Levy's POV

I wait for Jet and Droy at the train station. Lucy came and told me what happen with the Job Request. I wasn't surprise that the Iron Demon want to be alone...but I was surprise to hear that she and Nastu are mates. Yes...I have heard about Mates and what they stand for. If you don't know...they are like soulmates. There. Jet and Droy comes over as I smile at them.

"Sorry we are late," they tell me.

"That's alright," I tell them as we head onto the train.

I sit down as they sit across from me.

"It will take us 3 hours to get to the town. Then we should find the client and ask them about the book, after we drop our bags off at the hotel. And if we have time we should start our search," I say as they nod their head in agreement.

I pull a book out and start to read.

Gajeel's POV

I get up as I look around my little cabin. I grab a piece of Iron as I leave my place. I touch the tree next to my cabin as I start to travel to look for Buttercup. Yes...I can travel through the trees. And Buttercup is a She-Wolf that I found abandoned in a field of buttercups and I took her in and raid her. That happen 2 years ago. I walk through the forest as I near her den.

"Buttercup! Ya there," I call as I see her head pokes out.

"Of Course I am Gaje," she tells me as she paddles over to me.

"How is yer life?"

"Good. Found yer mate yet?"

"Not yet. Hopefully soon," I tell her as she nods her head.

I look up to the sky as I ponder how I will meet my mate...maybe I will never meet her...

Levy's POV

We get off of the train as we head to the Hotel. We got two rooms. I am getting my own and Jet are Droy are sharing one. I place my bag on my bed and keep my satchel with me. I exit my room to see Jet and Droy waiting for me.

"You ready to go," I ask them as they nod their head yes.

I smile as we head off to look for our client. We talk to her as she explains what we have to do.

"You need to find a book at the old library. The title is Demon. It is suppose to hold information that we can destroy the Iron Demon in the woods. As long as you don't call out for him, you should be fine. Here is a map to the library. It's about 15 minutes into the forest."

"Alright. Since it is around lunchtime we should get something to eat then head and lookf or the book," I say.

"Great idea Levy," Jet congrats me.

"Yeah. We should leave now. Thank you for your time," Droy tells our client as we leave.

We head to a cafe to get something to eat. We talk about the book. She handed us a picture as we look it over.

"It seams to be in a different language. Luckily, I know this language and the title does mean Demon," I tell Jet and Droy. "So it mush be old, so keep an eye out."

"Alright," they say as we head out.

10 minutes after walking, Jet and Droy are fighting about who will find the book first. I turn my head and is about to tell them to stop when, I trip and start to tumble down a slope. They haven't notice, because they are too focus into fighting.

Gajeel's POV

As Buttercup and I played, we hear the yelp of someone as their scent come closer to us. Like she is rolling down the hill. I walk over to it as a blue hair blunt falls out, she crash into my as we land onto the ground.

"Ow...that hurt," she mutters as she sits up and rubs her head.

I just watch her memorized by her looks...oh my...my mate have knocked me off my feet already. She opens her hazel eyes as we look at each other.

Levy's POV

After falling down the hill, I land on a hard chest as he falls backwards. I sit up and rub my head as I slowly open my eyes up. My eyes connect with his ruby red eyes. We look into each other eyes for what seams like eternity.

"H-hi," I stutter out.

"H-hello to ya too," he says.

I see a light pink blush spread across his cheeks. The wolf walks up as she circles me, like she is inspecting me. I sit there, not sure what to do. His blush seams to darken.

"Stop is Buttercup," he says.

The wolf, Buttercup looks at him like she is talking to him.

"Let's act civil," he tells her as he stands up and walks over to me. "My name is Gajeel Redfox."

He holds his hand down as I take it as he helps me up.

"Levy McGarden," I tell him as we shake hands.

"So what brings ya into these woods," Gajeel ask me.

"Me and my two teammates are looking for the old library that the town owns 15 minutes into the woods."

"Ah. So ya three are wizards. What magic do ya use?"

"Solid Script Magic. Jet us High Speed and Droy use Plant Magic," I tell him.

Buttercup seams to be telling Gajeel something.

"No. It's not nice," he tells her.

"To do what," I ask curious.

"Ah...well...Buttercup wants to sniff ya ta see if ya are dating anyone," Gajeel tells me.

"I assure you that I'm not dating anyone...thought Jet and Droy have a crush on me and I have told them many times that I think of them as big brothers. I have also rejected them both when they asked me out," I tell them.

Buttercup seam to tell Gajeel something as he sigh.

"Fine. If that will make ya stop bothering us," he tells Buttercup. "But ya hafta leave. It might take some time."

Buttercup nods as she leaves.

"What was that about," I ask him.

"Ah....well....Ya see...yer my mate..."

"Oh...care to explain?"
