Aera collected herself enough to get out of the office, but halfway down the hall she started crying again, her body shaking so violently that she couldn't keep herself up. She sank down, her back against the wall, and she just sat there, crying. She didn't know how long she was crying for, but once she started she just couldn't stop. 

Her father. Had her father gotten fired because of her? Because she'd been close to Heeseung? Because they were dating? 

How'd his mother even find out?

She didn't want to break up with him. She just didn't. 

"Aera?" 

She looked up, seeing the very person she simultaneously most and least wanted to see. When they made eye contact, he immediately ran over to her, crouching down beside her and holding her in his arms. 

She felt so safe there, she never wanted to leave.

"What happened?" he whispered, his voice deadly quiet. "What did she say to you. I'm going to-" 

He started to stand up, but Aera grabbed his wrist, stopping him. "Please," she whispered. "Don't go. Don't leave me," she whimpered, her voice breaking again. 

Heeseung wrapped his arms around her. "Sweetheart, I'm never leaving you. I promise." 

"Can you just... can you just take me home?" she cried. "I want to go home. My home, not the dorms." 

"Of course," he said gently, standing up and pulling her up with him. He held onto her hand tightly, as though he was afraid she'd be taken from him at any moment. She held onto him even tighter. She was so scared. She didn't want to loose him. 

She didn't know what to do.

A/N

TOMORROW I'M HAVING A SNOW DAYYYY!! 

Even though school can and is done online (at my school we have half of the students in physical class, the other half online, and we alternate weeks) THEY'RE STILL GIVING US A SNOW DAYYYY!! YAY!!! 

I'm really happy, cause I reallyyyyy needed a snow day. I have a ton of work and now I can finally get it all done and have a little break too😅
