Levy's POV

I still can't believe that I'm kissing my mate and I only met him earlier this day. Must be fate. We pull apart as we look into each other's eyes. Gajeel's eyes are memorizing. He smiles as we hug. I feel Gajeel's grip tighten a bit. I look up to see him in...pain?! What is happening?

"Are you ok," I ask Gajeel as we kneel to the floor.

"What does it look like," he ask.

The first time I saw him he looked human. Now he looks different. His ears are sharper and his ruby red eyes are dark and his pupil are slits. I look up to see iron horns poking out of his raven hair. I see iron wings peak out from behind his back. I don't know what is happening...but all I can do is stay with him. I hum a song as I stay next to him.

Gajeel's POV

Fuck....my dragon horns and wings are growing...no!!! Why now? Does it have something ta do with my kissing my mate? Fuck....it hurts! But Shrimp's scent seams to be keeping me calmish...I listen to Shrimp hum as my horns and wings grow. I sniff in her scent as I keep relaxing. I nuzzle into the crook of her neck as she giggles and hugs me. Hm...this isn't so bad...hopefully this doesn't last too long. After some time the pain disappears completely. I breath in her scent as I pull away and look into her eyes. She looks back as me as she smiles.

"Glad you are fine. What happen? You now have iron horns and iron wings?"

"Ah...it looks like when I kiss my mate for the first time they grow," I tell Shrimp. "Didn't know this would happen."

"That's alright. Want to do a test run with your wings," Lev ask me.

"Sure. Ya wanna join me," I ask her.

"I thought you would never ask," she says as we leave my cabin to get the test flight done and over with.

Levy's POV

We stand in the open field behind Gajeel's cabin. I look around and smile as the wind blow gently across the woods.

"Ya ready," Gajeel ask me.

"Yup!"

He smiles as he wraps his arms around my waist as we lift off and fly in the sky. I wrap my legs around his torso and put my arms around his neck. I smile as we wind blows through my blue hair as we fly around. I don't know how long we were in the sky, but I had so much fun. I smile and laugh in excitement as we land in a small clearing in the woods.

"That was fun," I say as I look at Gajeel.

"Yeah. Too bad yer two friends finally realized yer not with 'em. Ya better go ya 'em. Ya can come back and visit me later. I'll know when ya step inside of the forest," Gajeel tells me.

"Alright. I'll come back later tonight. Sounds good," I ask.

"Sounds perfect. See ya later Shrimp," he says as he disappear after touching a tree.

I sigh as I walk back to Jet and Droy. I walk to them as they keep calling my name.

"Calm down. I'm fine," I tell them as they come over to me. "I found the library, but I don't think it would be wise to go there. It is getting late. We can go there tomorrow," I tell them as we all start to walk back to the town.

I can't get my mind off of Gajeel as we exit the woods. I'm going to see him later tonight...but I hope he will be fine until I can get back with him. We get to the hotel as we eat dinner, since it was around that time. Wow...time flies by when you are having fun with your mate. I eat as we talk about the job. Afterwards we head to our room for the night. I wait until they are asleep. I quickly and quietly sneak out of the hotel and head for the woods.

Gajeel's POV

I wait at the edge of the woods for Shrimp to come back. I can't wait ta be with her. Maybe we can go to the library. I smell her scent as she gets closer. I am standing next to a tree as she spots me and wave as she jogs over to me.

"Hey Gaje! What are we going to do," Lev ask me as she reach me.

"Ya will see Shrimp," I tells her as I grab her hand.

I touch the tree as we zoom off towards the my place first. Then to the library after we talk.
