"Good Lord, one day. I just wanted one day of a drama-free, Arthur-free family get-together. Was that so much to ask?"

"Cheveyo!"

"What's wrong with Arthur?"

Cheveyo slowly turned to Alfred, with a dead look in his eyes.

"What's wrong with Arthur?"

"Hey now," Ayiana put a hand on her husband's shoulder, telling him to calm down. She then looked at the twins. "Boys, go to your room for a while. Daddy and I need to talk privately."

The twins looked at each other with concern. Matthew looked at his dad to ask him if everything's going to be alright, but his question was answered just by looking at his fuming face.

He looked at his mother. "Yes, mama." and took Alfred's hand and lead him to their bedroom.

Alfred was in bed, scared and confused at what's happening. Every once in a while, his parents would raise their voice ever so slightly at each other, then lower it down after a sentence or two.

He pulled up the covers over his whole body. Just what exactly did Arthur do wrong? Wasn't it because of him that the car stopped in the first place?

Arthur was next to Alfred, telling him stories and funny jokes. In response, Alfred was giggling.

"Arthur couldn't help but chuckle at Alfred's reactions. He spoke a little louder.

"Then the dog said-"

Alfred suddenly put his hand on Arthur's lips. "Shh, Arthur, daddy's driving!"

"Al-"

The car suddenly sped up and curved a little. Then Alfred heard his mother yell out.

"Honey, car!"

Arthur jolted up at that and went in front of the car quicker than Cheveyo can step on the brakes.

The two were only two inches away from collision.

As Matthew and his parents where panting heavily, reflecting back on what just happened and why and how it even happened in the first place, Alfred had the look of happiness and relief on his face.

"Thanks, Artie!" He yelled out.

Arthur heard and turned to him, smiling.

"I'm only doing my job, Alf-"

"Oh my maple! Al, please, just stop it already."

Alfred only whined sadly in embarrassment.
