As you all probably know, troll skin is a middle shade of gray. It is tougher than a human's and can withstand more. All trolls have the same skin tone except for rainbow drinkers who have a slightly lighter gray skin tone and can glow. The glow is commonly triggered by anger or intense emotions like love or fear, however a rainbow drinker can begin glowing without realizing. Racism is not a thing in troll culture.

Blood color is a very touchy topic in troll culture. The higher you are in blood color, the more respect you get, the lower you are, the less respect. Rust and bronze bloods get very little, to no respect on Alternia. My headcannon is the higher you are on the hemospectrum (blood scale) the warmer your natural body temperature is, so highbloods (indigo to fuschia bloods) rarely get sick. Lower to mid bloods get sick easier and more often by cold temperatures. This happens often however because Alternia is relatively quite cold. Trolls can choose to have heaters or air conditioners in their hives if they choose. Lower bloods are very common and live in constant fear of being culled by higher bloods. Whereas, there can only be two fuschia bloods alive on Alternia at the same time. When it's time for a new fuschia blood to be hatched the other kindly gives up their position and is culled.
