Daniella's POV

The next morning I woke up bright and early, unluckily. I didn't mind waking up early normally but last night I was really tired. Unfortunately hospital rules, no outside foods or drinks, no coffee for me.

For breakfast my nurse brought me apple sauce and stale crackers. Even so I hate apple sauce I politely accepted it. I ate the crackers though, as stiff as bricks they were hard to chew. Luckily I got the nurse while she was walking past my room. I asked for a water or any kind of drink. She nodded and came back with a bottle of water. I thanked her and she returned to her other patients.

Once I completely finished my breakfast I clicked on the TV and watched the news, for some odd reason.. Nothing really exciting was happening, I mean the most exciting thing in there was that a cat was stuck in a tree. Halfway through the show Rebecca came back to visit me.

"Hi Becky!" I exclaim.

"Hey," she greets me back in a quick, quiet tone, biting her lip like she always does when she is nervous.

"Why are you biting your lip like that? Why are you nervous?" I question.

She quickly takes a seat in the chair beside my bed,"I have something to confess and I'm not really sure how to tell you."

"O-Okay well just tell me, come on, I'm you best friend!" I assure her.

"I-I kindamayhavesortakissedConnor."

"Wait what did you just say?" I ask utterly confused.

"See! I knew you would be mad at me!" she shouts.

"No I'm not mad! I just couldn't understand a word you said!" I laugh.

"Oh, um, I-I kissed a boy..." she looks at the ground.

"Wait your cheating on Sawyer?!" I whisper.

"N-No not exactly. I-I kissed a boy, and that boy was Connor.."

"Oh.." I say unable to speak.

For some reason my stomach felt like it went into my throat. I felt a little queasy and little light headed.

"Dani, your pale are you okay?" she concerns.

"I-I'm fine." I stumble to get up.

Rebecca moves aside as I walk past her.

"Where are you going?!" she exclaims.

Without responding I continue my way to the bathrooms. Once there I burst into a stall and lean over the toilet.

Rebecca's POV

I follow Daniella as she heads for the restrooms. She locks herself in a stall and I stand outside and wait for her.

I knock on the stall and ask,"Are you okay?"

I get no response so I stand there silent. A minute or two later she come out with a yellowish stain on her hospital dress right below her neckline.

"Did you just throw up?!"

"Um, yeah.." she walks to the sink and washes her hands and face.

"But so this whole Connor thing, it's true?" she turns to me with a worried look.

"Yeah, does it bother you?" I ask possibly more worried than her.

"Not really, I mean your not going out are you?" she laughs it off.

"No, I'm single." I reply.

"Single? What about Sawyer?" she asks confused.

"H-He um," I look down,"Broke up with me."

She walks over to me and gives me a hug. I hug her back and I can feel tears forming in my eyes.
