" Scotty..."

   " Y/n, I thought you left me. I-I thought-I thought you did what s-s-she did to me. "

You just stood there unable to do anything or say anything. You remembered the hearing devices that hung around your neck and wrist. You couldn't say or write anything you weren't supposed to. You couldn't even touch Scotty. He only held you but you couldn't hold him back. 

You felt sorrow as he hugged you tightly. You wanted to hug him back with all of the strength you possessed but you couldn't. Your arms remained glued to your sides and your face was ready to allow your tears to spill. 

   " Scotty, let me go. "

   " W-What? "

   " I said let me go, please. "

   " W-Why would I let you go? I've missed you and I didn't know where you had gone. I was scared something happened to you while you were at your friend's house. "

   ' Something did happen. '

Memories came back to the night he had forced you. You suddenly felt disgusted with yourself as you were still standing in front of Scotty with his arms around you. 

   " Just let me go. "

   " Y/n, what's wrong? What happened? Where did you go-"

You moved out of his arms and started walking to work. You didn't look back as you kept walking. You wanted to cry because of what you did. You left Scotty just like his past love did. You didn't want to but you were being forced to. 

A hand grabbed your arm and turned you around. Scotty stood in front of you once more but he gripped your arms tightly this time instead of hugging you.

   " Y/n, why won't you talk to me? Why can't you just let me hold you? "

   " Scotty, I'm sorry but you need to let me go. "

   " What do you mean by that? "

   " I need to go to work or I'll be late. "

   " I don't care about you going to work! I want to know why you went missing and what happened to you. You're so cold now. You won't let me even hold you for more than 5 minutes. "

   " I need to go to work. "

   " Y/n...Please just talk to me. What's going on? "

   " I can't tell you. Now let me go. "

He let go of your arms and you turned around to start walking away. 

   " Where is your stuff? I'll take it back to our room at home. "

   ' Our home. '

   " Don't worry about it. "

   " Does that Malcolm guy know? You guys always talked a lot and I thought you two were close friends. Maybe I should go ask him what's wrong with you. " He said mumbling that last part.

You stopped walking and faced him. You grabbed his arms, this time, and held him tightly. You shook your head at him.

   " Don't ever go to that flower shop again! Don't go near there! "

   " Why? "

   " Just don't! "

With that, you stormed off to work. You went inside your building and went to your work floor. When you got to your desk you turned your computer on and started working on what you missed while you were being held captive. A seat was pulled up beside you and you looked over to see Luz sit down. She was smiling brightly at you, with a new glow.

   " Good morning Luz. "

   " Good morning. Are you feeling better? "

   " Much. "

   " Where were you by the way? I went to your house but you weren't home any day I went to see you. "

   " I was at a friend's place when I got sick so they made me stay there to take care of me. "

   " Oh, I see. Well, I have some news to tell you. "

   " What is it? "

   " Carmen and I are moving in together and we are officially together as a couple. "

   " Really? " You said raising your voice. 

   " Yes! She asked me on a date earlier this week and it went so well that I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes! "

   " Well, congratulations Luz! I'm so happy for you. You deserve some happiness in your life. "

   " Thank you. So how are you and Scotty doing? "

   " ... "

   ' What do I tell her about that? I literally have no idea what to say about Scotty. I don't want to pull any people into this situation. I want help but not when it'll drag someone in with me and they could be killed. '

   " We are us. "

   " Are you sure? You didn't sound too sure about that statement. "

   " I'm sure. We should probably start working. Especially me, I have a lot of work to do since I missed a week's worth. "

   " Yeah, you have plenty to do. I'll see you later. "

   " Bye. "

Luz left your station and went to her own. You got back to work on the papers and reports that needed to be looked over and signed. You were so focused in your work that when your phone buzzed it made you jump. You pulled your phone from your pocket and looked at the message.

   ' You're in trouble flower. Oh shit. '
