Chapter 1
Bella's POV
I woke up the next day with a headache and scratchy throat. Guess partying all night would do that, but for some reason I couldn't help but think something entirely different happened.
I sat up from my bed, yawning and rubbing my eyes. I felt like absolute crap, but at the same time don't I always? I don't know what possess me to party all the time, but I do and suffer the aftermath.
I got up from my bed and walked to the kitchen to find something for a quick breakfast. Most of everything is packed away into boxes and I couldn't wait to leave that town and start my new job.
After I eat and get ready the man who will be helping me move all of my things shows up. We both loaded everything into the moving truck, in absolute awkward silence I must add.
Then we were on our merryway to the great state of New York, until he ran out of gas, so we pulled into the nearest gas station. I decided it was the perfect time to get some snacks and a water.
I walked into the store, the bell ringing, making sure the employees acknowledge my exsistence. I smiled and waved at the boy, looking not much younger than me, who was behind the counter.
I immediately walked back to the slushy machine in the back of the store and start mixing all the flavors together, until I heard a scream. I stopped my process of making my delicious, icy beverage and put the large cup onto the counter next to the machine. I walked silently through the isles, trying to get out of here as soon as possible because I started to get freaked out. It was silent and not even a roar of an engine was heard. I walked my way up to the front counter only to see the friendly boy draped across the counter, in his own blood.
Third Person
"I hate doing this to her," he sighed.
"I know, but your keeping her safe, yeah? And that's the most important thing, wouldn't you agree?" The other man, Nathaniel, said, power in his voice.
When he didn't answer Nathaniel asked again with more force, "wouldn't you agree?"
"Yes," He reply shortly. He look at any where but the powerful man in front of him, knowing his glare is set on him.
"Good," Nathaniel responded, back to his normal, cheerful voice. "Because we wouldn't want what happened last time to happen again, right?"
His voice was cheerful and his face had a nuetral expression, but he'd seen under all of it. Nathaniel wasn't someone he wanted to cross again and he knew that, using it to his advantage.
"Right," he agreed once more. When in fact he wanted to do it again, because this time he knew the flaws and strengths in his plan. And she was the strength in his plan.

"I don't know Afriel," he said for the thousandth time that day.
"Yeah, but listen Gav-" Afriel started.
"Wait!" He command. "I hear something."
"Gavreel, it's Bella hurry quick!" a voice he's never heard said over the angel radio.
"What is it?" Afriel asked Gavreel, in a worried tone.
"Anna," Gavreel said, getting up from his chair. "She's in trouble."
"You mean Annabelle?" he inquires. "I'll come with."

When they flashed to Anna's exact location they appeared at some kind of store. They casually walked in to see a boy dead across the counter. This brought no expression or reaction from them.
They split up, taking opposite sides of the place. Walking down the rows, Gavreel looked around to see so many different varieties of food, it was weird to him to think people actually have to eat that unnatural food.
"Hey! Over here!" He heard Afriel shout then a loud bang followed. He snapped out of his random, yet strange thought and walk over to him. He saw Gavreel and walked back into a room, the door blown off it's hinges.
Gavreel followed him into the room to see Anna in the corner, fear in her eyes as she stared at the two men. Gavreel had gotten used to this look in her eyes when she saw him, but it still didn't feel good.
"Please don't hurt me," she cried. "Don't do it again."
She buried her head in her hands. Gavreel looked at Afriel for some kind of guidance but he only nodded his head towards her.
He sighed and walked over to her, crouching down so he was eye level with her.
"We're not going to hurt you," he assured her.
"Oh and you would tell me if you were," she shouted, looking directly at him, but he showed no emotion.
"No, probably not," he say, honestly. He looked at Afriel, who has a thoughtful look on his face and then Anna whose shoulders were shaking and sniffled. "Hey, look at me."
She looks up and as soon as she does he pressed his fingers to her head, making her unconscious.
"Dude," Afriel shouted. "You can't knock her out every time something bad happens to her and make her think she's been partying the whole time. She'll have to face the reality someday and your just delaying the inevitable."
"She'll face it," Gavreel responded calmly. "Tomorrow."
"What?" Afriel said, surprised by his words. "You mean your going to take her there? Now?"
"Yes," he said simply. "I can not just wait for another bad thing to happen again."
"Well, alright then. Lets go," Afriel said, a smile appearing on his face.
"Not you," He correct and Afriel's smile dropped.
"Why not? I'm your most loyal follower," he begged.
"Afriel," He said, sternly. "Your not my follower. I don't have any because when I go up against him I don't want anyone to get hurt. It's me and him, that's it."
"That's not what he said," he replied.
"Who?" Gavreel asked.
"Nathaniel, of course," he told him. "He'll never trust you the same again, Gavreel. Or me for that matter. We've messed up bad this time and he's getting an army ready. You know what that means right?"
"War," Gavreel answered, his voice deeper. "It means war, all because of this one little human."
He looked at her passed out state, leaning against the wall in the corner. "Then, it that case you definitely won't be joining us," Gavreel said.
Afriel looked as if he was about to protest, then Gavreel said, "get them ready. All of them and I'll call if there's any trouble."
He gave me a smirk saying, "you got it boss." Then he flashed out.
He look at her delicate, small figure, "you have no idea what's to come. But you will and I'll watch over you through the whole thing."
Then they both disappeared from the building into another in a city, called Greyville, where she will finally learn the truth.
