Nagito had never seen a three leaf clover before meeting Hajime. The concept of never seeing something so mundane bothered him, but he never brought it up with anyone.

Hajime picked one for him while they were hanging out in a park.

Nagito was so touched by the gesture that he laminated the clover and turned it into a bookmark. (A/N: My grandmas used to give me dried flowers laminated in bookmarks; so i know for a fact that it's a real thing)
