Aera was pacing back and forth with her arms crossed under her chest staring thoughtfully at the floor. She hadn't seen Jimin in three days, actually since the night they had spent together, a night because when she woke up in the morning, there was no sign of him. He ignored her, quite purposefully at that, because she knew he was coming home, she heard him in the corridor, giving orders to someone, sometimes she even had the feeling that she heard him outside the bedroom door.

During the day, one of the men he usually left with her would bring her food, but as if they were forbidden to talk to her or even look at her, they came in and out, avoiding her gaze, not answering her questions and never forgetting to lock the door. Aera looked at the clock on the bedside table, it was noon, so soon one of them would come to bring her food, her gaze moved to the small table and the sofa opposite the bed. Her breakfast tray was untouched.

Lack of appetite was nothing new to Aera. Jimin thought that only he was hurt, that only he experienced their separation hard, that only he suffered, men, they are always at the center of everything. Aera experienced their separation in her own way, the consequences, at first frequent panic attacks, which led to high blood pressure, her medical record was full of history of times when she had been in the emergency room, as a result of another such attack.

The first months were really scary for her, after the first panic attack, Aera fell into depression, the fear that it would happen again locked her in her small apartment for weeks. The fear that what happened could be repeated somewhere outside terrified her and she simply closed herself off, relying on suppliers for everything she might need.

After several such attacks, she was advised to seek a psychologist, she was even prescribed medication, which she took for almost a year, mostly for her blood pressure, which jumped at the most unexpected times. And right now, she was under the influence of one of those episodes. Her forehead was throbbing and her vision was slightly blurry, Aera needed her pills, but after the way Jimin had brought her, he had barely taken them from her apartment.

She went back to the door and started pounding on it. "Hello, is anybody there?" Aera rubbed the tips of her fingers with her thumb, their trembling increasing, as did her heartbeat. "Ms. Park?" she rested her hands on the door and sighed hopefully. "What's your name?" she asked, trying to control her breathing. "Min Yoongi ,ma'am" answered the man at the door. "Mr. Min, I need help, can you unlock the door?" Aera asked, leaning her forehead against the cool wood.

"I'm sorry ,ma'am, your food will be arriving soon and..." she knocked on the door and he trailed off. "Mr. Min, please!" the throbbing in her forehead increased with every word he said and she started to feel nauseous, sweat broke out on her forehead, she needed her medicine. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Park, your husband..." Aera sighed, ignoring his next words. The bodyguard wasn't going to help her, so she had to think of something else before things got worse.

She went back to the table and her breakfast again, looking around, pancakes, marmalade, juice, nothing to help. Maybe if she took a shower, she started for the bathroom, her knees shaking, the warm water should relax her and calm the rising panic. "Why now..." Aera thought, her vision getting worse and she felt like her body was getting heavier with every step, making her move at a snail's pace.

"Ms. Park?" the bodyguard's voice came through the door, Aera tried to answer but was so focused on getting to the bathroom that nothing came out of her mouth. Her whole body was already shaking, her heart seemed to be skipping beats and Aera was panting. "Ms. Park?" the bodyguard's voice sounded in her ears as if from miles away. "Jimin...call Jimin...." she dropped to her knees and propped herself up on her hands just a foot away from the bathroom door.

"What are you doing..." Jimin furrowed his brows as Yoongi looked at him, his worried expression was something Jimin had never seen before, Yoongi usually looked like a painting, not even a muscle twitched on his face. "Sir, I think your wife isn't feeling well" Yoongi rubbed his neck nervously, making Jimin frown even more. "Unlock the door" he ordered and when Yoongi unlocked it, Jimin pushed him open the door.

"Jimin..." her hands seemed to soften and Aera slumped to her side, curling up into a ball, hyperventilating, she desperately turned her blurry gaze to the door, which opened and someone entered. "Aera!" her body was raised, a familiar smell captivated her senses, helping her focus on one thing and try to normalize her breathing. "Aera!" Jimin panicked, put her on the bed and sat next to her. "Aera, can you hear me?" he shook her slightly, she tried to say something, her eyes barely opened.

"Yoongi, call a doctor!" Jimin shouted without even looking at the man who was standing precariously in the doorway of the bedroom. "Aera, baby, look at me" she opened her eyes slightly but she didn't seem to see him, her body was shaking as if she was dying of cold and he laid down next to her, wrapping his arms around her body, pulling her onto his chest. "Baby?" what the hell is this, Jimin felt like he could feel her pulse even through their clothes, her face was white as canvas, her lips were blue and she was breathing like she was drowning.

"Jimin..." he smoothed the hair off her forehead, her voice barely audible but his name was all that came out of her mouth. "Where's the damn doctor, Yoongi?" Jimin yelled again, squeezing Aera hard. "Shower..." her voice sounded a little louder and he stood up, not letting go of her in his arms, walking towards the bathroom. "The doctor's on his way, sir" Jimin growled kicking the bathroom door open.

Jimin let go of her legs, holding her straight, she seemed to be made of jelly, her body slumped powerlessly against his, her head fell on his chest, her arms drooped like a dead man's. Jimin turned on the shower not caring that they were both still in their clothes. "Warm..." Aera whispered as the cold water hit the back of her head, Jimin immediately turned on the hot water and held her against him, brushing her already wet hair back.

After a few minutes he felt her breathing return, she buried her face in his neck and sighed. "My pills..." Jimin looked down at her, even under the warm water, her face was still pale and as if twisted in pain. "What pills?" he asked and she tried to raise her head, reaching back, probably trying to stop the water. Jimin did it for her and picked her up again, carrying her back to the bedroom. "Leave us and wait for the doctor out front" Jimin ordered and Yoongi nodded, closing the bedroom door behind him.

He placed her on the bed and returned to the bathroom, getting towels for both of them. Jimin tried to act quickly, before the doctor arrived, he undressed her and dried her, went into the dressing room and got new underwear and light pajamas and went back to Aera. Putting her pajamas on, he moved her to the sofa, then changed himself just in time to hear a knock at the door. "Sir, the doctor has arrived" Yoongi informed him and Jimin opened the door, letting the doctor in.

Jimin was too nervous to stand and just wait for the doctor to finish his examination, so he changed the wet sheets into new ones, carefully watching what the doctor was doing in the meantime. Aera was saying something to him but Jimin couldn't hear them, the doctor turned and looked at him briefly and he could have sworn he saw accusation in his eyes. "Sure, got it, this will help for now" the doctor reached into his bag, Jimin couldn't see what he was doing, but when Aera hissed in pain, Jimin couldn't take it anymore and moved closer to them.

The doctor stood up and bent down to close his bag, leaving the used injection wrapped in gauze on the small table. "Try to rest, Mrs. Park, and don't forget your pills anymore. I'll leave you a new prescription," he turned to Jimin, who kept his eyes on Aera's still pale face. "Mr. Park" the doctor handed him the new prescription and Jimin looked at it like an Indian looking at Egyptian hieroglyphics.

"Make sure your wife takes her pills regularly Mr. Park" Jimin lowered his eyebrows nodding. "Also, try to get her out for walks, the fresh air and socializing will help her prevent panic attacks, she shouldn't be confined, it only makes them worse and more frequent" Jimin nodded again, trying not to show that he has no idea what the doctor is talking about. "Let her also avoid red wine, with her blood, it will only worsen her condition, if she keeps it, let her consume white wine or something lighter, like liqueurs for example, although she rarely raises blood, if it happens like now, there is a danger to her heart can't stand it" the doctor walked to the door and Jimin signaled Yoongi to send him out.

Aera sat up and stared down at her lap. "Why didn't you tell me you needed medicine?" he asked, standing across from her, legs slightly apart and hands on his chest, still holding the prescription in his hands. Aera folded her hands, playing with her fingers. "I would if you were talking to me" she answered quietly and Jimin gritted his teeth. "Oh, so it's my fault now?" he asked coldly and she sighed, standing up. Her head was still slightly dizzy and Aera swayed, Jimin immediately dropped the arrogant pose, but before he could reach her, she held up a hand, stopping him.

"But I was man enough for you to keep it for me and let me take your virginity, right?" Jimin asked mockingly and Aera gasped blushing. Her hand slapped his cheek audibly and Jimin raised an eyebrow, looking at her coldly. "You're a jerk, Jimin!" he smirked, pulling her closer, his hand on her waist. "It's not a bad thing to get used to, my love, because I'll make sure to remind you at every opportunity that, jerk or not, you belong to me!" he pressed his lips to hers, his tongue forced open and penetrated her mouth.
