I need to sit down and think. What the hell is happening in my life?

I was human until I met Damian. I became some sort of key thing. I got a mark on my arm. I saw a blue glowing orb. I got a hole in my side. I grew wings. I'm supposedly an angel. I have a stalker demon named Cezar. Daphinie is a super creepy demon. Devin is my demon brother. Damian is my guardian angel and boyfriend. Diego isn't real. I learned I could dance. Natasha was pulled into this randomly. Thalia got engaged. Thalias wedding is coming up fast. I'm not going to go to college or university because angel stuff is too important and... right now is one of the last times I'll get to see my friends.

I know I've missed some things, and none of that's in order, but whatever. I drive off to the studio where we decided to record one last song and say our good byes. 

I sigh and go into the studio where all my friends are waiting. I instantly begin to tear up.

"I'll miss you guys." I whisper. They all come up and hug me.

"Yeah, we'll miss you too Ivy." Selena says already crying.

"We'll email you a million times a day." Anna promises.

"Don't make promises you can't keep." I sigh. 

"Let's record one last song... a fun song... this song is just for you Ivy. How 'bout we do Hasta La Vista, you know, they play it in Camp Rock and in since Ivy loves movies it is like a good bye song and a fun song." Chris suggests.

"That's a good idea." I nod smiling. We all set up mics and our instruments and begin. I smile into the mic and I do tear up a bit. We make an ending video to our song.

"So, hey all you viewers!" Bryan says into the camera.

"We are all heading to... university!" Anna says, pausing for effect.

"So we won't be making videos here... I mean sure we will, once in a blue moon when we all get together." Chris says. 

"We are going to miss all of you guys!" Selena says.

"You are all amazing! And I did tear up during the song because I'm so sad to see my friends go... Chris picked that song just for me! It was a good bye through music." I say.

"Good bye!" We all chorus. 

Bryan goes off into making the video and we all patiently wait. After a long while of him making it and all us talking... and playing Flappy Bird on our phones... Bryan calls us over to watch. 

Throughout the video Bryan put photos of us with our singing video. We all laugh at some of them we watch our ending before uploading it and finally we all stand and look at each other. We walk outside and Chris locks up.

"So, this is good bye then." I sigh.

"Yeah." Bryan nods. Tear begin to slip and I cry silently. 

"Oh, baby, don't cry, now I'm gonna cry." Selena says, going into tears. 

"Okay, I'm going to be brave and be the first to go." Bryan says. I look at Bryan before giving him a huge bear hug.

"Good bye Bryan." I say. He hugs every one else before hopping in his car and pulling away with all of us waving. 

"Me next." Anna says.

"Good bye Annabeth." I say, giving her a bear hug. She is crying too.

"Bye Ivy." Anna whispers before hugging Chris and Selena and leaving. 

"Our turn." Chris says giving me a small sad smile. I run at Chris giving him the biggest bear hug I could muster up.

"Good bye Christopher." I say. I let go of Chris then hug Selena.

"Bye Ivy." Chris whispers. 

"Good bye Selena." I say giving her a hug. They leave with their good byes to leave me alone. I cry harder before driving to the Evans. I wipe away my tears before walking into the Evans.

"You okay Ivy?" Devin asks softly.

"No." I say bursting into tears again and smothering Devin in a hug. 

"Hey, it's okay you'll see them again." Devin says.

"What if I don't? What if I die in the battle? Or one of them gets hurt?" I ask.

"Then don't say what if." Devin says. I cry into his shirt until I hear Damian. I run to Damian and cuddle into his arms. He sets me on the couch and I mold myself into him while my crying continues.

"It's okay Ivy." Damian whispers, stroking my hair. 

Slowly I drift off into sleep.

"IVY! C'mon! This is the last dress fitting before the wedding!" Thalia says.

"I'm coming." I exclaim. I run downstairs where the Evans are all giggling or full out laughing at me. 

I'm still sad about my friends, and that they had to leave so soon, I mean, it's still summer! Thalia, Hazel and Ellie are all waiting for me as I pull my heels on. Yes, maybe I felt like dressing up today. 

"Okay! Ready." I say.

"Finally." Thalia drawls.

"Shut up." I say giving her a little smack on the head before strutting outside into the warm summer air. 

I love summer.

"Oh my God, 

I feel it in the air,

telephone wires above all sizzling like a snare!

Honey, I'm on fire,

I feel it every where,

nothing scares me any more!

summertime sadness.

I just wanted you to know,

that baby you the best." I sing as I skip to the car. 

"You're so weird." Thalia says as she follows me outside. 

"What's your explanation for what you're wearing today?" Hazel asks.

"Um... uh... don't let Damian or Devin give me a full over look." I whisper.

"You really think he'd make you change?" Hazel asks.

"Yeah." I nod. I think Damian heard us with his angelic hearing because he comes outside and looks over me head to toe.

"Ivy, do you really want boys staring?" Damian asks. 

"What's Ivy wearing?" Devin asks.

"NO! AH!" I yelp.

"Well, I wanna watch this." Thalia smirks.

"No! Thalia let's go now!" I urge. 

"Nuh, uh, sista!" Thalia says. Currently I'm wearing a loose hot pink crop top with only a sports bra underneath and of course Devin and Damian will tell me to change. But it's sooooooooooo damn hot outside. My shorts are normal... enough... sure they're short but they aren't super short, like butt shorts... they are more like almost-butt shorts. 

Devin comes out looks over me once then gives me a very disaproving look.

"Ivy. Change." Devin orders.

"NOOO! IT'S TOO HOT OUT! I'LL DIE WITH A HEAT STROKE!" I scream before jumping into Thalias car and locking all the doors. Luckily, Ellie, Hazel and Thalia had all gotten in and left my door open so they could hear my... exchange of words... with Devin and Damian. 

Thalia rolls her eyes and begins to drive away. We come up to the store and we all rush inside to put our dresses on. I smile at mine. It fits perfectly now! Like perfectly perfect! I squeal looking at Thalia who looks like a queen!

Her wedding is in ONE WEEK! Can you believe it! Like OH MY GOD!

After the fitting we all rush out for some shopping!

I guess Damian was right, there are like a million boys staring... I'm just glad Thalia gave me the liquid stuff that hides your wings. 

I think I bought about a million gazillion things 'cause woah, I've got... fourteen bags. Ellie has the least bags, with five. Hazel has the most, with seventeen. Thalia and me keep switching places for second. 

"What do you girls think the boys will say when we get home with all these bags?" Hazel asks as we walk into The Body Shop.

"Probably just stare open mouthed." Ellie says.

"Probably." I laugh. We finish up with The Body Shop before getting some ice cream and leaving the mall for home.

"Home. Home. Home sweet home." I sing as I skip inside. I'm in a super good mood. Maybe a little hyper even.

"You're not at home." Thalia points out. Walking inside behind be. 

"Home. Home. Home sweet home." I sing again ignoring Thalia. 

"Ivy, you're at my house. You aren't home." Hazel sighs.

"Damians home. Damians home. Damians home sweet Damians home." I sing. Thalia face palms herself while I skip around the living room chanting it. 

"Ivy! Stooop!" Devin says walking into the room.

"Nooo!" I say happily before dropping my bags onto the couch and running into the dance room.

"IT'S GOING DOWN! I'M YELLING TIMBER! YOU BETTER MOVE! YOU BETTER DANCE!" I scream at the top of my lungs and dancing as though I'm at a dance club or something.

"Oh... she's hyper... although she's acting like she's high or something." Thalia says. 

"Sooo, I wanna gooo swiiimmiiing and I wanna dance!" I drawl. I skip to the backyard and jump into the pool with my clothes on. 

"Ivy, you're so stupid." Thalia says coming to the edge of the pool. I splash her a bit and she gasps, pretending to be offended.

"Oh you're in for it Ivy!" Thalia exclaims. She jumps into the pool and swims after me. We go to the shallow end and start splashing each other like we are at war when other people jump in the water. I blink a few times before Devin comes up in front of me and spits water at my face.

"EWWWW!" I scream, dunking myself under, only to meet up with Damian. I give him a kiss before resurfacing. 

"Lil' sis, no PDA, gosh." Devin scolds. I stick my tongue out at him and we play in the water for a while.

"Thalia, your wedding is coming up soon!" I say in a sing song voice as I float peacfully around the pool on a donut shaped floaty. 

"I know Ivy." Thalia says rolling her eyes.

"Is my makeup all over my face?" I ask.

"No." Thalia answers.

"Dang... I was gonna be a monster." I sigh. Thalia laughs a bit before tipping me into the water, only to start another splashing war. 

"Time to get out Ivy." Devin says. I groan but get out and allow Devin to wrap a towel around me. I go and sit with Damian.

All is peaceful... for now.

Okay... next chapter will be semi boring semi exciting! Then we get into really exciting chapters! Wow... this book is coming closer and closer to the end!
