(Opening Theme: Fist Pump)

"A-A-A....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Izuku scream in pure shock. Suddenly in front of him was a very skinny man with a long neck wearing the cloth All Might was wearing. He had the same hair color only with the bangs going down instead of up and the rest of it being unkempt and messy. He also appeared to have blue eyes and didn't have any eyebrows.

"W-w-who are you?! Where's All Might! There's no way you're him! You're a faker!" Nate accused pointing at the skinny man who just sighed in response.

"I promise you I am All Might." The skinny man who actually turned out to be All Might revealed but as he finished blood leaked out of his mouth causing the two to scream in terror again.

"Okay, how can I put this...?" All Might said as he wiped the blood from his mouth, "... You know how the guys at the pool are constantly flexing and posturing to impress others?"

The two of them didn't say anything; they merely nodded their heads in reply.

"It's like that." All Might stated.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" Nate exclaimed.

"B-b-but that impossible!" Izuku screamed. "All Might is the greatest hero of all time always saving people with a fearless smile!"

All Might sighed again and sat down. "Fearless huh?" He said grabbing the fanboys attention. "Let me tell ya kids, there's plenty of fear hidden in that smile, and it's just an act I put on for the masses." All Might revealed making Nate and Izuku even more shocked. "Look, boys, I'm trusting you keep this all a secret, don't go spreading it online or even telling anyone, got it?"

The duo nodded in response as All Might looked toward the sky.

"I'm supposed to be the world's symbol of peace, always smiling and giving people hope. But I just smile to hide the fear." All Might then lifted up his shirt revealing something that made the two boys gasp in horror. On All Might's chest was a hideous scar that covered up almost all of the left side of his chest.

"What the hell...?" Nate muttered speechless.

"Disgusting huh? Got this 5 years ago in a fight." All Might explained. "My whole stomach was destroyed and surgery wasn't enough to fix it. Now I'm limited to only being able to do hero work for 3 hours a day, the rest of the time I look like this."

"Three hours?" Izuku said surprised.

"Please tell me you're kidding right now..." Nate stuttered while taking it all in.

"I wish I was young man." All Might had said, "But it's true, every word of it."

Izuku was paying close attention to every single word All Might was telling him. He made sure to pay close attention. "Wait 5 years ago?" Izuku asked making sure he heard that. "Wasn't that when you had the fight with Toxic Chainsaw?"

"Hold on, that guy!?" Nate said, "The one killed at least two families and put eight officers in the hospital?!"

"Huh, I'm impressed, you two really know your stuff." All Might said impressed with the boys' knowledge of events that happened quite a while ago. "But no, he pulled some punches but he was no match for me. No, hardly anyone in the world knows about this fight, I kept it under wraps so no one would know about."

Izuku's eyes widen at the sudden revelation. What fight could be so important that it needed to be hidden from the world? He had so many questions but he continued to let the hero talk.

"I don't get it..." Nate said, "... This doesn't make any sense! If you have this condition going on for the past five years, why do you put yourself at risk of being exposed to others especially villains? People that would literally try to kill you?"

"It's simple to why I do it young man..." All Might replied, "... I want to save people with a smile! The Symbol of Peace cannot be daunted by evil. I smile to show the pressure of heroes and trick the fear inside of me." The two of them gasped at this at the new found information. They didn't want to believe that All Might, this Symbol of Peace was afraid. The great All Might simply afraid and he hides it all behind of smile.

He then looked over at Izuku. "I'm sorry young man, but there are just too many villains out there that can't be beaten without power. So no, you can't be a hero, not without a quirk."

Izuku eyes dilated as his mouth hung in horror while Nate looked at him in shock.

No...him to...

"O-oh," Izuku managed to speak currently all of his will in order not to break out crying in front of the number one hero.

All Might then stood up and walked toward the door as Izuku was standing still, practically frozen in place. "If you wanna help people there are still ways for you to help out. You can become a police officer. Sure, they get made fun of since it's the heroes that really capture the villains, buts it's a good way of giving back to the community." As All Might opened the door he stopped to say one more thing. "There's nothing wrong with having a dream young man, just make sure your dreams are achievable."

All Might then went inside the building leaving Nate and Izuku alone to process everything he was just told. He hated having to tell the kid that and having to crush his dreams, but it was better than him trying to go for it only to meet his demise at the hands of a villain that didn't care if he had a quirk. It was for his own good.

But he couldn't worry about that right now, he just had to do one thing right now and then he would hopefully be worry-free for the rest of the day. "Alright, time to turn you into the police." All Might said as he patted his pocket where the bottle containing the sludge villain was head...only it was gone.

All Might panicked and looked around to see if he dropped it just now but couldn't find it.

BOOM!

All Might looked out the window only gasp in horror as he saw a large cloud smoke coming up from downtown in the Tatooin District.

"Oh, no."

Prior – Tatooin Shopping District

The pop bottle that contained the sludge villain had fallen out of All Might's pants as a result of Izuku grabbing onto him. Waking up the Sludge villain found he was in an alleyway. "What the? How did I get here? When did...."

'Texas...SMASH!'

"Oh, right." The sludge villain growled remembering All Might stopping his attempts and taking over that kid. "That bastard. If it wasn't for him I could have been out of town by now."

Just the Bakugo, who was drinking a soda, along with the two boys that were with him earlier. Bakugo still had a small bruise on his cheek from the punch from Nate earlier.

"Hey don't you think you were a little hard with Mirdoriya and Fenton back there? Weren't you three friends when you were all kids?" One of the boys asked.

"Yeah, you were a pretty rough on them on them today." The other one added as Bakugo looked back at them. "But you gotta give Fenton a little props, decking you of all people across the face. Normally he just a awkward doof that hangs with Midoriya but there might be a man underneath there somewhere." He finished as he and the other boy laughed while Bakugo scoffed.

"That Ghost-Freak's dead once I get my hands on him." Bakugo as he narrowed his red eyes as he kicked the bottle containing the sludge villain unintentionally freeing him from his plastic prison. "Besides, it's their fault for getting in my way."

"Why even waste time on them anyway?" the boy with black hair asked, genuinely curious to why Bakugo always goes out of his way to make both boys miserable.

Bakugo growled and gritted his teeth as he exploded the empty can in his hand. "Someone needs to teach those two worthless nerds how the world works, and why they stand. It pisses me off when they start talking heroes."

Both boys chuckled at the ash-blonds choice and words and reaction as the one with brown hair spoke up. "Hey, why don't we go to the arcade, relax and bit and get our minds off this?"

Bakugo put his hands in his pockets and hummed a bit before agreeing. "Fine."

"Or we could sneak into that bar by the station and pick up some chicks." The other boy said with a chuckle.

"Oh, I like that idea." The long-haired boy agreed as he extended two of his fingers to make on O.

Bakugo, however, growled at the idea. "IDIOTS!" He barked at them. "If anyone catches us I'll never get into UA!" As Bakugo was yelling his two cronies flinched and backed up in fear. Bakugo rose an eyebrow at their reactions only to look when the long-haired boy extended his finger to point behind Bakugo.

The ash blond looked behind him only for his eyes to widen as he saw the sludge villain in full view looking down at him. "Perfect, I love a skin suit with some attitude!" The sludge villain said as he lunged at Bakugo.

Present Time

Izuku was standing frozen on the roof of the building completely frozen. The number one hero, his hero, All Might, just told him he couldn't be a hero without a quirk. He's heard it his whole life, from Kacchan, his classmates, sometimes his teachers and although his mother never said it, he never said he could. Nate was the only one that supported him and tried to help him, even though he had a quirk he always had trouble using it and keeping it going at a steady and even pace. But Nate's words...just weren't enough.

And now the hero that had inspired him his whole life that he looked up to with every fiber of his being, just said he couldn't be a hero.

He wanted to cry. He wanted to just hide from the world and cry in despair. His dreams...shattered.

Nate frowned and looked at the ground. They both vowed to be heroes together, regardless of what anyone says. But when that someone was All Might himself...Izuku must be feeling more hurt right now then all the other times he was hurt combined.

Nate always tried to comfort him and help him throughout the years. Izuku was like a brother to him and considering he had an older sister, it was something he needed. And Nate had always respected Izuku thinking he was better than him even though he didn't have a quirk like him. Izuku never gave up on his dream despite the hardships, but now....

"I'm...I'm sorry, Zu," Nate said trying to find the words to help his friend but just couldn't. "I...I don't know what to say."

"You don't need to say anything alright!" Izuku suddenly snapped, taking Nate back. Realizing his outburst, Izuku let out a sad sigh. "I-I'm sorry, but let's face it Nate. I was just holding onto false hope."

Nate was shocked by this statement and tried to get his friend to change his mind. "D-don't say that! I mean, yeah sure, All Might may have said it but, you can still try, right!" The dark-haired boy tried to reason with his friend. Nate was really the only one that believed in Izuku but even knew his words only meant so much, especially compared to the number one hero.

BOOM!

The duo turned their heads at hearing the loud explosion. They looked to see a large cloud of smoke coming up from what they knew was the Tatooni district.

"What was that?" Nate questioned, seeing the dust cloud reach into the sky.

"An incident! I wonder what heroes will show up-" Izuku began to run to the door but stopped when he remembered what All Might told him.

'There are just too many villains out there that can't be beaten without powers. So no, you can't be a hero, not without a quirk.'

Izuku sighed and looked down in self-regret as he walked away not giving the incident another glance.

Seeing this, Nate spoke up. "You're not gonna go check it out?"

"No...what the point?" Izuku said with a cracking voice. "Can we just...head home?"

Nate was hesitant but ultimately complained. "Alright, just...don't beat yourself up over this, ok? I'll always be here if you need to talk."

"Yeah, thanks." And with that Izuku headed for the door on the roof.

Sighing, Nate looked down at his hand. Clenching his fist, he made it glow with green energy.

In frustration as he looked down. "Damn it." He cursed under his breath, which is something he very rarely did.

Nate always had a moment of getting use to his quirk, remembering when he first obtained it two years ago.

XXXXXXXXXX

"It's just so weird, you know?" 12 year old Nate said as he and 12 year old Izuku were walking out of the school after a long day.

"What? That there's no Ghost Heroes?" Izuku asked, looking over at his friend with an amused smile.

"Exactly!" Nate exclaimed, once they left the school grounds. "I mean when have you ever seen anyone shout things like: 'Oh, look! It's the Phantom Hero! He/she will save us from the villains! It's down right criminal, I tell ya!"

It didn't take a genius to know that Nate was a fan of anything related to ghost. Books movies, cartoons, even terrifying ghost stories. But like Izuku, he could at times be overacting when it comes to ghosts.

"I mean, seriously. If I were to have any Quirk, it would to have Ghost powers. I'd turn invisbile, fly through walls and scare the crap out of bad guys!"

Like his friend, Izuku Midoriya and another 205 of the world population...Nathan Fenton was quirkless.

There was no getting around it, no matter how hard he tried. His fourth birthday came and passed with nothing springing from his fingertips. Soon it was his fifth, then sixth, then seventh birthday and still nothing showed. He had spent hours staring up at his ceiling, covered in plastic glow in the dark stars, willing any sort of power to burst from his tiny body. And yet nothing came. No quirk where he could look at a person and know their very weakness like his mom, or be able to store things in his stomach like an extra pocket like his dad. He didn't even have an empathy quirk like his sister, Jessica. He had...nothing.

His doctor informed his family about his lifelong disability with finality around his fifth birthday. Nate had been so excited for the doctor to tell them he'd eventually get a quirk that he made his mom dress him in his NASA outfit. It was really just a shirt that had the space logo but it was small Nate's favorite shit ever. It was his good luck t-shirt.

Lindsay Fenton tried to explain to the doctor that it just didn't make sense, her and Jack were both fourth generation quirk users. No one in their extended family was even quirkless. Her son by all rights should have one. He should be strong.

He shouldn't be useless.

Instead the doctor showed them his x-ray and sent them on their way. There was nothing any of them could do. Nate was just broken.

His sister tried not to look at him with pity, but with her empathic quirk running wild she got a full dose of his anger and drowning pain. She knew first hand how much it hurt. She even tried to tell their parents but... well. His parents tried to be supportive but they had little time on their hands to soothe his worries, they were too busy helping other people. Their jobs as techs took precedence over their young boy's emotional issues. They had to save lives, his sister with the amazing quirk could help him.

So he coped. As best as he could in the only way he knew.

Reading and watching anything that was related to ghosts and astronuats.

"That'd be awesome Nate and I bet they're going to call you the Phantom hero!"

Nate looked up at the sky. "Yeah...I can see it now. He's The Friendliest Ghost You Know!" He shook his head with a small smile. "Meh, a guy can only dream."

"Oh come on, I know that you're going to be a great hero one day, Nate!" Izuku encouraged with a bright smile.

The dark-haired teen laughed at this. "Right back at ya, buddy. Come on, let's go get some ice cream!"

After a while of walking, the duo decided to cut through Amity Park, where Nate the noticed a familar face sitting under a tree, reading a history book and in front of her is a nearby playground with three little kids playing with each other.

It was his older sister, Jessica Fenton. Like her brother, she was a young teenage with a similar facial structure and slender figure like her mother. She inherited their father's aqua blue eyes and their mother's auburn hair, which reaches down to her hips. She was also wearing a black tank stop, aqua shorts and black sneakers.

"Hey, Jess!"

Hearing her name, the girl looked up and saw the two boys approaching her. "Oh, hey Nathan. Izuku. Just got out of school?"

"Yep"

"Yeah!"

"I see. So, what's up?"

"Well, Zu and I were on our way to get some ice cream." Nate explained with a grin. "Since we ran into, I thought maybe you'd like to come with us."

"Sorry, but I can't . I'm really focusing on my studies right now. Not really stopping for anything." Jessica declined, gesturing to her book.

"Come on, that brain of yours isn't going to live forever in a while without sweet goodness," Nate claimed. Jessisca gave him a one eyebrow-raise and a facial expression to add up to it. "Okay, maybe afterwards, you down?"

Jessica let out a sigh. "OK, fine, after tests. You do have a point, my brain has just been feeding on a lot of bitterness. I do need some sweetness."

"Alright, see you at home."

"See ya."

With that, the two boys walked away from the girl and more into the park. "She sure is determined, huh?" Izuku spoke up

"Well that's Jessica for you. She's always been like that."

Nate glanced over to the park after noticing one of them running after a ball. He followed the direction of the ball seeing that it would end up in the streets where a red car was speeding towards it. The couple in the car laughing and not watching the road.

Obvious to the speeding car, the kid ran after it, only to freeze once he had seen the car rushing towards him as everything seemed to be going in slow motion.

"Watch out, kid!" Nate shouted.

Without a second thought, the black haired teen sprang to life and sprinted towards the kid, who remained frozen with terror on the dark pavement.

The woman in the passenger seat noticed him. "Look out!" she warned in horror.

The driver stepped on the brakes, trying to swerve to avoid hitting the boy. The car's screeching against the pavement caught the attention of many bystanders.

Nate then launched himself to reach the kid when suddenly out of nowhere, a white light immediately enveloped around his hips before sweeping across his body in two opposite directions.

He felt himself floating and managed to grab the boy, wrapping his arms around him as he dodged the car that just missed them. "Phew! That was a close one." he breathed,  not realizing that his voice had become slightly but noticeably resonant.

He looked down at the kid in his arms. "Are you okay?" he asked in concern.

The kid slowly nodded, feeling a little shaken from almost getting hit. "Thank you, mister hero." He smiled.

Nate smiled back as he placed the boy on the ground and gave him back a nod, but then he blinked and raised an eyebrow with confusion at the mention of him being called a hero. He noticed the bystanders. Their faces were filled with shock or amazement.

"That boy saved that kid!"

"Is he a young sidekick or something?"

"He doesn't look like a Pro, but he looks awesome!"

"I like his hair. It looks really hot on him."

Hearing these types of comments made Nate look even more confused. When he turned his head to a nearby clothes store, his confusing face quickly turned into deep shock at the sight of his appearance.

"W-Wha the...?"

He realized his feet were not on the ground, but now levitating in the air with his whole body. His physical appearance also had a different look.

He was still wearing his school uniform, but his jet-black hair had become snow white, his blue eyes were now glowing green, his skin was casted in shadow and a faint white glow surrounds his whole body.

Just then, Nate saw two adults and the two kids from earlier running towards him. He guessed the adults were the kid's parents while the other kids were his friends. They came closer as he floated down to the ground. The kid saw and ran straight to his parents, who embraced him with teary relieved faces. This brought a smile on Nate's face. The two kids walked up to him.

"Thanks for saving our friend, mister ghost." One of them said.

"Yeah! You were awesome when you flew to our friend and saved him from that car!" The other one added, jumping up and down in excitement. "Uhh... Sure. No problem." Nate chuckled sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. Being called a ghost was very new to him. Perhaps more than gaining his Quirk.

The kid approached him with his parents. "Are you a hero, young man?" his father asked.

"Um, no. I just got my Quirk today a moment before I saved your kid. I'll probably start studying to become a hero when I tell my family and my friends about my new Quirk." Nate replied with honesty.

The couple nodded in understanding, then they made grateful smiles.

"Our little boy told us how you rescued him. Thank you." The mother said.

"Anytime." Nate close-eyed grinned at the family, making a thumbsup.

"Like my wife said, thank you for rescuing our son. We wish you good luck on becoming a hero." The father smiled at him. "Thanks. That really means a lot to me."

The kid, his parents and his friends walked away to the driver of the car and the passenger, who were waiting for them to apologize to the couple for almost hitting their son earlier. But not before the three kids waved goodbye at Nate. He waved back in return while smiling. Not only did he get his new Quirk, he also rescued a kid from getting hit by a car. His heroic actions made him a hero. Even though it's just for a moment. He was starting to get much closer to his dream.

"N-Nathan!?"

Hearing his name being called by Jessica, Nate turned around to see her and Izuku, both of them now deeply surprised. "Uh..." Nate said.

"W-W-What j-just happened?" Izuku stuttered as his eyes widened in shock.

Nate looked down at his hands with amazement. "I-I don't know. My body just moved on its own and then suddenly... this happened."

"How were you flying? And how did you even do that to your hair and eyes?" Jessica exclaimed, pointing down at Nate's new look.

"I'm not sure..."

Izuku walked around Nate to look closely at his new appearance. "People's Quirks normally manifest before they turn four, some have them right after their birth. It's quite rare that your Quirk manifested at the age of thirteen." he said.

"I know, right?" Nate nodded in agreement. "Maybe I'm just a late bloomer...?"

"I can't believe my little brother has a new Quirk!" Jessica squealed as she quickly grabbed Nate into a big hug, her arms tightening around his body.

"Jess! C-Can't... breathe...!" He wheezed. Izuku snickered at that.

"Oh, sorry." Jessica apologized with a laugh. She put Nate down. He caught his breath and dusted his outfit off with his hands.

"Wait." He spoke up, looking over at Izuku. "If I got my Quirk so late, does that mean...you could get yours too?"

Izuku looked down at his hands in silence. When he was 4, the doctor told him that he wouldn't gain a Quirk and from what Nate told him, it was the same for him too. Yet somehow, Nate was hear with a Quirk that just suddenly appeared out of nowhere. If he was a late bloomer...could it be possible for him too?

"I-I don't know, but..." The green-haired boy look up with hope in his eyes. "But if there's a chance that it does happen, we'll be heroes together!"

Nate grinned at that. "Heck yeah!"

'Dorks.' Jessica thought to herself before grabbing both of their hands. "Come on! We gotta tell Mom and Dad about this!"

With that, the trio took off down the street with smiles plastered on their faces.

Present

Nate dropped his hand to his side, before looking up at the sky

He could still remember how his parents reacted upon find his got his Quirk and how happy they were.

Soon afterward, he and Izuku would go out to an old junkyard for hours to test out what else his Quirk could do, where they found out it seemed to be very versital.

Yet....no matter how they wished for it to happen, Izuku never developed a power of his own. He was constantly put down and ridiculed just because of how he was born and because he had the dream of being a hero.

'Baaaah! So what? Just because All Might said it, doesn't mean it can't be true! If anything this should be more motivation for him to become a hero, so he can prove not only the people at our school wrong, but also All Might and show he can!'

With that thought in mind, Nate took off after Izuku with determination in his eyes.

Taooin Shopping District

Currently, absolute chaos was going down in the area. Police were currently barricading the area keeping the watching bystanders from danger. Multiple pro heroes were there but couldn't do much.

The sludge villain had taken Bakugo hostage. The heroes' like Death Arms couldn't do a thing due to the sludge villain's body negating all of his attacks. All the other heroes couldn't even get in close due to Bakugo's struggling by using his quirk to create explosions. This also caused a large amount of fire in the area leading backdraft, the only hero who had the right quirk to deal with the villain, focusing on putting out the fire and being in charge of damage control.

Kamui woods was no good in the situation due to all the fire but managed to get everyone in the area to safety on top of the buildings.

And then Mt. Lady had shown up leading many people to think she would easily take care of the situation. However, Mt. Lady meet her one weakness in the situation. The road wasn't big enough for her to get through with her quirk without causing a great amount of collateral damage.

All Might had arrived as well, but due to reaching his time limit, only watched in the backgrounds clenching his shirt the covered his scar constantly telling himself how pathetic he was for making such a rookie mistake. Especially after giving that lecture to that fanboy from earlier and crushing his dreams

Izuku was currently walking through the streets going through all the pages in his burnt notebook recalling. When he got to the page with All Might's autograph he remembered the words he had told him.

'There are just too many villains that can't be beaten without powers. So no, you can't be a hero, not without a quirk.'

Izuku closed the notebook and held it close as tears built up in his eyes. 'Don't cry damn it. All Might said it himself, you can't be a hero without a quirk. I was just in denial.' He thought to himself as he tried to keep the tears in.

"Zu! Wait up!"

Hearing the familiar nickname, Izuku turned around and saw Nate running up to him. "Nate?"

Once he mangaged to get close, Nate took a few seconds to catch his breath. "Phew! Finally caught up to ya. Damn, you walk fast."

Realizing his left his friend behind, Izuku looked down at the ground. "Sorry, I guess I was still thinking about what All Might said."

Nate waved him off. "Ah, it's cool. No worries. Actually, I came to say-what the hell is going on over there!?"

They then noticed the crowd of people and saw they was where the villain attack going on. 'Why did I come here? Did I actually walk here subconsciously just to watch?' Izuku thought.

"Is that fight from earlier still going on?" Nate wondered out loud.

The duo nevertheless walked to the crowd not even knowing All Might was there and peeked their heads up through the crowd to see the action going on. 'Why should I even bother, the notes me and Jaune made are completely useless.'

However, as Nate looked on, he flinched in horror at what he was seeing. "Crap! It's that slime guy from before!"

Izuku's eyes widened in shock. "B-but how?! All Might captured him!" He exclaimed.

Izuku and Nate both gasped when they thought back to when they talked with All Might; they knew he had the Sludge Villain trapped inside the soda bottle, however as they thought back to it they realized something.

When All Might changed into his skinny form on the building. The bottle in his pocket...was gone. "It must've fallen out when we were flying!" Nate muttered. "Then...that...means..."

"It's our fault." Izuku said as he started to sweat.

Soon enough a certain conversation had caught their ears.

"Hey, why aren't the heroes doing anything?"

"I heard that the Villain has someone as a hostage. They can't really do much without hurting him."

Nate and Izuku turned to one another before looking back to where the Villain was. "It has someone!?" Izuku exclaimed out of shock.

Nate tried to get a closer look "Yeah, but who?"

'How long have they been in there? I'm I would've have died after just a few seconds.' Izuku thought wondering how on earth the person the sludge monster had taken was still alive after this long.

"Wait, isn't that the villain All Might fought earlier?" A spectator asked causing both Izuku and All Might to flinch.

"What?! There's no way he lost right?!"

"Can someone call him?"

'I'm so pathetic.' All Might cursed himself as he clenched his shirt as he heard all the people talk about him and ask where he was when he was just watching everything happen without doing a thing.

'It's our fault he can't come!' Izuku blamed himself as he started to look completely traumatized.

'I'm a fraud!'

'A hero will come, a hero will come and stop this monster.'

'Pathetic! Pathetic!'

'Someone...a hero...will come.'

'I'm not a real hero!'

'Damnit! Why is no one helping him!?' Nate thought angrily. 'At the point, I'll have to step in'

As they were watching Izuku but his hands over his mouth as he got a better look at who the sludge villain had taken. He saw familiar spiky ash blond. But what really sealed the deal was when the sludge villain opened his mouth and the hostage opened his eyes revealing the red eyes of someone that Izuku had admired despite the torture he put both him and Nate through their whole lives.

Kacchan.

"Wait, is that Bakugo?" Nate said when he saw who it was. "How did he get caught up by this guy?'

"?!"

Everyone present gasp as what they just saw, especially All Might. Izuku had dropped his hero notebook and began running into the scene as fast as he could.

"IZUKU!?" Nate exclaimed in shock

(Cue: You Say Run)

"STOP KID! YOU'RE COMMITTING SUICIDE HERE!" Death Arms yelled as he tried to reach out towards Izuku

"That brat again." The sludge villain growled as he watched the boy run towards him.

'Deku...?' Bakugo said in his head as he opened his one visible eye and saw the boy he'd bully for so long running to him.

Izuku kept running despite feeling completely terrified. Once he saw Kacchan in the state he was in at the hands of the villain he just bolted out to the scene. But only one thing was one the green haired boy's mind as he kept running.

'Why am I doing this?! Why are my feet moving?! Why can't I stop!?'

Just as Nate sees this he clenched his fists so tightly that ink starts to drip out of it. The next second his body suddenly became intangible, glowing blue with pale blue outlines before he proceeded to litterally rush the crowd joining Izuku.

"DIE IN AN EXPLOSION! " The Sludge Villain as he went to attack Izuku.

Just before he could, Izuku swung his bag and it flew towards the Villain; most of his stuff had fallen out and a can had hit his eye.

The sludge villain did indeed flinch and groaned in pain as his hold on Bakugo loosened allowing the explosion quirk user to breath. Just then Izuku got up the sludge villain and started clawing at his body attempting to free Bakugo. "What the hell are doing here Deku?!" Bakugo yelled as Izuku tried to save him.

"I don't know!" Izuku answered as he continued his attempts. "My legs, they started moving on their own!"

Just then Izuku, despite being completely terrified as tears went down his eyes and sweat from his head, managed to smile despite the danger.

"Kacchan...!"

"I couldn't just stand there and watch you die!"

That got All Might's full attention as he let out a big gasp. This boy. This quirkless boy that he himself just lectured that he couldn't be a hero without a quirk. His legs had moved into danger all on their own and he managed to smile despite life threating situation. All the things he did.

'I have to do something! No matter the consequences!' All Might then started to transform into his muscle form despite the pain, despite his time limit, despite everything. He was supposed to be a hero. And that meant one thing. He had to risk his life to save other no matter what.

"Not too much longer kid." The sludge villain told Bakugo as he tightened his grip on him again. "And I'm done with you!" He yelled at Izuku as he brought his arm up. Izuku covered his face expecting a life-ending blow.

Soon enough Nate flew right past them went to attack the Villain. Just as he did he had yelled, " HEY ASSHAT! "

The Villain looked to Nate before his other eye was met with a strong punch; Nate yelled as he attacked, "PAYBACK!"

"Another kid!?" A random hero shouted. "Where did he come from!?"

"Gah! That brat too?!" He exclaimed. The Sludge started to loosen allowing bothBakugo to breath while the Sludge Villain tried to recover as Nate grabbed onto
Izuku's arm.

"Nate!?" the greenette exclaimed in shock.

"What?! Ghostfreak too?!" Bakugo shouted. "Why!?"

"Saving your crazy ass!" Nate replied. before reaching inside the villain and grabbing a hold on Bakugo's shirt. "Now hold on!"

Once he had a good grip, he extended his intangiblity to the other boys and pull them and himself away from the villian as they all went tumbling on the ground right before Nate's ability deactivated. "Worked like a charm!"

Feeling that he no longer had a host, the sludge villain was now beyond angry.

"Give me back my host! I'll destroy you!" He shouted, preparing another attack.

"SAVE THE BOYS! THEY'LL GET KILLED!" Death Arms yelled as he and the other heroes rushed in to try and get the trio out of there.

However, they were too late as the villain brought his arm down creating an explosion.

As the smoke cleared they saw Izuku whimpering still expecting the punch. But how?

"I really am pathetic huh?"

Izuku and Nate opened their eyes and gasp to see All Might in his hero form with steam coming off his body. He had taken hit for all them. He saved them.

"All Might!?" Nate said in surprise.

"I told you what it takes to be a hero, but I wasn't even following my own to heart!" Izuku, Nate and Bakugo watched as All Might took hold of them, freeing Bakugo in the process.

"HEROES ARE ALWAYS RISKING THEIR LIVES! NO MATTER THE DANGER! THAT'S THE TRUE MEANING OF BEING A HERO!" All Might yelled out with blood coming out of his mouth.

"DAMN YOU ALL MIGHT!" The Sludge Villain yelled as he made another attempt to attack.

"DETROIT SMAAAAAAAAASH!"

With that single punch, the sludge villain was instantly blown apart as the wind pressure created a tornado that was threating to blow all the heroes nearby away. Even a gigantified Mt. Lady. The wind pressure even created a hurricane that started to bring the clouds in the sky together.

(End music)

Everyone present was watching in pure shock and amazement. No one said a word as they just witness the number one hero in the world show off his immense strength.

"Holy shit." Death arms muttered.

Everyone else was silent until a by standing felt a drop of water hit his head. Everyone looked up to see that it was now raining. But there was no news about a chance of rain today.

...unless?

"He changed the weather with a single punch." Death Arms explained as All Might panted as more steam came off his body with Nate, Izuku and Bakugo passed out behind him.

(Cue: All Might's Theme)

All Might wiped some blood that was on his lip and stood up as everyone in the crowd started to cheer.

"Did he really just do that?!"

"He changed the weather just with one punch!"

"Leave it to the number one hero to save the day!"

All Might then began to raise his fist in the air in triumph but stumbled a bit. However, the hero was able to regain his footing and he raised his fist in the air in victory causing the crowd to cheer even louder. All Might then looked behind him and looked at the passed out green head to make sure he was ok.

After all that, the heroes gather up all the pieces of the sludge villain before he could regenerate and handed him over to the police.

After Nate, Izuku and Bakugo woke up the former was scolded for his actions claiming what he did was reckless and stupid while the latter was actually praised for his bravery and his quirk. But Bakugo wasn't even listening to the praise and was just angrily glaring at Nate and Izuku.

(End Music)

After getting chewed out by the heroes, Izuku nad Nate were currently walking home as the sun was coming down.

"Well..." Nate began. "Today was...uh...pretty eventful, huh? Who knew we'd run into the same Villain twice on the same day."

"Yeah..." Izuku said, "... We didn't even get a chance to apologize to All Might since he was being interviewed..."

The two of them let out a sigh in unison. "I'm just hoping my family doesn't find out about my stunt today..." Nate said, "... Otherwise my ass is grass..."

"DEKU! GHOSTFREAK!"

Looking back, the two friends saw Bakugo running up to them with a not so happy look on his face. Nate then remember the punch he gave him from earlier.

"Listen! I didn't need help from some pathetic weakling like you! I was doing just fine by myself! You're just a quirkless nobody who won't even make it as a street cop! You got that?! I don't owe you anything!" Bakugo yelled before turning his attention to Nate. "And you Ghostfreak!"

Nate tensed. 'Crap!' he mentally thought. "Yeah?"

"I'm letting you off with a warning," Bakugo said surprising the dark-haired teen. "But, you try anything again and I'll send you straight to hell you got that?!"

"As long as you don't go telling people to jump off buildings again, then we're good." Nate shrugged.

After that, Bakugo just scoffed and started walking away leaving both boys to sweatdrop. "Figures. We save his life and he still yells at us," Nate said breaking the silence. "Is it so hard to say thanks?"

"Yeah, but he's right. It's not liked I actually did anything." Izuku said surprising Nate. "I guess it's time I just give up on my dream."

"Zu, come on." Nate tried to reason. "I'm sure there's some way you could-"

"I AM HERE!"

Suddenly All Might arrived on the scene in his hero form causing both boys to yell in surprise. "All Might! Where'd you come from?! And how'd you get away from all those reporters?" Izuku asked.

"And how'd you find us?!" Nate added.

All Might gave a hearty laugh in response. "I stand for justice! Not sounds bytes! Why? Because I am All Migh-" But as he was talking All might shifted into his true form coughing off blood causing Izuku to scream and Nate to let out an extremely high pitched screech one could mistake for females.

"Young man, I wanted to tell you something." All Might said as Izuku and Nate calmed down. "If it wasn't for you telling me about your life, running into danger, I would have just been some phony standing in the crowd. So thank you."

Izuku was taken back a bit and stuttered. "No, All Might, if it wasn't for me all of that wouldn't have happened. All I did was waste your time and energy."

"Izuku don't say that." Nate tried to reason. "We all make mistakes, I mean, look at me. Sure I helped, but you were the first one to run out to Bakugo."

"He's right you know." All Might said grinning at Nate. At least this has one friend looking out and supporting him. "And besides, I'm not done. You told me you didn't powers. And yet, I saw this timid and quirkless boy running in risking his life for someone else. You inspired me to take action."

(Cue: You Can Become a Hero)

Both Izuku and Nate gasp at what they were told. Izuku...inspired All Might.

"Every hero has their origin. Their story of they came to be. Almost all of them have one thing in common..."

"Their bodies moved before they had a chance to think. Completely on their own."

Izuku's eye widen. That's exactly what happened to him. His body just seemed to move and run towards danger on its own. Nate was taken back by this and looked toward his friend. 'That's exactly what happened to me when I got my Quirk..!' Nate thought as he recalled that faithful day.

Suddenly Sakura petals started to fall as Izuku eyes start building up tears. He tried to hold them in but it was no use as the tears fell down his cheeks.

Seeing his friend like this Nate smiled and put his hand on Izuku's shoulder as he shed some tears as well.

Just then, Izuku remembered the words his mom said the day they found out he was quirkless.

'I'm sorry Izuku! I wish things thinks were different!'

Izuku let out some sobs as he started crouching down facing the ground as he shed even more tears. Getting on his knees Izuku just let it all out with Nate getting on his knees shedding more tears himself as he patted Izuku on the back using that as a gesture to tell him to let it all out.

"And today, that's what happened to you." All Might continued as he looked down at the two boys.

And just then...All Might said them.

The words.

The words he needed to here.

The words that his mother never said and when Nate, they just weren't enough.

All Might, the number one hero, His hero said...

"Young man. You, too. Can become a hero."

Izuku was now completely sobbing. But these were tears of joy. All Might, All Might, had told him he could do it, that he could achieve his dream. That he...could become a hero.

Nate, despite having his own flood of tears of joy, was smiling brightly. The hero he had his best friend had admired for so many years had just said the words that only he would tell Izuku. But he knew that All Might's words meant way more, and he wasn't ashamed. If Izuku was going to be a great hero, and so was he. They would become great together proving everyone that bullied them or didn't believe in them wrong.

And this is how it began.

The story of how Izuku Midoriya and Nathan Fenton, became the great heroes of all time.
