After beating the first gym, I felt good about my team.  I was doing well!  Some scientist lady gave me a gear thing, but I just kinda half-listened while waiting to move on with the story.  Bianca and I went to the Dreamyard and saved a Munna from some Team Plasma grunts.  I also caught a Patrat there and my cousin told me to name her Preg Jr. and I will never understand why.

I then continued onto Route 3.  I beat two toddlers in a double battle and Bianca ran up to me and asked me to help this random kid get her pokemon back.  Cheren and I followed some Team Plasma grunts into a cave and quickly beat them.  After that mess was over, I picked up an Audino on Route 3 which got the name Glag Sham.  I also went back to the cave and caught a Woobat that I named Pills Hoh, but he went into the box since the team is full.

I got to Nacrene City and began training in Pinwheel Forest where I caught a Tympole and named him BBLS bc I'm obsessed with RWBY and thought it was neat.  While training in Pinwheel Forest, a Pidove landed a critical hit, which was just enough to kill Wet Paul.  Not going to lie, that death hurt.  I loved him like he was my son and I am dedicating this next gym badge to him.  I also hate Pidoves now.  So with Pills Hoh joining the team, it's time to grind more before taking on the gym.

While training, Borffy evolved into a Herdier and Snakemoji evolved into a Servine.  I love them so much.  I'm training my pokemon while writing this, and I have a strange feeling that one of my pokemon is going to die during this gym challenge.  Speaking of dying, Glag Sham died when a Timburr used Bide on her.  May she rest in peace.  Now BBLS is on the team and I have a water type again.   Nevermind, BBLS died, so there goes that positive aspect.

As I entered the gym, but he blocked my path.  It was as if fate had brought us together again.  I believe it is my destiny to be with this man.  Oh, I'm talking about N.  He's here, and he challenged me to a Pokemon battle.  I beat him with little trouble and he gave me money for it.  Such a considerate man!  He said something about getting Zekrom and I hope he has good luck with that.

I went into the Gym but this scientist guy started showing me around the museum half and it was cool I guess but not what I came here for.  I walked into the back room.  It's a library.  After solving the puzzle and having a close call with one trainer, I decided to take on the gym leader.

I walked down the stairs and come face to face with the gym leader, Lenora.  She starts the battle by sending out her Herdier.  I send out Borffy to show her that my Herdier is the superior dog.  Lenora's Herdier takes itself out with the recoil from Take Down.  Watchog is next and I send out Pills Hoh.  Somehow, against all odds, Pills Hoh confuses Watchog and we get a win with Watchog attacking itself every chance it could.  Surprisingly, we had no deaths during this gym battle!  With that battle finished, we obtain the Basic Badge from Lenora.
