Chapter 41

AMARA's POV:

I am here now outside the operating room with my children, awaiting for the result of Tyron's operation. Every time I close my eyes, the horrible incident repeatedly flashes in my memory. I still remember that terrifying scene, where I saw Tyron and Cassie struggle for the possession with a gun.

Flashback

When I read Tyron's note, I quickly ran to the security, to tell them what babe really wanted. But everyone has failed to trace the number that Cassie uses, for the reason that the number she has used is restricted.

That lead me nothing but to throw myself back to Tyron's office pad. When I entered the room, my forehead suddenly furrowed, when I did not see him anywhere in his office, "Babe..." I called him, but there's no sign that can teach me where he was.

I was about to step out of his pad, when I suddenly saw another letter over Tyron's desk. I quickly took it and my right hand swiftly jumped up with my mouth, because of what's written on the small piece of paper.

Block 14 lot 7, One Antonio Village

If anything happens to me babe, I want you to know that I love you and our kids so much. I'm saving Tyler because Cassie took him. Call the police when you read this.

When I read his note, I immediately took my car key's and left his office to call the security and went to the police station, to get some help.

"Mia, ikaw na ang bahala sa mga bata. I need to find Tyler." I hurriedly said to her.

"Sige po, Ate. Mag-iingat po kayo."

Instead of responding at her, I just nodded as an answered. But as soon as I was about to ride on my car, there was a police mobile suddenly stopped in front of Anderson's Tower.

My brows wrinkled, seeing the police officer came out of the mobile and seconds had passed my eyes grew wider, when I saw Tyler drift next to that man.

"Naynay!" He outcried, and quickly ran toward where I was standing.

"Tyler!" I exclaimed back, before kneeling on the floor. We hugged each other, while my tears are starting to outflow down on my cheeks. "I'm glad you're okay, I'm so worried about you, little guy." humihikbing saad ko, bago ako humiwalay sa aming pagkakayapos.

"Stop crying na po, Naynay." Tyler sweetly said, while wiping my tears using his school uniform.

We were in that position, when the police officer suddenly cleared his throat to evoke my attention, "Ehem... Good afternoon po, Mrs. Anderson." He greeted, so I immediately stood on my knees and greeted him back.

"Good Afternoon, Officer. Salamat po sa pagsagip sa anak ko." I thanked him, for saving my son and in his grateful goodness.

"Wala po iyon, Misis. Actually, tumawag lang po sa amin ang eskwelahan kung saan nag-aaral ang inyong anak. At nasabi nga po nila na may babaeng nagtangkang kidnap-in itong bata, pero mabuti na lang at nanlaban ang anak niyo kaya napansin agad ng guwardiya ang pangyayari."

The Police Man, explained everthing. And thank GOD, dahil binigyan niya ng lakas ng loob si Tyler para labanan si Cassie.

I've secured the security of my children first, before I went to the Police Station, to help Tyron. Kanina ko pa siya tinatawagan para sabihin na hindi nagtagumpay si Cassie sa pagtangka nito kay Tyler, pero hindi siya sumasagot sa aking mga tawag.

The night quickly claimed the daytime, when we finally reach the abandoned place. The village was too dark and obviously neglected, because of its phases and appearance.

Nakasakay ako ngayon, sa isa sa tatlong Police Mobile na dadakip kay Cassie. We quietly entered the dark place, but we suddenly heard a gunfire in the distance.

"Men, move out!" rinig kong nagradyo ang isang pulis sa two-way radio transceiver, na walkie talkie.

"Mrs. Anderson, dito lang po kayo." A police officer told me before I found them out of its mobile one by one, slowly and silently.

They slowly walked toward the three-story house, while leading each other to where the right position where they should post.

I am worried about Tyron, I can't just stay in this mobile doing nothing. Sa sobrang pag-aalala ko kay babe, mabilis akong bumaba ng sasakyan bago tumakbo patungo sa pintuan ng lumang bahay, kung saan naroon si Tyron.

"Misis, delikado kayo rito." bungad sa akin ng isang pulis na naka-antabay doon.

"No! Kailangan ako ng asawa ko, sasama ako sa loob." pagmamatigas ko rito.

"Wag na ho matigas ang ulo misis. Alvarez, pakidala si Mrs. Anderson sa sasakyan." nang akmang aalalayan na ako pabalik sa police mobile narinig kong biglang nagsalita si Cassie sa loob.

"You really think that I am stupid as moron like you, huh?!" pumaloob ang malakas na tinig nito sa buong kabahayan.

That's the signal for me to run quickly inside the old abandoned house. I saw that Cassie's gun pointed at my husband, "Sumuko ka na, Cassie!" bungad ko sa may pintuan kasunod ang mga pulis.

Tyron and Cassie were quickly turned to where I was standing and I saw the anger on that woman's face, "B*tch!" She said before pointing the gun at me.

Tyron immediately stopped Cassie, the reason for the gunshot hit the ceiling. Everything happened so fast, and I really don't know what shall I do with the situation. I just came back to reality when I heard a loud gun blast.

"Tyron!" I exclaimed, seeing my husband lying on the floor. I was struck by the moment I saw the scattered blood on his white long sleeves. "Babe!" humahagulgol kong saad bago ko mabilis na tinakbo ang aking duguang asawa, na nakahandusay sa sahig.

"S-sweetie..." rinig kong bulong ni Cassie, dahilan para balingan ko ito ng matalim na tingin.

"You evil monster! Look what you did with my husband! Curse you!" singhal ko sa kanya bago binalingang muli si Tyron. "B-babe... Hold on, please. Wag mo akong iiwan." humahagulgol kong saad habang yakap-yakap ko siya ng sobrang higpit.

"B...babe... I-I love... I love y-you..." Tyron tearfully told me while struggling to fight the pain he felt at the moment.

"I love you too, babe... Please, lumaban ka."

We quickly got Tyron to the hospital, and go straight to the emergency room. I was left alone outside the E.R. hoping and praying for my husband's safety and survive this test.

While on the other hand, Cassie was finally arrested by the police. She tried to escape again, but the officers won't let her get away, she can't get away for the sins that she has commited. No, not this time!

"Saka ko na siya haharapin, kapag ayos na ang kalagayan ng asawa ko...."

End of Flashback

I just returned to reality when I felt someone holding my shoulder, "Hija..." It was Mommy Cris, who evoke me back from my own sanity.

"Mommy..." saad ko rito bago umayos sa aking pagkakaupo.

"Here, I brought you a coffee." aniya saka iniabot sa akin ang kape na nasa papercup.

"Salamat po."

Mommy Cris was about to speak again, when the emergency door suddenly swang open. The doctor immediately went out the room, before facing me and Mommy Cris, "Are you the patient's family?"

"I'm his wife, Doctor. How was he?" kabado kong tanong dito, dahil hindi ko na ata kakayanin kung may mangyari pa kay Tyron sa kabila ng mga pinagdaanan namin.

"Mrs. Anderson... Many bloodshed was lost to your husband and..." pambibitin nito sa kanyang sasabihin.

"What's the matter, Doc? Is my husband, alright?" I tried to straighten my voice to avoid it from stammering and most of all cracking, because honestly my whole body starting to tremble.

"We made a successful operation, but we are still unsure if your husband will not have a complication because some of his internal organs have been affected by the gunshot. Pero wag po kayo mag-alala misis, we will do our best to save him."

"Please, do everything for my husband, Doc." pagmamakaawa ko rito habang ang aking buong katawan ay nanghihina na.

"We will..." and after that the doctor quickly turned his back on us. That left me feeling fainted.

"Hija, ipagdasal na lang natin na maging maayos ang asawa mo. Tyron is a fighter, I'm sure malalampasan ito ng anak ko." ani Mommy Cris habang dinadamayan ako sa lungkot na nararamdaman ko ngayon.

After an hour, I silently went to the Chapel and prayed for Tyron's fast recovery, "Lord, alam ko po na masyado na akong maraming naipagdasal sa inyo. Heto na naman po ako, humihiling at nagdarasal na sana ay gumaling ang asawa kong si Tyron at malampasan naming muli ang pagsubok na kinakaharap namin ngayon. Please, humihingi po ako ng awa niyo dahil hindi ko na po kakayanin na mawala pa ulit si Tyron sa buhay ko, sa buhay namin ng mga anak ko. Maraming Salamat po, Amen."
