Chapter 31

When Tyron found out about Ginger and Cassie's concealed identities, he's now been more aware of his secretary's revengeful act's. He made sure that he would spy and observed more on Ginger secretly, to know what her plans are for his family.

"Gin, coffee please." Tyron says in the intecom.

"Right away sir." tanging sagot naman ng dalaga sa kabilang linya.

"Make it two, please." pahabol pa ng binata.

"Noted sir." Ginger said and after that the intercom line went off.

Tyron leaned his back on his black swivel chair, before his hands were twine together. While both of the arm chairs supported his elbows and its full weight.

He patiently waited a few minutes for Ginger's entrance into his office pad, to have a little chit chat with her and to know what life she has before she worked for him as his secretary.

Tyron wants to know what or how she's going to tell the story of her life, even though he had already been deeply aware of Ginger's life. Ika nga nila, keep your friends close and your enemies closer to know them better and what they intend to do to you.

People also said, that you might know something immediately, when you talk to someone intensive and vividly, "So, there's nothing to be lost if I try to converse with her, right?" Tyron says with himself.

He was in his deepest thoughts when he heard his office door swang open. Tyron composed himself when he saw Ginger entered on his office.

"Here's your black coffee sir." saad ng dalaga nang maibaba nito ang maliit na kopita sa ibabaw ng lamesa ni Tyron.

When Ginger placed the coffee on the table, she swiftly bowed to Tyron and after that she quickly turns her back before leaving the office.

"Ginger..." tawag ni Tyron sa pangalan ng kanyang sekretarya.

Ginger briskly face him and says, "Is there a problem, sir?"

Mabilis namang umayos ng upo si Tyron bago ipinatong ang kanyang mga braso sa ibabaw ng lamesa, "Sit down first." usal ng binata bago binalingan ang upuan sa harap ng kanyang office table.

He saw that Ginger's brows furrowed while her eyes were asking, so he quickly stood up and walk towards the window, "Don't worry may pag-uusapan lang tayo." Tyron said before facing the other building.

Ginger doesn't have a choice, so she just shrugged her shoulders and quickly sit in the chair. She sluggishly looked at her boss, as if asking for what they were talking about,

"Sir, m-may problema po ba?" Ginger simply asks.

When Tyron heard Ginger's voice, he immediately turned around to fake a smile with her and said, "No no, we don't have problem. I just wanted us to talk." he replied coolly, before walking to his seat.

A moment of silence was between them. Tyron did not know where to start a convesation, so he just clear his throat and said, "Gin, tell me about yourself." panimula ng binata.

Halatang nagulat naman si Ginger sa sinabi nito, kaya't mabilis siyang napaiwas ng tingin sabay sabing, "What specifically do you want me to tell you, sir?" She skeptically said before she looked at Tyron dryly.

Hindi naman nagpatinag sa mga tingin nito si Tyron at nilabanan niya din ito nang tingin sabay sabing, "Anything, as long as related to you. Before you worked here at my company. Family, or even siblings?" mapang-usisang tanong ng binata bago ipinagsaklob ang kanyang mga kamay sa ibabawa ng mesa.

Ginger's suddenly groaned silently over Tyron's questions. Iniisip niya kung bakit biglang naging interesado ito sa kanyang buhay, gayong mag-iisang taon na siyang nagta-trabaho rito.

Hindi kaya may alam na si Tyron tungkol sa amin ni Sandy? Ginger asks herself. She just took a moment to think first, because honestly, she felt really nervous of the thoughts that Tyron already knew things about her.

"I'm just living on my own, sir." anito bago nilingon ang kanyang boss.

"What a total Liar!" Tyron angrily said to himself. Gustong-gusto na niyang sabihin na alam na niya ang totoo sa pagkatao ng dalaga. Ngunit mas pinili ni Tyron na pakalmahin ang kanyang sarili para hindi ma-trigger, ang masamang plano ni Ginger sa kanyang pamilya.

"Really? Ehem... How about relatives, I'm sure meron kang kamag-anak dito sa Manila?"

Mabilis umiling si Ginger sa binata sabay sabing, "None, mag-isa na lang po ako sa buhay sir. Hindi ko po nakilala ang mga relatives ko both sides."

Tyron was convinced of what she said. He thought that Ginger was too elusive, so he quickly thought of a way to convince her to stop doing what their plan and her vengeance to his family.

"You know what Ginger? Family is one of the most important thing in the world. Kaya nga noong nagkaroon kami ng mga anak ni Amara, I told myself that I needed to protect them as far as I can. Kahit buhay ko itataya ko para lang maprotektahan sila." seryosong usal ni Tyron bago sumimsim ng kape.

"I know I ain't no saint, nor perfect or virtuous, I've done something wrong in my past. Wrong in a way na nakasakit ako ng mga tao because of my misdoing. I admit that I've hurt women before, hindi ko iniisip ang feelings nila basta ayoko na, ayoko na. But everything changed because of Amara, hindi naging madali ang relasyon namin. Maraming naging hadlang, but we manage to work things out because of our love for each other."

Lingid sa kaalaman ni Tyron ay nagpupuyos sa galit na ang kalooban ni Ginger, dahil sa mga sinasabi nito tungkol sa kanila ni Amara. Hindi naman niya ipinahalata ito sa binata, pero sa loob-loob niya ay gusto na niya itong sisihin dahil si Tyron ang dahilan kung bakit nadisgrasya si Cassie sa America.

Napabalik na lang ito sa realidad nang magsalitang muli si Tyron, "Kaya nga if given a chance, I will apologize to those people who've got hurt because of me. I will sincerely tell them na hindi ko sinasadyang maging insensitive sa feelings nila."

Tyron was surprised when Ginger suddenly stood up, "Hey are you alright?" kunot noong tanong niya rito.

"I'm fine sir, can I go now?" nagpipigil sa galit na turan nito.

Wala sa sariling napatango na lang si Tyron at nakita niyang mabilis na lumakad papalabas ng kanyang opisina si Ginger, na hindi man lang hinintay ang kanyang kasagutan.

Ginger hurried over to the bathroom, thereby releasing her resentment. Nagpabalik-balik ito sa paglalakad sa harap ng mga cubicle habang kinakagat pa ang kanyang kuko, "This isn't right!" balisang anas nito bago napasabunot ng kanyang buhok.

"Why am I feeling this way? I should be angry with him!" anito bago humarap sa salamin. "Regina! Hindi ka dapat maawa sa kanya, siya ang dahilan kung bakit nasiraan ng ulo si Sandy. Siya ang dapat magdusa hindi ang kalooban mo!" galit na sambit nito sa kanyang repleksyon sa salamin.

Bigla naman itong napa-ayos ng kanyang sarili nang biglang bumukas ang pintuan ng banyo. Nakita niyang pumasok doon ang isang babaeng empleyado, kaya't nagkunwari g naghuhugas na lang ito ng kamay.

Matapos sa kanyang ginagawa ay mabilis bumalik sa kanyang lamesa si Ginger, bago kinuha ang kanyang bag doon. Hindi niya kayang harapin ngayon si Tyron, dahil baka masira ang lahat ng kanyang plano't maibulalas pa niya ang koneksyon nila ni Cassie.
