The flashback ended and I was back to the present.

I saw the past... I remembered! It was Jack! He was always there to keep me company... It never occurred to me

He is my guardian..

"Hey..." Jack whispered. "Are you okay?"

I didn't realize he was still there. He stopped hovering and stood close in front of me. I could smell the crips scent of woodland snow, the faint glow of his aura surrounding him.

"Elsa?" He whispered again taking my hand. "Did you.. Did you see the past?"

I nodded slowly. His hand felt icy cold.

He looked at me straight in the eye. "You need to rest."

I nodded again, unsure of what to say.

Gently he picked me up in his arms and carried me to my bed. He laid me down softly and put the covers on. Then he did something I didn't expect him to do.

Jack leaned forward and kisses my forehead lightly. His scent lingered around me, his pale face full of concern and gentleness shown in his blue icy eyes.

"Goodnight  snowflake." He said. "Don't worry, I'll stay with you tonight."

Then Jack sat down on the floor, leaning against the bed. His head laid back and turned to look outside.

I didn't get to respond after that because I closed my eyes and let sleep take over...

I woke up feeling full with energy. My eyes were a bit groggy from sleep but other than that I felt good. I couldn't remember anything that happened last night.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes. What did happen last night? I got up slowly and suddenly I heard a sound. Was someone giggling? I turned sharply to the right then...

SMACK

"Ow.." I tumbled off my bed and on the floor rubbing my forehead.

I looked up and saw Jack Frost floating in the air upside down laughing.

"Hahaha.. Wow! I'm sorry snowflake!" He laughed. "We um kinda bumped heads!"

I suddenly remembered that he was still here. Embarrassed I got up, my face blushing furiously.

"Think about scaring me again, Frost!" I yelled.

Like usual he had that cute smirk on his face. "Aww did I catch the Queen off guard?" He poked my head playfully.

But I wasn't in the mood and my head still ached. "Stop it!" I formed a snow ball and threw it at his face.

His laughing was cut off by a muffled yelp.

I started laughing at the snowball in his mouth. "Haha who's laughing now Frost?"

He got up. "Okay, okay, haha you got me."

I held my head in the air with pride. But as I started to let my guard down, Jack picked me up and started flying around my room.

"Oh my!" I screamed. "Jack stop!"

He started laughing. "I'm sorry what was that?"

I gasped. I couldn't tell him.. I was afraid of heights but o had no choice.

"Jack..." Tears were falling. "I'm serious.."

Jack stopped. His face full of guilt and sadness. He put me down gently on my bed.

"Elsa.." He started. "I'm so sorry.."

I took deep breaths and wiped away my tears. "Its okay."

He was sitting very close to me. Jack shook his head. "I shouldn't have done that.. I got carried away and-"

"Shh.. No Jack its not that.. I'm just afraid of heights.." I admitted and closed my eyes.

Jack looked stunned. "Afraid of.. Oh Elsa I'm so sorry, I should've known."

I shushed him again. "Its not your fault.. You didn't know."

Our eyes met and I didn't look away. I couldn't. I was lost in his blue, loving eyes. And maybe he felt the same way too. I felt my head lean forward.. It was a force I couldn't stop. I was so close to his face now. I felt his hand touch my cheek, stroking them gently. It felt so perfect for the first time until-

Knock! Knock! Knock!

We broke away as fast as lightening.

"I.. Um.." Jack stuttered.

"I should go open the door." I avoided his gaze.

I fixed my dress and walked towards the door. I opened it slowly to see a smiling face of my sister Anna.
