"He didn't come?" 

Aera sighed, shaking her head and closing the door behind her. She looked at K apologetically. "Sorry."

K shook his head. "Don't be sorry," he told her. "Just getting Heeseung is a big accomplishment." 

Heeseung grinned. "She won me over with her charm." 

She sighed again, unable to even argue this time. It was only her second day... honestly, this was her first real day, and she was already a failure. 

No. 

No, she didn't have to be. 

She squared her shoulders, taking a deep breath. "No," she said aloud. "I'm going to go back. I'm going to get him. And I'm going to drag him over here and make him practice." 

Sunoo laughed, "that's the spirit."

When she got outside, it was raining. Pouring, actually. But she didn't care. 

"I'm going to get him," she told herself, running through the rain. "I'm going to succeed." 

She ran all the way back to the ice rink, and by that time she was soaked and freezing. But it didn't matter. He was still there, not skating anymore, but drinking a cup of coffee under the canopy. 

He looked calm and happy, until he saw her. Then his face changed completely. 

"What are you doing?" he snapped, walking over to her. "Are you an idiot? Why would you come back through the rain?" 

"To get you," she said, her teeth chattering. She rubbed at her arms. "If you're nice person you'll come back with me quickly, before I freeze to death."

"If you were a smart person you wouldn't have come back in the first place," he told her. 

Aera laughed, pushing a strand of wet hair out of her eyes. "I'm not leaving until you come with me," she insisted, still shivering. She was definitely going to be sick. But she was determined to make sure her efforts wouldn't be in vain. 

Sunghoon glared at her for a long moment, and then he rolled his eyes, sighing in defeat. He took off his jacket, which was slightly wet, and put it over her shoulders. 

"Wait a second," he said, turning around and walking away. 

He came back a moment later, holding an umbrella. 

"Let's go," he grumbled, placing a hand on her shoulder and leading her out, opening the umbrella. 

"Thank you," she said softly, smiling at him as they walked together through the rain.
