Juvia's POV

After 2 days, Lucy returned, surprising us. Of course and as expected, Gray-sama was very happy and secretly, he puts the chocolate in her locker. When she asked about it, Juvia just acted like she doesn't know anything about it and just said that maybe it's from her admirer.

Juvia didn't like it.

For some reason, Juvia didn't like how this was going...

"Juvia~♥" Gray-sama called out and hugged Juvia from behind out of the blue while she was fixing her things. He's getting his chances. "Where do you want to go for our date today?"

He was doing this because he wants to try and make Lucy jealous, who is right beside Juvia and she's also fixing her things.

Juvia faked a smile. "Juvia doesn't want to go anywhere today."

He glared at Juvia for a sec. and looked at Lucy and then at Juvia again. He looked like he was pleading for Juvia to say anything, except what she just said just now.

"Fine. Juvia wants to go to the park." Juvia answered a bit louder so Lucy can hear it.

"Oh, is that so? Then let's go." He said happily and natural as possible and slipped his hand into Juvia's and holds it.

Juvia flinched but didn't let it show because they might get suspicious.

"Juvia, I can't go home with you today." Lucy said with a smile--- And it's a different smile. She smiles like that when she's excited or something. "Natsu and I are going to hang out today and... Just talk."

Juvia could totally picture out Gray-sama's reaction.

"Oh, really? Juvia's happy for you!" Juvia said excitedly. "Juvia hopes that you could confess to him as soon as possible!"

Gray-sama tightened his grip on Juvia's hand so she winced. She got her revenge when she stomped on Gray-sama's foot and he shouted, "Ow!"

Lucy was surprised. "What just happened?"

"N-Nothing, Lucy! Haha!" Gray-sama nervously replied and he bends his knee to reach his poor foot. Juvia could feel his intense glare on her but she chose to ignore it.

"Okay then. See you guys!" She said and sprinted out of the room. She must be really excited for their little date.

"Juvia." He called in a lower voice and he pulled Juvia out of the room. He, again, pulled Juvia to that empty classroom and we got inside.

Juvia sat on the table while he massages his foot. "Juvia, what was that??"

"Well, you tightened your hand in Juvia's and it hurts, you know? So she simply got her revenge by doing that." Juvia explained in a matter of fact tone.

"Because you just said something unnecessary." He said and ruffled his hair in frustration.

Juvia frowns. "But Juvia is Lucy's best friend and as her best friend, she needs to continue on supporting her with Natsu or else, she might get the wrong idea."

"Hm. Okay, you kinda have a point." He said and fixed his raven hair back to its original. "But still, help me out."

"Juvia is helping you out." Juvia pouted.

"And they have their little date today." He sighed depressingly and he looked like he was out of this world.

"Why are you trying so hard even though it's obvious that Lucy won't like you back?" Juvia finally asked. "You two are like strangers... And there's no way that she'll change her feelings for Natsu."

"We are not strangers, Juvia." He said sternly. "We... had something and then, it's gone. Nowhere to be found again. I want to be with her because she's my first love..."

"What's that something?" Juvia asked curiously.

"It's a secret." He said and smiled. "Maybe I'll tell you next time about it. I'm not in the mood for now."

"But---"

"No buts!" He cut Juvia off and placed a hand in front of Juvia's mouth. He gave me a smirk and said, "Anyway, we should follow Natsu and Lucy. Right now, this instant."

Juvia stared at him with widened eyes and stood up from the table. "W-Wha---?! Come on, give them their privacy."

"I can't. I'm just in love with Lucy that I need to see how she's doing and who's she's seeing after school." He glanced at Juvia and winked. "You should know that."

And here we are, we followed Natsu and Lucy to the cafe. Yes, the cafe. Gray-sama should be thankful because Juvia had the courage to ask Lucy where the two of them went.

Juvia's glad that she didn't get suspicious of her.

Juvia needs to stop calling Gray with -sama. It's becoming a habit.

For now, we ordered 2 fruit parfaits and disguised ourselves so they wouldn't recognize the two of us. Gray-sama is the one who'll pay for everything we eat.

Seriously, stop it Juvia.

Natsu suddenly leaned into Lucy and whispered something in her ear and that made Lucy burst out laughing, which caught our full attention.

"Tsk. I can't hear what they're talking about." He said and chose to observe the two of them while eating his fruit parfait.

Juvia sighed and ate mine as well. "Gray-sama, Juvia thinks we should stop this nonsense. We're looking like idiots."

"Bracelet."

"Don't mind what Juvia said just now."

He smiles and said, "Good girl. Anyway, I don't really need to hear their conversation. Maybe just observing them will do the trick."

Juvia slowly frowns as she grabs her math book and she decided to do her homework. It'll take long here. Why is math so hard?

"What. Are. You. Doing?" He asked, surprised to see that I was doing my math homework in front of him.

"Juvia's doing her homework while you're busy spying on the two of them." Juvia said after she solved the first problem easily. "She has nothing better to do anyways."

He was taken aback at Juvia's words and he decided to just continue on looking at Natsu and Lucy fawning with each other.

Juvia has never met a man like him. Who would actually do this kind of thing? No one does it anymore, in our generation. Even though he knows that he has no chance, he still doesn't give up because he loves Lucy that much.

Lucy must be a lucky girl...

She has two guys who adores her: Natsu and Gray-sama. Natsu didn't really say that he loves her but Juvia can tell that he does. Anyone could tell it, judging by his facial expressions whenever he's with Lucy.

"Ah, for that problem, you must first distribute this with x and y." He suddenly butted into Juvia's thoughts and he pointed at the third problem Juvia's trying to answer.

"Oh, Gray-sama's right." Juvia said, after doing calculations about what he suggested Juvia to do.

He suddenly beams with confidence and said, "Well, of course. I love math more than anyone in this whole world."

"Yeah right, genius." Juvia retorted and rolled her eyes at him. "And why are you helping Juvia? Aren't you busy spying on Natsu and Lucy?"

"Well, Natsu didn't make any move at her and I got bored of waiting so I just decided to help you out." He said. "And don't doubt what I taught you, it's correct."

"Hmm... Okay then."

Juvia moves onto the next question/equation and she's glad that it was easy and was able to answer it in a matter of seconds. When she moved onto the next one, she got stucked.

How to do this again?

"Seriously, Juvia?" He asked, after seeing Juvia quite troubled with the next question. "You need to multiply 5 to 48 and then use the formula of..."

He grabs my pen and started teaching me on what I should do for the question. His intructions are way easier to understand than our teacher. W-Wow...

"Oh, Juvia gets it now. Thanks!" Juvia said and solved that question easily after Gray-sama taught her how to.

He smirks and said, "You're welcome. If you want, I can answer your homework. I memorized my answers to it."

"N-No thanks."

His expressions suddenly changed when he noticed something different. "... What the heck?? Natsu and Lucy are gone."

"Ah, they must've went somewhere else. Maybe they just went here to eat and that's it." Juvia suggested and continued on answering.

He groaned as he leans on his chair and said, "Damn it. Damn it all."

"You can just spy at them tomorrow." Juvia said.

"... I hope they're not kissing right now." He frowned and thought of the most horrible idea.

...

For some reason, Juvia hates seeing him like that.
