Knock, knock!

"Coming!~"

The sound of footsteps got slowly got louder and quicker before the door swung open to reveal a mother with her arms out; ready to greet her twins with a hug.

"Matthew, Alfred, welcome ho-"

She paused as noticed Alfred's eyes were red and watery.

"Alfred, dear, what happened? Why are you crying?"

He only sniffed and wiped his eyes with his arms in response.

Matthew answered for him. "Our classmates kept picking on him because he wouldn't keep quiet about "Arthur"."

"What?" A look of shock stayed on her face for a while before she turned back to Alfred and sighed sadly.

"Oh, Alfred..." She bent down on one knee and held out her arms for a hug. "Come here."

Alfred didn't hesitate and reached for his mother's reassuring warmth.

After a while, she slowly got up

Gripping onto his mother's apron tight, he nodded and they walked inside with Matthew and Arthur right behind them.

It was dinner. Arthur leaned against a wall as Ayiana and her children were having dinner.

The sound of the door unlocking was heard and in came their father.

"Daddy! You're home!" Matthew exclaimed happily and got off his chair and gave his dad a big hug.

Cheveyo chuckled and ruffled his son's hair. "Hey there, Alfie!"

Matthew looked up at his dad, a little upset. "Daddy, I'm Matthew!"

"Oh, I'm sorry Matthew." Cheveyo sweatdropped.

Ayiana giggled. "Welcome home, honey. Why don't you have some dinner before going to bed?"

"Yes, honey." With that, Cheveyo got some food and sat down next to Alfred. He noticed that Alfred has been unusually quiet and was just sitting there looking down at his food, eating slowly.

"So. Al, how was school?"

He kept his head down and remained quiet.

Arthur walked up behind him and put his hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"Al... it's not polite to not answer someone when asked a question. Did something happen?"

Ayiana sighed. "Matthew, Alfred, come on, let's get ready for bed."

"Yes, mama." Matthew said.

===

Ayiana was done with Matthew and was currently tucking Alfred.

"Mommy, is there something wrong with me?"

That caught her off guard for a moment and her eyes widened in surprise. "Wh-What?"

"Why is it that I'm the only one who can see him?"

Ayiana knew who "he" was. "... Oh Alfie..." she sighed. "You know, you're still a child. Having imaginary friends at your age is normal-"

"HE'S REAL! HE'S REAL! WHY CAN'T YOU GUYS SEE HIM?!"

"Alfred, dear, please, keep your voice dow-"

Her heart sunk when Alfred began sobbing.

Her heart sunk a little more when she realized that there was nothing she could do but kiss her son on his forehead in comfort.

Standing by the doorway, Arthur watched silently with a pained and guilty look on his face.

===

"He was picked again at school, wasn't he?"

"I'm just... I'm just glad that "Arthur" doesn't seem to be a bad influence on our son."

"So far."

"Cheveyo!" She punched his upper arm lightly.

In response, he flinched in pain. "Ow!" He rubbed the punched arm and looked over at his wife; her head hung low. He reached out and hugged her. "Okay, okay, my apologies, honey. I didn't mean to scare you. I was just kidding."

He patted her back comfortingly. Yet that did little to ease her motherly worries. She showed this by crying silently onto his shoulder.
