Chapter 42

Days had passed and Tyron was still in the hospital to recover from the damage he suffered, that cause him to stay there for a long time. Meanwhile, Amara goes back and forth to the hospital to took a good care and look after her bedridden husband.

While their children have returned home and back to their happy, normal lives.

Ngayon ay abala si Amara sa pag-aasikaso ng kanilang Bakeshop. Since Tyron was being shot by a gun, Amara hasn't done anything and she rarely went to the establishment, due to lack of time and taking care for the needs of her children.

"Ate Amara, ito na po 'yung latest list of orders natin. Nagkaproblema po tayo sa isang supplier, pero nagawan ko na po ng paraan at nakahanap na ako ng supplier na makukuhanan ng harina." ani Jackie habang inilatag ang isang papel sa office table ni Amara.

"Haaayyy... I'm really glad that I have you around, Jackie. Thank you." she thanked her with a pleasant smile.

"No worries po Ate... I'm happy that sir Tyron's condition has improved."

"I always thank GOD for that, Jackie. Ang bilis ng recovery niya at maigi na rin na nasa hospital muna siya, atleast naroon na lahat ng medications na kakailanganin ni Tyron."

"Amen..." nakangiting pagsang-ayon ni Jackie sa dalaga. "Anyways, just call me if you need anything, Ate." pamamaalam nito kay Amara.

"Alright! Once again, thank you." she said, and Jackie just nodded as an answer.

Daytime quickly passed and Amara is on her way back to the hospital to watch again her husband. While her attention was focused straight on the road, she suddenly noticed in the rearview mirror that she had been followed by a white car.

Nang umalis siya kanina sa Heaven Ty's Pasteleria, she already noticed this vehicle. Who also left, exactly at the time when she leave the establishment.

"There's only one way to find out, kung sinusundan mo nga talaga ako." she said, before turning the vehicle right, into a one way street there.

Amara has turned her steering wheel several times, para makasigurado kung talagang sinusundan nga siya ng puting sasakyan na iyon.

She just cussed when she saw that the vehicle was still behind her car, "Damn it! What do you want, you freak?!" she mumble, while thinking about what she would do to escape from that lunatic.

After a few seconds of planning the scenes, Amara quickly moves the gear shift and stepped on the gas pedal to power up the fuel of the vehicle. She drove swiftly off the white car that kept on following her. Good thing, that she has the ability to drive fast, but painstaking, and immediately misled it.

When she knew that the coast was clear, she decided to drift herself straight to the hospital, to where she was really going.

Amara quickly reached the hospital, and her brows suddenly curve a knot, seeing Tyron's temporary room was slightly opened. She slowly pushed the door and her eyes widen, when she saw Cassie, standing on the edge of Tyron's hospital bed.

"Cassie!" sigaw niya rito, na siyang dahilan para tapunan siya ng dalaga nang matatalim na tingin.

Amara's eyes grew wider, when she saw that Cassie pulled out her gun before pointing it to her husband, who was sleeping deeply. When she was about to approach her, Cassie suddenly shouted and said, "Just stay there, Amara. Kung hindi papasabugin ko ang ulo ng asawa mo!"

She immediately moves back and spoke to Cassie, "O-okay... Okay... Lalayo na ako." aniya bago umatras habang ang mga kamay ay iminumustra, na parang nagsasabing wag nitong ituloy ang kanyang binabalak. "Maawa ka Cassie, itigil mo na ito..."

Cassie just smirked at her, "So, you're begging for a mercy?" she sarcastically said, bago itinutok ang gatilyo sa kanyang sentido. "You're begging for a mercy, na ipinagkait niyo sa amin ng kapatid ko. Ha?!" at that point Cassie's emotion was suddenly burst because of hatred.

"We do not intend to put you and Ginger in jail. Inisip lang namin ang kapakanan ng mga anak namin, maniwala ka..." Amara explained her point.

"Liar! You really think that I'm stupid enough to know, na iniisahan mo lang ako. Ha?!" Cassie shouted before unlocking the gun's safety pin. "I asked this f*cking husband of yours politely to turn down the case you filed against us! But you're all bastards, won't listen! Itinuloy niyo pa rin! Might as well na magsama-sama na tayong lahat sa impiyerno, para masaya! Hahaha!"

"Babe!" Out of the blue, Tyron suddenly exclaimed at her before taking the gun at Cassie.

Ngunit sadyang tuso si Cassie at mabilis nitong naiputok sa ulo ng binatang si Tyron ang baril, na siyang dahilan para bumulagta ito sa sahig.

"Babeeeee!" sigaw ni Amara habang patuloy sa pag-agos ang kanyang mga luha.

Nasa ganoong sitwasyon ang dalaga nang bigla niyang marinig ang isang pamilyar na boses, na siyang dahilan para mapabalik ito sa realidad.

"Babe! Babe! Wake up!" tapik ni Tyron sa pisngi ng kanyang asawa.

Napabalikwas naman si Amara nang maramdaman ang bahagyang pagyugyog sa kanya ni Tyron. Pawisan at puno ng butil-butil na pawis ang mukha pati na ang leeg ng dalaga dahil sa kanyang masamang panaginip.

"Babe!" sigaw ni Amara saka yumakap ng mahigpit kay Tyron.

"Shhhhh... Hush now babe," alo nito sa kanyang asawa habang hinahaplos ang buhok nito. "You're dreaming and I think hindi maganda ang panaginip mong iyon."

"I thought it was real, I thought Cassie really killed you! I'm so scared babe..." humahagulgol niyang saad habang nakayapos kay Tyron.

"It's just a bad dream, babe... And besides Cassie is in jail, she can't harm you and our family, again." ani Tyron bago humiwalay sa kanilang pagkakayapos. Mataman niyang tiningnan si Amara sa mga mata nito sabay sabing, "I won't let anything happens to our family, Amara. Magpapakatatag ako para mas maprotektahan ko pa kayo ng mga bata. Mahal na mahal kita, babe."

"Mas mahal kita, Tyron. Promise me, you will never leave my side again."

"I promise..." after that Tyron gave his wife a peck of a kiss on her lips and said, "I love you so much, babe."

"I love you more, Tyron." she replied, and seconds have passed, when Amara tightened her arms around Tyron.
