Even though Finn told me a part of the story from yesterday, I still needed an answer for Molly. If she knew someone was trying to take advantage of me, why did she let some stranger save me instead of herself? What if Finn was just as much of a creep as Jonah?

It doesn't add up.

I set down my phone and frowned. Maybe I was wrong about molly, maybe she wasn't someone I could count on after all. Her excuse was liable, but I wasn't sure if that's what she really was doing last night. It could just be a lie she made to cover up for it.

I stalked into my kitchen to get a glass of water, and my eyes caught sight of my laptop. It was shut on the table, but I instantly remembered what I had been waiting for.

I scrambled over to my computer and threw it open. I hit refresh on the tab, and waited as Gmail collected my email.
