I had no idea what came over me, because Blossom told me that silver couldn't hurt her. But instead, still don't know the reason, I grabbed her by the shoulders and flipped us around. Making Mitch stab me in my shoulder, I groaned and closed my eyes.

"Brick!" Blossom yelled.

"Awe man! How am I gonna play hockey with this stupid stake sticking out my shoulder?" I asked.

"Are you serious?" The two vampires asked together which made me raise my eyebrow.

"What do you guys want me to care about dying?" I asked as they nodded with a look on their faces.

I took my arms off of Blossom and crossed my arms. "Well I wouldn't have to if you didn't stab me in my back!" I yelled as I looked towards Mitch.

"Well it was meant for Blossom." He replied as I rolled my eyes.

"Then why didn't you see me flipping us around, now my shoulder in pain! I don't know if I'll be able to play hockey, but I swear this Mitch! I am so angry I can't even make a promise, so boom!" I yelled as Blossom slapped her forehead.

Mitch raised his eyebrow but shook his head. He snapped his fingers, the sounds of wolves howled in the distance. I backed up some, putting my hands up. Blossom hissed behind him, which made he turn around and saw she was hissing at my back door.

"I thought wolves hated vampires." I whispered as Mitch laughed.

"They hate those Greek ones, but our kind we're alright with them." Mitch replied as I nodded, but them started to shake my head.

"No way! The movies, also Twilight, clearly said that werewolves hated all kinds of vampires. I mean that's the nature order." I said as I crossed my arms.

The back door was crushed by a large black wolf standing on top of. He growled which made Mitch smirked as Blossom back up some, in fear. Alright that made me angry, but to say this, I was already angry. I mean there's a large black wolf standing on my door, which I was going to be grounded forever, and Blossom was shaking.

I took in a deep breathe then put my fingers to my mouth. I whistled, which Boomer taught me how to change the pitches, so I did it loud as possible. The wolf howled as he started to slam his head against the shards of the door and I marched up to the wolf, who was now human.

I grabbed him by the ear, which made him whimpered. I brought him up and saw it was a small tan boy. His long black hair covered his shoulders, and he was only wearing his boxers. His warm brown eyes looked in mine, which made me think of Boomer, those puppy dog eyes he pulled whenever he was to lazy to get a drink.

Which I was a sucker for all the time.

I sighed and let go of the ear, which made him smile. He shifted into a wolf, which made Blossom scream out my name, I waited to be killed by the wolf but instead he just rubbed his head against my stomach. I turned back to the vampires, Blossom was awestruck while Mitch was slapping his forehead.

"Are you kidding me! Come on Rider, we talked about this." Mitch yelled as he snapped his fingers.

Rider growled, but not towards me, he was glaring at Mitch. He growled and leaped towards Mitch, who widened his eyes and jumped out the window. Rider howled, which made others follow his lead, he turned to look back at me. He gave me a toothy smile, which just plain scary, but he jumped on me and started to lick my face.

"Gross, dog breathe!" I yelled as he leaped off and walked around Blossom, who was shaking.

"Are you scared of wolves?" I asked as Blossom nodded.

"Rider, come here boy." I said as I tapped my hands on my knees. 

Rider ran towards me and started to bump his head in my stomach. I groaned, because this wolf was large! Alright, and plus it just felt weird having a human rub against my stomach. So I patted his head, which made him shift back into human.

Blossom gulped as she walked towards me, grabbing my hands and stood behind me. I looked towards the tan boy, who stood up and smiled at us. I saw he was missing his two front teeth and he only reached to my shoulders. He looked around the house.

"How old are you?" Blossom asked as Rider turned around and smiled.

"Ten!" He said as I walked around and I sighed.

He was covered in dirt, which only made my older sibling heart break. I gave him my number one smile and grabbed him by the shoulders, which he flinched. I frowned but quickly put on my number one smile, and pointed towards the stairs.

"Let's go get you washed up, yeah?" I said as Rider nodded. "Great, find the bathroom and I'll get the towel and clothes for you. Even some food." As soon I said that, Rider perked up and ran upstairs.

I sighed and turned towards Blossom, who was staring at the door. Her face showed that she was in deep though, which made her sighed and shake her head. Blossom crossed her arms and turned to look at me. Which made me smirked, trying to make her feel better.

"It doesn't make sense." Blossom said as I raised my eyebrow.

"What doesn't?"

"Rider, how can he be ten and with his wolf that large?"

"Maybe he had a really early wolf puberty."

"No, only wolves get that big unless there an Alpha or gone rogue." 

"That small ten year old, rogue? I think that's impossible Bloss," I said as she turned towards the door.

"You're new to this world, how could you know?" She asked which made me shrugged my shoulders.

"Dunno, maybe he reminds me of Boomer and Butch." I said as I turned to walk upstairs, hearing the shower go on.

Blossom followed me, and she grabbed my wrist, I turned to look at her. Her pink eyes was laced in fear, which made me grabbed her by the shoulders and smiled. Because I've been told that my smile could cure cancer, so yeah.

"Just trust me on this. Rider isn't a rogue, besides why would Mitch go for that? Rider seems pretty powerful, I think there's something else going on with him." I said as Blossom sighed. "Besides if he hurts you, I think I can handle him." I said as she snorted.

"A werewolf?" Blossom asked as I nodded.

"But a small baby one." I replied and walked in Boomer's room.

"Then you need to get him warm clothes." Blossom said as I raised my eyebrow.

"Why?" I asked as she looked towards the bathroom door. "You're not going to kill him right? I think I'm starting to get attached to the small guy." I said which made Blossom raised her eyebrow.

"You just met him." She said as I shrugged my shoulders.

Grabbing some of his older winter clothes, since it was going to be chilly tonight. Then getting a pair of new boxers, I walked towards the closet near the bathroom. Grabbing a blue towel, I knocked on the bathroom door, which made Rider call out.

"Rider? I'm coming in, yeah?" I said as he shouted out a okay.

"Be careful, his kind is dangerous." Blossom warned as I rolled my eyes.

Opening the door, I widened my eyes. Blossom grabbed my shoulders, and peeked over. Instead of seeing a dangerous wolf, we saw a ten year old boy, who was blowing soap everywhere. He giggled as he turned and smiled at us, with a soap beard.

I turned down at Blossom with my eyebrow raised. "Yeah, so dangerous." I said as I put the things on the toilet seat. 

Rider giggled as he scrubbed his body, loving the soap bubbles. I grabbed at his hair, lightly, which made Blossom yelped. I turned towards her and she pointed at his back, I looked down and widened my eyes. 

Claw marks, scars, was all down his back. His back looked like a tree bark, with all the lines. Rider turned back and raised his eyebrow, as I smiled. Looking at his hair, I saw there was split ends and dead ends. I sighed and shook my head.

"Let's cut you hair, yeah?" I said as Rider turned his head to the side.

"My hair?" Rider asked as I nodded. "But I don't need that, the other wolves said that I'm a runt who doesn't deserve any special treatment." He said as my heart cletched, I looked towards Blossom.

Her pink eyes was filled with tears, I opened my mouth but she ran out. I sighed and turned back to Rider, who was staring blankly at the water. I laughed and shook my head, which made Rider turned towards me.

"Their just jealous, they don't see how awesome you are." I said as Rider smiled and began to jump up and down.

"Really?" He asked as I nodded.

"Oh yeah! I'm sure no one can scare Mitch like you did." I said as he smiled and nodded.

"Everyone from my pack is scared of him!" Rider said as I smiled and nodded.

"Alright, then let's give you a new look. To show everyone who's boss." I said as Rider smiled and hugged me.

"Thank you..." He paused for my name, which made me smile.

"Brick." I said.

After giving a Rider haircut, which his choice. He wanted me to shave half of his head and collect the other side and chop it up, then braid the rest of it. Which I gotta say, he rocked the look. Leaving him to change his clothes, I then changed my shirt, since he got it soaked from the hug.

I walked downstairs, and saw Blossom was sitting on the couch. She was looking at her hands, which made me raised my eyebrow. I walked towards her and sat next to her. Grabbing her hands, which made her looked towards me.

"What's up?" I asked, which made Blossom sighed.

"I never felt sorry for his kind, and I didn't like it."

"Hmm."

"Does that make me a bad person?"

"Nah, you're scared of his kind, which is crazy. But I don't think you should be scared of them, I mean wolves are said to be the most loyal animals out there." I said as Blossom opened her mouth, but Rider yells cut her off.

"Here comes the awesome Rider, the only werewolf who scared Mitch! Rocking a new haircut thanks to my new Shilah, Brick!" Rider yelled as he slide down the stairs.

I laughed as he landed on his knees, and he smiled. I looked towards Blossom, who had a small smile, then back towards Rider. He jumped up and brushed off his sweatpants. He smiled and I stood up and looked towards the backdoor.

Blossom sighed as she grabbed her coat and put it around her shoulders.

"We don't have much time, as soon the sun rises up that's when we will see her." Blossom said as I raised my eyebrow towards her.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I rushed towards the coat rack and grabbed two coats. 

Tossing one towards Rider, then grabbing a hat and put it over his head. He smiled which made me pat his shoulders, and I slipped on my coat. Handing him a pair of Boomer's rain boots, as he slipped them on.

"We're going to see a old friend." She said as she looked out the window, then turned back towards Rider.

"When Mitch snapped, did he call for the rest of your pack?" Blossom asked as Rider shook his head with a frown.

"No, they only gave him me." Rider said as I grumbled and stomped towards the washing room.

"Brick?" Blossom called out, as I grabbed my school bag.

Dumping out the school supplies, then tossing in some clothes for Rider and some for me. I walked in the kitchen and grabbed some pickles and peanut butter, then some chips. Because I can already tell that I was going to be stressed. Rider smiled as he saw the food, which made me grabbed the pack of cookies and tossed them to him.

He giggled as he opened them and started to eat them. I walked towards the fridge and grabbed my extra wallet, which held around hundred dollars, then turned towards Blossom. She nodded, which told me that we were going to be on a long trip, I sighed and looked around the house.

"Ready?" Blossom asked.

"Yes!" Rider shouted.

"Nope." I replied, as the Butch's truck headlights appeared.

Rider hid behind me, which made me grabbed his hand. He put the cookies in his coat pocket, and I nodded towards Blossom. And with that we ran out into the woods, for our wild trip.
