Chapter 28

Author's POV

After Arhaan's outburst on Manya he engaged himself in his work. On the other side Manya also inluged in her work. She was feeling hurt and scared at the same time. She didn't want to hurt anyone but what to do, when her past never leaves her. While working, she was crying. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to forget her pain and to run away from her problems.

Whole day passed like that with Arhaan's cold and harsh behavior towards her but she didn't said a thing to him. In evening when it was time for her to leave she went to Arhaan's cabin. She asked him could she go home now that her work was done. He nodded, not paying attention to her.

She left from there and mere a minute late Arhaan received a call from Arjun.

"Arhaan, can you please drop Manya home. I've an important work but I don't want to leave her alone. I don't want any risk. Please, for today can you drop her home?"

Arhaan didn't want to do that but said yes to him. He noticed Arjun's voice was tensed. But he removed the thought from his mind. He  took his car keys and left his cabin. He asked the receptionist about Manya. She told him that she was gone.

He came out of the building and noticed her sitting in the park infront of the building. He went to her and told her to come with him with in his cold voice.

She nodded and went with him to his car. He told her to sit down. She didn't say anything and sat in the car with him. He was driving rashly. Manya waa scared to see him like that but said nothing.

But after he speeded up his car more Manya got scared and clutched his arm in fear and told him to slow the speed. But he increased the speed and jerked her hand away.

She was getting more and more scared of him. She started trembling in fear and started crying.

"Please, Arhaan slow down the car." She said while crying. But he didn't listen to her. She cried and started trembling more. Arhaan looked at her and stopped the car. Her head was going to hit the dashboard but he held her arm tightly and pulled her towards him.

He come out of the car and opened the door of her side abd pulled her out harsly.

"Stop your acting. How do you just do that? You are a tricky girl. How can you take advantage of their love with your so called innocence? Now I know why your family abondoned you. You don't deserve anyone's love. You are staying with them and hiding the relationship with that man." Listening to his words Manya looked at him while tears flowed from her eyes continuously.

"How can you do that to your family? How can you hide the things from them?" He asked while holding her wrist tightly but Manya listened to him while crying but said nothing.

"Now you're acting as if you're so innocent. Don't give any answer to me. You don't care about them. They shower their love on you but you..." He was going to say something but stopped.

He took her hand and made her sit on the passenger seat again and took the driver seat and drove away. This time he didn't drive with speed. He stopped the car infront of Sehgal mansion and told her to get out of the car.

Manya opened the door of her seat and came out. Arhaan didn't look at her and immediately left from there. Manya looked at the mansion but didn't enter. She took steps back while looking at the mansion, her cheeks wet with her tears. She abruptly turned her back to the mansion and ran from there. After sometime running on the isolated road for sometime she stopped and got down on her knees while crying and sobbing.

"I didn't take advantage of anyone's love. I really love them. I don't want to hurt them. But I'm bad I can't gave them happiness." She was saying looking up the sky while sobbing loudly.

"Oh m my! See who's here. I don't have to go anywhere to cage you." Said someone from behind her.

When looked back she got scared looking at Aditya who was smirking and looking at her with lust. Manya abruptly stood up and was going to run when he held her hand . She was struggling to get out of her grip. But all went in vain when he put a cloth on her nose and she gone unconscious and he took her with him.

Arjun's POV

The whole day was very stressing for me. After yesterday's event. I was feeling restless. I wants to know the truth. I know my princess is hiding something from me. And I can't trust anyone that told me he is Manya's fiance. I know Manya was hiding something from us. She was scared and trembling when the man hugged her. So I decided that I would find about that man.

When I investigated about him with the help of one of my most trusted men I found everything about that bastard. He was her ex fiance who left her on her wedding day amd he was a womaniser.

But I want to know why has he come again. And why he was telling us that he is her fiance and why Manya supported him in his lie? I know she was in some pain. I felt it. And I came to know that he hurted her in the past in some way I can't describe.

H'll pay for it. I can't risk her life so I asked Arhaan to drop her home because I was busy finding the truth about that bastard. I know he is planning something big that's why he has come back in her life. I want to protect her anyhow.

I came home at half past nine and found everyone in the living room. I greeted mom and dad and kissed Yahaira and Amrita on their forehead. I was going to freshen up when mom asked me.

"Arjun, where is Manya? She didn't come with you?" I turned towards mom, shocked as well as worried.

"Mom, she didn't come back yet? I told Arhaan to drop her. I thought she came back and is in her room."

"No, Arjun beta. She didn't come. Call Arhaan and ask him." Mom said.

I dialled Arhaan's number and he didn't pick my call. Now I got worried. I told Mom that I'm going to bring Manya from Malhotra Mansion.

I reached there in the hope that probably she was there and I pressed the door bell. A servent open the door. I asked him about Arhaan. He told me to come in. I entered the living room and he went to call Arhaan. When Arhaan came he was in his night clothes already.

"Arjun what're you.." He was going to ask me something but I cut him midway.

"Where is Manya, Arhaan?" I asked him hurriedly.

He looked at me in confusion. "I dropped her at your mansion." He said and I felt my heart getting heavy.

"But she didn't reach home, Arhaan. I told you to please take care of her." I said, getting worried.

"Arjun, I drop her at your mansion and then I left from there." He said.

"But you should have at least waited for her to enter in."

"She's not a child, Arjun. She can take care of herself. She is mature. Why you always care for her like she is some delicate doll?" He Said in irritation and anger.

I looked at him, shocked at his behavior. He doesn't talk like that for anyone but why for Manya?

"She is my sister, Arhaan. Why're you talking about her like that? You know her condition." I said in anger.

"Oh come on, Arjun, she's not even your real sister. She's taking advantage of your love and affection. She hid the truth of her fiance from you and your family. Now also she would've gone with someone. You're worrying for no reason." He said.

"What rubbish you're speaking, Arhaan? " I asked angrily, in a loud voice. Listening my voice the whole family came to the living room and looked at us.

"What happened? Arjun? Why are you so tensed?" Asked Shobha aunty.

"Aunty, Manya's missing because of Arhaan. I told him to drop her home but she didn't reach yet."

"What?" They all exclaimed in unison.

"Arhaan you dropped her right? So where is she?" Asked Shobha aunty.

"I don't know, mom. I dropped her but I didn't know she went somewhere after reaching her home." He said.

"You know, Arhaan, if anything bad happened with her I won't forgive myself."

"You're overthinking, Arjun. She is gone somewhere by her will. She'll come herself. You can call her fiance. Who knows, may be she went to meet him." He said.

"He is not her fiance. Her life is in danger. Whole day I was searching information about him. He is taking advantage of our love for Manya. I don't why she supported him but I know that man has come back in her life to hurt her. And Now he would be successful in his plan because of me. I should've come to pick her up. She's in danger because of me." I said and hurriedly took my mobile and dialled ACP Abhinav's number who is a close friend of mine.

"Hello, Abhinav, I need your help." I told him everything about Manya. He said he's coming home in half and hour.

I hurriedly went out from Malhotra mansion and entered my car and left for home.
