a sense of worry went through me, I really hoped I wasn't pushing it. That went away when I felt his blow hit me.

Gajeel POV

I may have underestimated my punch to her hip for she doubled back, this definitely wasn't hard, but it wasn't easy, the shrimp was quick and if I wasn't watching closely she would nick me. She already did before when I was more focused on how soft her hair was wrapped around my fingers then I was about her next move which hit my stomach, a little hard for her I might add. I watched her smile to herself for the accomplishment.
But she regained her strength and came at me again, the blocking went on without a break for more then 10 minutes when I finally had enough and moved my position with her attack in motion, I put my hand behind her head and shoved it forward, it caught her by surprise as I heard her stumble, feeling as if I had won I turned around.
"What the fuck?" She wasn't there, on the ground, I got a feeling of worry before I saw something in the air, looking up was levy in a tree, more of her jumping off the tree and put her legs on my shoulder and lurched forward, making us fall both on the ground.
I managed to catch myself before crushing her, we laid there for a split second before she shoved me and got onto my stomach.
"Let me come with you." She demanded, sweat glossed her forehead and she was breathing heavier, I stared at her for a long moment, she looked so determined to come with me and Lily, she really liked being with us, I also liked it. But ever since the one mission I took her on when we were ambushed, one of the bandits took levy and right in front of me snapped her arm like a pencil, the scream she let out still haunted my dreams, the nightmare I always have is of her crying my name out to help. You bet your ass I helped, knocked all his teeth out and kicked him into the water, I haven't even given the thought of letting her come again with us.
I never wanted to see her hurt.
"Levy." I softly said, she flinched and then blushed a little, I sat up with her now in my lap and cupped her cheek, her sweat smelled of the grass on the ground, her skin bright and pale and her lips, so smooth looking. I leaned my forehead against hers.
"Please." She whimpered. I leaned into her.
"Well isn't it my favorite people in the guild!" A voice boomed our ears, levy squeaked and jumped off of me and stood frozen.
"Lily!" We both ran up to him and gave him a bear hug, I missed the cat a lot more then I had thought then everything was silent and I had realized I was the only one still hugging lily. I let go and grunted, lily slapped my back and laughed.
"Your a big baby." He said.
"You wanna go." I threatened smiling. He smiled back and looked at Levy.
"I missed you levy! I got you come books while i gone." Her whole face lit up withexcitement. God damn she was so cute....wtf Gajeel grow some balls.
"I got us a mission."
"So soon?"
"Yeah cat, you need to show me you still got it." I said. Lily groaned.
"Do you ever relax."
"Nope. Gihi."

Me and lily were at the house packing up for the mission when I nudged me.
"I was gone for awhile wasnt it." He said, I raised an eye brow.
"Uh. Yeah and?"
"Did I miss anything important."
"Not really, I mean everything here has been pretty normal, Natsu is stink a pain and Gray is still annoying and-"
"I meant, did I miss anything important to you."
"What do you mea-" I then realized what he meant when he grinned widely.
"I'm not talking to you about this."
"Dont be like that, I saw you two in the woods."
"Creepy cat." I muttered.
"You were going to kiss her, looking at her it looked like she was relaxed and prepared. Which only means one thing." Lily stood in front of me now.
"You guys already confessed."
"No, I did. She hasn't said a word about it."
"So he speaks." He said. I scolded at him.
But it was true, she may had kissed me back yes but she never said anything back about liking me back. Not that I'm surprised, after what I've caused her I would probably been impossible to see me as lovable. It made me feel incapable of love, and I was angered for those days. I sighed and looked at Lily.
"She wants to come."
"Really? How come?"
"I dont know, but she most likely wont let it go. But it's an S class mission lily. I dont want her to get hurt."
"Levy has matured since then. The whole situation was unplanned but what happened happened Gajeel, you cant blame yourself."
I stood there thinking about it, all her techniques were clean and smooth and all together good. I hesitated before nodding.
"Good, now let's go get the rascal."

levy POV

I was at my kitchen table scrubbing the t shirt that got all dirty during the fight when I heard my door being knocked it, cleaning off my hands I got to the door and opened it. Gajeel stood there looking down at me, he was so dreamy with his frown and his bulging muscles.
"Pack your things." He grunted, excitement went over me and I sqealed, but then composed myself.
"Glad that you have compiled." I said slightly smiling. "Let me go get some things." Before running back into my house and grabbing a pre made back in the corner just in case, before I went back out I caught myself in the mirror, looking at myself I fixed my hair.
I looked like a child, I as always mistaken as one, i had always wondered why people joked about my height and now, I wondered how Gajeel liked me with so many busty and curvy girls always around him. I shook off the thought and went outside to see Gajeel and Lily talking.
"Ready!" I came over to them.
"Then we shall walk." Lily declared, as we started out.

We walked for about an hour into the woods, It was about 5 In the afternoon from where the shadows were darting with my body. Gajeel was ahead of me and lily, lily in exeed form and sat on my shoulder as we walked.
"Gajeel I'm hunrrggyyy." Lily whined, his little cute belly rumbling. Gajeel groaned and kept walking.
"You can wait." He said, lily growled and flew over the Gajeel.
"I'm gonna fly above and looking for the nearest town to eat at." Before anyone said anything he was already high in the air.
Gajeel was still walking ahead of me, his hair bounced slightly with each step and his hands where in his pockets, his hands that I missed touching me, his finger brushing on me, his heat radiating off on me in the night.
"Since your on the mission with us, this isn't going to be easy, its Darius, the cedar fairy, his young niece was taken. Anout a year ago and has all the evidence and knows where she is but he is too old to get her. So we will receive a lot to give her back to him. You understand?" Gajeel said.
"Yes I do."
"I thought since shes a young girl and will most likely be to scared to talk to me or lily. You could consult her."
"Okay." I said complying with this information. Gajeel stopped and turned to me, the dim sunlight hit his eyes and made me glow.
"You've been quiet this whole time." I blushed and felt almost shy.
"I guess I'm just thinking a lot." I said walking up to him so when we started walking again I would be next to him. When I do this we began to.
"About."
I didn't really know how to tell him that I was thinking about him, I wanted to, but instead I slowly put my fingers on his wrist, but he pulled back. A moment of surprise went over me. He looked at me.
"Later"
I then felt lonely, but lily came back down to us.
"We are about 5 miles from the next town, I'm gonna fly over and get a room for us."
"Two rooms please." I added. Gajeel flinched and shifted his eyes to me. Lily giggled.
"Is that okay with you Gajeel." He sang, gajeel kept on walking but then slightly nodded, lily then flew ahead leaving me and gajeel to walk the 3 more miles.

Gajeel POV
We got into the small town about an 1 after lily flew to get us two rooms, two, I was completely surprised by how bold shrimp was openly wanting to share a room with me, but I was happy with it. Levy groaned.
"Not to be annoying but I'm hungry."
"I know shrimp, I think Lily is at the hotel, we need to stop there anyways."
We reached the hotel rooms which were next to each other and lily was in his unpacking his stuff with the door open. Levy unlocked our room and stepped inside.
"Its kinda cute. " she said smiling examining the room, I smiled at her setting my things down in the corner.
"It could be better. " she turned to meet my smile and smiled back.
"Finally you smile." She giggles and sighs, obviously wanting to crash on the bed after all afternoon of walking, but her size required a lot of energy.
"Let's get something to eat first shorty." She nodded and we headed out. Lily followed immediately after.

We ended up eating at a small hub, a more of a bar type of place but had a few booths for actual food, lily ordered kiwis, Levy got macaroni and I had myself steak.
"Hey." I nudged levy when she was eating her food.
"Wha." Her mouth full with food.
"You should have gotta shrimp, or is that cheesy." I couldn't help but bust out laughing at my joke, levy nearly choked and hit me in the arm and lily clearly enjoying the amusement.
"Wow got anymore jokes penny breath." She said giggling. I looked at her smiling.
"Wow someone has attitude doesnt she." She snickered to herself and continued to eat.

It was late 9 now as we all headed back over the hotel, all tired and full, when we stepped into the hotel lily said goodnight and went to his room. We stepped into ours.
"I'm gonna take a quick shower." Levy said rushing over to the bathroom locking the door. With nothing to do I got the bed ready to climb into and unpacked my things into the closet. About 10 minutes later levy came out with cute silk shorts and long sleeve shirt, her hair damp, God she was precious. Before I acted out on my emotions I stepped into the bathroom and took a shower of my own.
I walked out to see levy holding my hair brush in her hand sitting on the bed, the light were out besides the lamp on the night stand, she bekonded me over to her, grinning I sat in front of her.
"Tell me if I hurt you." She softly says as I felt the brush glide through my thick hair, she was so much gentle with it then I had, so slow and calming I hardly felt anything. She was so caring for me, so...careful. I couldn't take it anymore and grabbed behind me and yanked the brush out of her hand and threw it on the ground, turned around to meet her eyes.
"I wasn't finished." She pouted. In one swift move I pulled her close to me and kissed her, it lasted a long moment before we pulled away. Levy's hooded eyes looked at me blushing and dazed.
"I've wanted to do all day." I said kissing her forehead, she purred into me then pulled me into another kiss, more deep and she pulled me to lay down on the pillows. Gasping for breath after she giggled.
"I've wanted to do that for days." She said with sparkles in her eyes.
"Actually for months." She added. I felt myself blushing deeply.
"Are you serious."
"Yeah Gajeel, I didn't even realize that I did till weeks ago but the feeling to being closer to you was always there. I have so much feeling for you."
I couldn't help myself but laugh out of happiness and pulled her closer to me.
"I can say for a fact that I have so much feeling for you too shrimp." I softly said brushing on her hair. "Now sleep, its late."
She relaxed against my touch and rested her head on my chest, her fabric was so nice and silky and her scent intoxicated me. I wrapped my arm around her waist and barricaded myself around her. Protecting this beautiful girl as long as I could till tomorrow.
