I entered the marketing office to attend to the phone call. I was a little nervous of who wanted to talk to me, it could be a business collaboration or the opposite (threats). As picked up the phone, I began by saying hello.

"Hello?"
"Hello? Is this Ms. Rieliza España?"

I can tell that the language is Korean. I am capable of speaking 4 languages: English, Filipino, Japanese, and Korean.

"Um... yes this is she. Who is it am I speaking to?"
"Ah yes, this is Kim Mika. I'm calling from the Hana Bank regarding your registration for your establishment of your café. I'm pleased to inform you that your application has been approved by the company and the bureau for foreign businesses"

(A/N: I don't know how the process of foreign business expansion works for Korea 😅 so this is purely out of imagination)

Hearing the news, I felt so happy that I finally reached out my business to other parts of the world. A few months ago, I submitted an online application in that bank for possible expansion of my business. Since it gained huge popularity in my country and it caught the attention of tourists, particularly Koreans, I thought it was right time to take it to the next step. So, I took the opportunity of opening it to the birthplace of K-Pop.

"Really?? Thank you so much Ms. Mika! I'm looking forward to offer of what I can provide for my global customers."
"Oh, you are most welcome Ms. España. I personally love your dishes, especially your baked goods. I believe it could bring contribution to allow other consumers to know more of our environment and your country."
"Oh? Have you been into my café before?" I asked Ms. Mika.
"Yes miss, I went to your country before  for my vacation and I came across your restaurant. It made me think that this business has huge potential. I even spread this to my co-workers and they were indeed, very curious of what you can offer."
"Ah I see, well if that's the case, I will make my specialties and best selling pastries as my gift for you and your co-workers for appreciating K-Muse's Sanctuary." I replied with a genuine smile.
"Oh, you don't have to Ms. España!" said Ms. Mika with a shocked tone.
"It's okay😊 I want to. Consider this as a welcome gift from me hehe."
"I'm honored, thank you Ms. España.😊 By the way, you speak really good Korean."
"You're welcome Ms. Mika. Oh, please, you can call me Eliza. And my Korean is not that perfect, but thank you hehe😊"
"Well, I must attend to other customers. Congratulations once again on your success."
"Thank you! I'll see you soon in Seoul."

I put down the phone and I jumped around in Joy. My manager and cousin, Flo, entered the office the moment I finished jumping. I froze and lowered my head in embarrassment. Flo giggled at my actions and approached me.

"I have a feeling you were able to achieve that goal."
"I did! Oh gosh, I can't believe this is happening. I honestly think that it's impossible."
"Well sis, you have the most popular themed café in the Philippines. There were so many positive reviews from Korean customers and they are dying to know when will there be a time to open a branch in their country."

I sighed realizing how far my business has come. Soon, this restaurant will be spread worldwide and more people will know about my country's delicacies and the k-pop themed desserts. But for now, I have to know my place and take baby steps.

"Hehehe, well, I have to set up my menu and pack for the trip. Ate Flo, you're in charge of this restaurant while I'm gone."
"You got it boss! I'm really proud of you little cuz." Flo said as she approached me to give me a hug. I hugged her back tightly.

Florinelle Alcaraz, also known as Flo, is my cousin from my mom's side. She and I were pretty close ever since I was little. When my parents and my sister were busy with work and school, she would always be in charge of babysitting me. Her parents were known owners of their family business for clothes. Flo wanted to follow their footsteps and she offered that if ever I start my dream café, she would be the manager and first employee. She is like my second older sister. She was also a good cook and a talented tailor. Also, she is older than me by 5 years, which made her the oldest among the three of us in the cousin line (My sister and I are 3 years apart, which made her and Flo, 2 years apart).

~~~Time Skip~~~
After closing my café, I arrived at my house and I was surprised with the confetti set by my parents and older sister.

"Welcome home anak! Congratulations on your success!" My mom joyfully.
"How did you know about that?!" I said surprised with a hint of happiness.
"Your uncle and aunt wouldn't shut up about the opportunity you got from Korea. Flo told this to them and shared it to us." My dad replied.
"I was supposed to be the one to break the news to you😅 hahaha."
"Whelp, be thankful that I left my photo studio early and we were able to make a party for you." My sister teasingly complained.
"Thank you guys so much!" My voice cracked while saying this.
"Awww, don't cry Riezy. We should be happy for this news." My sister said as she gave me a tight squeeze. My parents join in the hug.

As I calmed down, we gathered around the table and started eating dinner. We had Adobo, pancit, roast beef, and rice, along the with the drinks, water, soda, and iced tea. We shared our day and I told them that my flight to Korea will be 6 days from now. While eating, my sister called us to have picture and we posted it in our social medias. I posted mine on Instagram, while my sister shared it on her Facebook and Twitter, tagging my restaurant and my name. There were a lot of congratulatory messages from my followers and my family members abroad.

As I finished washing up, Gabby video called me on Skype and I answered her call.
"Hey girl!"
"'Sup Gab! It's great to see you again."
"Hehehe, heard that you are expanding your business! Congrats, You totally deserve it!"
"Thanks soul sis. I never expected that the company liked my café. The girl named Kim Mika said that she loved my restaurant."
"Hahaha, looks you have a lot of fans already. Are you excited?"
"Little bit nervous, but I can manage.😊"
"I think I know what you need, BTS songs party time?"
"You bet! What should we listen first?"
We played a lot of songs of BTS. As I said, that group is my one of my healers from all the tiredness I felt from work. Here are the songs we listened to:

After having a listening party, Gabby and I laughed and we felt exhausted.

"Hey Gabs, I think I should go to sleep already. I have to prepare the menu and prepare some clothes for the trip."
"Okie, be sure to rest well girl. Don't overwork yourself!"
"I know mom hahaha. Anyway, good night Gab."
"Good night soul sister! Borahae💜."
"Borahae💜."

As I ended the video call, I set my phone on the desk for charging and I went to sleep.

So far, Rieze got an opportunity of spreading her business to Korea as her first ever global branch. Don't worry, BTS will come at the succeeding chapters. Next chapter will be the time to showcase her other talent and possibly meet someone we all know.😉
