The Important Information;There's just 30 odd weeks until your 40 weeks and hopefully the baby would have already been born! The human body is an amazing thing and is now adjusting and making changes for your pregnancy, so people might be able to see changes, although some people might not be able to see these changes. Your boobs will increase in size due to the milk being created, this is one of the many signs of pregnancy. Also, your baby bump might be visible. Your baby is developing quickly, for example the eye colour of the baby has now been chosen now too. Brown tends to be the stronger colour! Also baby will be creating unco-ordinated movements and it can now be considered a 'little person' which is good! In terms of length and weight, it should be about 3/4cm long and will weigh between 3-5grams, so there's nothing much there!

Tuesday 16th December 2014 (10 weeks, 5 days)

Jess' POV

"JESSSSSS!" I heard Lexi scream through the flat.

I dropped the cloth I was using to wipe the sides down and rushed into Lexi's room.

"Lex are you okay? Is the baby?" I said placing a hand on my heart, which was beating much faster than it should do.

I looked up to Lexi standing in her underwear in the full length mirror.

"Yes, the baby and I are fine" she smiled. "But look at my boobs" she moaned as she turned around.

"There's nothing wrong with them Lex" I giggled.

"What about now?" She pouted folding her arms across her body, her boobs popped out a little bit.

"They are falling out" she groaned. "Have you even seen my stomach?" She frowned. Rubbing her hands over a small bump that was forming.

"We can get you some new clothes whilst we are out with the girls later" I suggested.

"But I'm fat!" Lexi pouted again.

"Your pregnant, not fat" I corrected her.

"I know but is it visible?" She asked.

"No, but would you like one of Barclay's shirts?" I offered.

Lexi nodded. "Please, I will need to pick some up, but after I tell everyone else when it gets noticeable"

"You've got time Lex, your only 10 weeks" I smiled, leaning against the doorframe.

"I know but I just feel so blugh" she said throwing herself onto her bed.

"Your such a diva" I joked.

"And?" She giggled. "I'm pregnant"

"Your pregnant, not an invalid. Hurry up and put some clothes on, we are meeting the girls in an hour" I laughed before leaving the room.

Alexie's POV

"Ready" I called as I grabbed my phone from my desk.

"Finally" Jess laughed as we both left the flat. It was nice to get out as I haven't really been out much since the scan. Seeing James happy made it even harder and I knew I just had to go with my plan. The baby is 'Jason's' and he doesn't want anything to do with it.

"Can't believe it's nearly Christmas!" Jess chirped as she pointed to all the Christmas decorations on the street.

"I know, it's mad, it's gone so quick" I added, shoving my hands in my pockets to keep them warm.

"I don't know what to get Barclay" she sighed.

"I don't know, I usually make James something, it's a bit more special" I added.

"Like what?"

"I give him scrapbooks and stuff" I smiled.

"That's actually a good idea, especially as Barc and I have been together for 4 years on 23rd" Jess beamed.

Bloody hell, 4 years. I don't know if I could do it to be fair.

"How did you get together?" I asked.

"Barclay and I met at the ice rink, I was there with my sister and he was there with his family, I bumped straight into the back of him and fell over, he turned around and apologised and he asked me to skate with him. We got chatting and we've been together ever since" Jess smiled from ear to ear.

"Oh and he delayed asking me out until the 23rd because" she started laughing.

"What? Until what?" I eagerly replied.

"He, he wrote down what he wanted for Christmas" she continued laughed.

"Oh Jess" I started laughing too.

"He said he wanted me as an early Christmas present and so he could celebrate Christmas for 4 days instead of 3" she laughed even hard.

"4 days?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Our anniversary, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day" she beamed.

"Oh god, that's cringy" I laughed.

"Cringy but cute right?" She asked.

"Yeah" I replied "I never knew Barc was so cute"

"Yeah, I'm so lucky to have him" I added.

"Your lucky to have James, your going to have to tell him one day" Jess said quietly and I looked at her.

"Lex, he's your best friend and vice versa. The day Barclay and I can start a family we will, it's a great gift" Jess continued. "Many guys would just get up and leave, even best friends. But the baby is half yours and half his. Half of you, half of him, your lucky he's your support system"

"I know, but I can barely look after Bradley and he's not even mine"

"Tom was in the same boat, he found out and was shocked, but he vowed to make it work, and look how happy he is with Bradley" Jess smiled.

"I know, but Chelsea's older than me, and I can't risk my friendship with James"

"He won't leave Lexi, you need to understand that. Barclay always tells me James is going on about you, telling them everything about you" she added.

"I don't have to tell him" I said sternly.

"He's not stupid Lex, he will work it out"

"He will only find out if he knows, your the only one who knows it's James" I spat back. "Keep it that way"

"Fine" Jess mumbled as she indicated the bus to stop.

I felt horrible, I had just snapped at my best friend. Bloody pregnancy mood swings.

When we reached town, we headed for our favourite little cafe to meet with the girls; Meli, Brooke, Faye & Chelsea as well as Bradley.

Faye stood up and ran over to us.

"Oh god Lexi, we thought you were dead!" She said dramatically as she threw her arms around me.

"No, just poorly" I laughed.

"We've missed you" Brooke smiled.

"Glad your better" Meli beamed.

"Thank you, and goodness, how big have you got?" I cooed into Bradley's pram.

"He's getting big isn't he Lex? He's nearly 5 months old" Chelsea beamed proudly.

Oh, that could be me. Me with a baby at a café. With my own son or daughter just lying there, kicking and waving their little hands and feet about.

Jess looked up at me and quickly changed the subject.

"So, what's the plan?" She spoke loudly. Silencing the group.

"I need to get some sexy underwear for Tom" Chelsea spoke up. "I was pregnant last Christmas and felt so unsexy" she added.

I couldn't feel more unsexy right now if I tried.

The girls chorused with oohs.

"Yeah that sounds like a plan" Brooke added. "I need to get some too"

"Make that 3" Meli smiled raising her hand.

"It's yours and Barclay's anniversary next week so you need some too" Chelsea pointed to Jess who slowly raised her hand.

"Oh and there's no escape for you Lex" Brooke called out.

"Who am I escaping from?"

"James" Meli called out.

"Nothing's happening" I defended myself.

"Sure" Faye added in her think Irish accent.

"I'm 100% certain" I smiled.

"We will go there last, we have other things to get first" Jess spoke.

After hitting a few shops and grabbing the essentials. Including a few new tshirts in bigger sizes.

"Let's go to costa" Brooke called out. Everyone agreed. Then Bradley began screaming.

"Oh god, scrap that idea girls, I need to take him to Tom" Chelsea frowned a little bit.

"I'll take him" I blurted out.

"Are you sure?" Chelsea asked. I could see Jess looking at me.

"Yeah I'm sure, I'm seeing James anyway" I lied.

"Oh thank you sweetheart" Chelsea beamed as she pulled me into a hug.

"More than welcome" I smiled back as she handed me Bradley's pram.

I waved the girls off and began walking in the opposite direction.

As I began pushing the pram along the high street. It felt weird, pushing a pram knowing I was pregnant. I couldn't image doing this myself.

I was daydreaming again. All this pregnancy stuff was doing my head in. It was a constant thought that I couldn't shake off.

I'd just missed the bus and decided the walk would do me good. I was thinking about how I could tell everyone I'm pregnant. I'm going to have to lie to everyone. Tell them about Jason.

I then felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned my head to see James smiling. He removed his head phones from his ears.

"Hey Lex, how come you have Brad?" He asked.

"Chelsea needs to go shopping and he's meant to be with Tom at 3"

"You look like a natural" James complimented. I blushed slightly. I couldn't let him know I was considering adoption.

"Thank you"I managed to squeak out.

"Does Tom know you have him?" James questioned.

"I'm going to text him in a minute, you couldn't push him could you?" I asked

"That's fine" James smiled as he placed his hands ontop of mine and I let go.

'Hey Tom, I've got Bradley, I'll be home at 3 for him x'

I pretended to still be on my phone as I admired James. His smile broadened as he pushed Bradley.

"I know how Tom feels now" James said as he let out a little laugh.

"Suits you" I complimented back.

"Not for a long time yet Lex, you know that" James laughed back.

"I know" I muttered back. "Oh thanks for turning up, I told the girls I was going to be seeing you" I laughed.

"That's alright, I'll cover your back" James smiled.

After walking and talking, we finally reached the London flat the boys all shared. James pushed Bradley home the entire time. It was throwing me off, would James be happy or angry if I ever told him and how would he react to the whole adoption thing?

"How's my gorgeous little boy?" Tom came rushing over and scooping Bradley up. He's cute little squeals filled the hallways. I smiled, it was a cute noise.

"He's been very good, he likes it when his uncle James is with him" I smiled.

"He likes aunty Lexi too" James added.

"Your good with kids Lexi" Tom added before taking Bradley into another room.

"And it's a good thing you've got this little baby" James smiled as he rubbed his hand on my stomach.

My heart felt like it stopped. My stomach turned to butterflies.

James got up and followed Tom into the living room.

Casey came into the hallway and whispered in my ear "Your pregnant?" He said confused.

"Yes, but you can't tell anyone" I pleaded.

"I promise" he smiled as he hugged me.

I sighed. How many people where going to find out before I was ready?
