Adrien's POV:

           Adrien waits on the night of the date for her to arrive. He looks at his watch. He sees it is way past the time she agreed to come.  He is about to tell the stadium staff members to turn the lights off.   He sighs as he turns around in defeat.

             "Where did I go all wrong?" Adrien asks.

               Adrien thinks that Marinette stood him up.  He sits on the bleachers with his head down. He begins to sob as he thinks it is over before it begins, is it not?  He is so caught up in his self-pity he does not see her. 
 

      Nino's POV:

         Nino recalls how Adrien asks him to come out tonight to help him. He came as soon as he found out it was for Marinette. He thought well, Alya will be pleased. He hopes it goes well for Adrien.

             Now, he sees his buddy cry in shame and thinks it is to bad.  He wishes it would work out, but perhaps his best friend is meant to be alone.

           "Adrien, I  am sorry, dude," Nino says. 

             "Nino, not now," Adrien says sadly.

                 Nino sees a certain Bluenette run past them to the pitcher's mound and grins. He thinks yes she did come.  

                "Dude, look over there man," Nino states as he nudges Adrien in the elbow.

       Marinette's  POV:

        Marinette rushes out the door in a hurry to get there. She knows she is late. She feels so bad about it.  She arrives within a few minutes after she left her place. She feels nervous with worry that something will go wrong. She enters the stadium, and past the guard who whistles at her.

          She runs to the pitcher's mound and sees the microphone is still in place. She smiles and begins to sing. She does not pay attention to anything else.  She wonders where Adrien could be as she sings.

           She finishes the song and hears someone clap for her.  She gasps in surprise.

   Adrien's  POV:

    Adrien thinks, not now man.

      He looks to see what Nino goes on about though.

         His heart flutters in happiness when he sees she is there.  

            He hears her sing and blushes as he thinks, she was late.

               "She came," Adrien says happily.

              "It sure looks like it," Nino replies.

              "She is forty-five minutes late, but she is here!" Adrien blurts out.

             "Dude, you need to chill," Nino says.  He rolls his eyes.

                  He can tell Nino is happy for him rather he says so or not.  He stands up and claps for her as she finishes the song.

                 "It was beautiful you know, just like you!" He blurts out.

              Marinette's POV:

                    "What?" Marinette yells from where she stands.

                     Adrien runs towards her, and says, "I repeat, it was beautiful you know, just like you."

                         "Beautiful, me?" Marinette asks.

                           "Yes, you," Adrien says softly.

                               "I am not all that you know," Marinette protest.

                            She thinks, so this is it, huh? She wonders why he wants to see her here of all places.

                          "Why here?" Marinette asks.

                     Adrien's  POV:

                            He grins at her as she asks, "Why here?"

                              "It is because it is where I first saw you and heard you sing like an angel," Adrien says.

                             Marinette looks away afraid she does not know how to respond.  It is just to good to be true.  It can not be happening to her. 

                             Adrien sees her staring at the stars and grins. He sees a falling star and makes a wish.  He only hopes she can understand and will not run away this time.

                             "Mari, I feel in love with you, here," Adrien confesses.

                                 Marinette turns around and laughs.  

              Adrien can not believe it she laughs at his romantic confession.

                He hands her the flowers anyway.  "What is so funny?" He asks.

                        "It is just you are not supposed to confess on the first date," She tells him.

                           "Ah, but this is our second date," Adrien reminds her.

                Marinette's POV:

                       She laughs as he confesses so soon. She never thought he was the type to do so.

                         She takes the flowers he hands her.  She can tell he does not know what to do with her.

                          She smirks as he asks, "What is so funny?"

                            Marinette answers, "It is just you are not supposed to confess on the first date."
               
                              "Ah, but this is our second date," Adrien reminds her.

                             "Adrien Agreste, that is not the point and you know it, "Marinette says.

                                  Marinette sees him grin at her and she smiles back. 

                               She knows his confession was not a mistake as she can see the love in his smile and his eyes. She blushes in response.

                             Marinette's  POV:
 
                          "Then, what is the point, my lady?" Adrien asks.

                              "You can hardly call me your lady when ..." Marinette starts to say.

                     Marinette feels something smooth and gentle press against her lips as he kisses her. 

                                   She pulls away in surprise with tears in her eyes.

                                       "What is the matter?" Adrien asks.

                                       "It is just that was my first kiss ever," Marinette confesses.

                                  Nino's POV:

                                        Nino gets some photos of Adrien talking to Marinette. 

                              He even takes a few as Adrien leans in and kisses her. 

                            He thinks, wow, Alya is going to be so surprised and happy for them.

                                     Nino walks away before he can disturb the happy couple. 

                                       He heads home to call Alya.

                             Adrien's POV:            

                                  Adrien looks at Marinette with love. He is glad he kissed her.

                                     He feels her pull away and sees tears in her eyes.

                                      "What is the matter?" Adrien asks.

                                       "It is just that was my first kiss ever," Marinette confesses.

                                     "I  did not mean to make you feel uncomfortable," Adrien says.

                                          "Adrien, I..." Marinette tries to say.

                                           "Yes, Mari?" Adrien asks.

                                  Marinette's  POV:

                                   Marinette hears him apologize. She thinks you do not need too.

                                     "Adrien, I..." She tries to say.

                                      "Yes, Mari?" Adrien asks.

                                                 Marinette kisses him and feels him relax as he plays with her hair. 

                                      She feels him respond with a return kiss. 

                                          She knows for sure now she loves him too.

                                          "I love you, too," Marinette confesses.

                                            "You do?" Adrien asks.

                                              "Yes," Marinette answers.

                                  Narrator's POV:

                                  Adrien takes her hand and the two leave the stadium together. They have a splendid second date.  

                It goes so well, Marinette wonders what the rest of their relationship will be like. 

                  She blushes big time.
