I exit the gym and am greeted by Cheren and Bianca.  Cheren is having an existential crisis and Bianca is just trying to cope with how weak she is by surrounding herself with cute pokemon.  Brycen walks out of the gym and demands that the Shadow Triad show themselves.  They say that Ghetsis wants me to come to Dragonspiral Tower.  It is there that N waits for me.  Brycen finds this suspicious and goes to Dragonspiral Tower.  Cheren follows him.  Bianca decides she will go too.

I go to the tower and catch Golett that I name Zuckerburg because Facebook.  The tower keeps shaking and something is apparently happening at the top of the tower.  I now remember why repels are needed in this game.  I cannot move more than three spaces without running into a Golett.  It's annoying.

I found a Shiny Stone in the cave which I could have used to evolve Cappuccino but she's dead so...

I get close to the top of the tower but Team Plasma Grunts start trying to defeat me in a pokemon battle because I'm disobeying their orders by coming to where they told me to come to?  I don't know.  It doesn't really matter since Snakemoji defeated them easily.  It just seemed odd to me.

I reach the top of the tower and I see him.  N is standing in front of the legendary pokemon Zekrom.  He says he plans on heading towards the Pokemon League to defeat the Champion with Zekrom.  He tells me that if I want any chance of beating him the I must become a hero myself by finding the Light Stone.  Alder arrives and tells us that the Light Stone may be in Relic Castle which is where I will go!

I make it to the Relic Castle which is buried under sand.   I enter the castle and find a doctor.  He's not important but he's there.  As I travel down the castle, I find and fight members of Team Plasma who aren't any challenge since I had to level up so much.  Cheren and I get to the bottom of the castle and see Alder and Ghetsis.  Ghetsis says that the Light Stone isn't there but once we leave the castle Professor Juniper calls me and tells me to get to the museum right now!  Which means I'll explore the castle a bit more in case there's something here that I want.

There isn't.

Killer flies me back to Nacrene City and I race into the museum.  Alder, Cedric, Juniper, and Bianca are all waiting for me outside.  Lenora joins us and is like, "This white stone I found in the Desert Resort is the Light Stone, right?"  The answer is probably!  Lenora is about to hand me the stone when Alder objects.  Taking this stone means that I must battle N and that Unova's fate is in the hands of my pokemon and I.  Am I really okay with that?

There's a moment that changes a life when we do something that no one else can and the path that we've taken will lead us to one final stand.

I take the stone.

Everyone wishes me luck and safety before realizing that we have no idea how to awaken the other dragon.  Alder and Lenora tell me to go to Opelucid City.  The Gym Leader of that city uses Dragon-type Pokemon so surely he'll know what to do!  Right?  Then Alder flies away and I start heading towards Opelucid City.

I think I got lost but I found a Shelmet so let's see if I can catch it!  Nope!  Gelato killed it.  Okay I know where I am and now Bianca wants to battle me so let's do this.  She actually put up a fight but only got Schwump in the red because I had a misclick.  I'm proud of where Bianca has come as a trainer.

On Tubeline Bridge, I am greeted by Ghetsis and the Shadow Triad.  Ghetsis gives me a pat on the back for getting the Light Stone then tells me that I will lose against N.  We'll see about that.

I get to Opelucid City and am greeted by Alder.  He leads me to where Ghetsis is preaching about Pokemon Liberation again.  He's speaking of N and how he has combined his power with the legendary Dragon-type Pokemon and intends to create a new world.  Although N is the man of my dreams and is the only one for me, I can't believe he would actually do this...

I get the chance to meet Drayden and Iris!  I remember her!  She was there when Bianca's pokemon was stolen back in Castelia City!  Good times...  Iris takes me to Drayden's house where he tells me about Reshiram and Zekrom, the legendary dragon-type pokemon. 

The story is that there were once two brothers known as the "Twin Heroes."  The older  brother followed truth while the younger brother followed ideals.  They also shared a dragon.  When the two brother disagreed and went their separate ways, the dragon could not decide which side to pick and ended up splitting into two halves.  These halves became known as the dragon of Ideals, Zekrom, and the dragon of truth, Reshiram.

 Drayden said he will be awaiting me to challenge the gym.  Here we go.  I quickly run onto Route 10 and grab a Dusk Stone and do a bit of training to get my pokemon to a higher level for the challenge ahead.  Gelato evolved into Vanilluxe and Schwump evolved into a Chandelure so we have a good looking team!

After solving the puzzle and beating the trainers in the gym, I made to Drayden.  This is my final gym challenge.  Let's do this!

His first pokemon is Fraxure that goes down to a single Ice Beam from Gelato.  Next is his Druddigon which meets the same fate as his Fraxure.  The last pokemon he has is Haxorus but even the mighty Haxorus meets the deadly fate of Gelato's Ice Beam.  

And with that battle, we earn the Legend Badge from Drayden.  With all eight badges, I am finally strong enough to take on the Elite Four.
