Chapter 48

Three months later...

G-Angels screamed at the top of their lungs when they saw Jaemin and Jisung being shown on the screen.

Girls' Avenue is having their comeback showcase. Jaemin and Jisung, who are proud and supportive boyfriends, went to see their comeback showcase as G-Angels.

The two waved at the camera which made the crowed cheer louder. Jaemin laughed, waving his kyobong and banner which says 이해진 사랑해 Lee Haejin I love you.

Jisung smiled and waved his kyobong. He was also holding a transparent fan which has Eunji's picture.

It's been three months since Jaemin announced his relationship with Haejin, and so far, the fans are really open about it since they already had a hunch about the two even when their relationship was not yet announced.

As for Jisung, it's been three weeks since they made their relationship public.

The lights dimmed and the show was about to start.

"GA, FIGHTING!" The girls chanted as the stage started to move up. They could clearly hear their fans' loud cheers.

They were in awe upon seeing their pastel blue ocean.

Haejin, who was in the center, smiled when she saw Jaemin. And of course, the fans knew that the reason of her non-fading smile was none other than Na Jaemin.

"Everyone, how are you? Are you having fun?" Haejin asked and the crowd responded a 'Yes!'

"I noticed that you guys are really loud today." Haejin chuckled. "Did you really miss us that much?" She asked.

Another yes from the crowd.

"You keep on asking our G-Angels, unnie. It's you who's smiling from ear to ear even before the show started." Xiurong said which made the fans cheer louder.

"Yah, what are you saying?" Haejin asked, slightly embarrassed.

"Oh, Xiurong-ah, you've noticed it too?" Soeun asked. Then she continued, "Everyone, is Haejin-unnie blooming?" She asked.

The crowd responded a 'yes'.

Jaemin couldn't hide his laugh as he watched Haejin looking embarrassed onstage.

Eunji suddenly made eye contact with him and signaled a "stop" because she might be embarrassed already.

Eunji just smiled as a response, "Yah, guys stop it. Her boyfriend is just there." She pointed at Jaemin. "Jaemin-oppa annyeong!" They waved at him.

Jaemin hid his face using his left hand, the other was still holding his kyobong.

"Oh, Jisung-oppa is here too." Junghee said. "Jisung-oppa annyeong!" The members, except Eunji said.

"Yah, unnie. Now you feel what I feel." Haejin said, the crowd laughed.

"Yah, why are you still here? Shouldn't you be preparing for your solo stages already?" Haejin asked, and the rest of them rushed backstage.

Haejin was the emcee since she was the last one to perform.

Rather than the show, Jaemin would steal glances at her from time to time.

Jisung nudged him, "Yah, hyung why are you being biased? You keep on looking at Haejin." He laughed.

Jaemin raised a brow, "You're the one to talk, Jisung-ah?!" He said. shocked.

Jisung rolled his eyes, "Whatever." The lights dimmed and the spotlight was on the person in the center. "Oh, oh, it's Eunji!!! Hyung, it's Eunji!" Jisung said.

Jaemin looked at him with a disgusted face, "Yah, Jisung-ah, what's wrong with with you?" He said.

Jisung coughed, "Ehem... EUNJI-YAH FIGHTING!!!!" He yelled.

Jaemin nudged him, "Yah, where are your manners? She's still older than you." He joked.

Jisung showed a poker face expression at Jaemin, "Says the one who let Haejin call him informally." He rolled his eyes. "Whatever,  shut up now hyung."

Jaemin looked at Haejin who also happened to be looking at them. She laughed at the two's bickering.

Jaemin just shook his head while laughing. He smiled at Haejin and did a 'fighting' gesture. And of course, although they weren't the center of attraction right now, that scene was already recorded in the cameras and phones of Haejin's fansites.

Who cares? Definitely not the two of them.

In the middle of Junghee's stage, Haejin noticed that Jaemin slowly stood up and left the venue. She raised a brow, I'm not yet even finished with my stage!

Her heart sank, she wanted to cry. But she doesn't want to look sad in front of their fans. She also doesn't want to be attacked by her disease. Especially now that they're having their showcase. It's even broadcasted live.

She sighed and looked at Jaemin's empty seat. She looked at Jisung, but he was too absorbed in watching the show.

Once she noticed that Junghee's stage already ended, she stood up and handed her a microphone. "Yah, you did great!" She said, trying to be jolly as always.

Junghee smiled, "Thank you, unnie." Junghee faced the crowd, "Everyone, Haejin-unnie's stage is up next! Are you guys ready to see it?" She asked and the crowd answered a 'yes'

Haejin bowed and rushed backstage.

She saw Eunji and immediately hugged her.

"Yah, Haejin-ah, what happened? Hey, hey, why are you crying?" Eunji asked.

Haejin wiped her tears, "H-He left... unnie he left..."

Eunji shook her shoulder lightly, "Yah, you can deal with this later. For now, you have to make your fans happy, okay? You can do this, Haejin-ah. Don't think about it right now, okay? Everything will be okay. Now go get changed and I'll distract them." She said.

Haejin nodded.

Haejin couldn't deny it, but what Eunji said was right. She could deal with this later. But she's still wondering the reason why Jaemin left early. He's not like this.

She sighed as their make-up artist started to do her make-up.

"Unnie, do I look like I cried?" She jokingly asked.

Their stylist nodded, "Yes, what happened, Haejin? Did you?" She asked.

Haejin shook her head, "No, unnie. I just yawned. Maybe I just find the lights blinding." She lied.

Of course she wouldn't say that she cried.

"Everyone, are you ready to see Haejin's performance?" Eunji asked and everyone yelled a 'yes'

It was time for Haejin to come onstage. Her heart was beating rapidly. She feels like she's going to faint anytime.

Haejin-ah, you can do this! She mentally cheered herself up. She definitely can do this.

She was waiting for the music's cue. It's been five minutes, and she's still standing.

The music started to play, but it's not "I Got U." Instead, EXO's "My Answer" played.

Her heart started to beat even faster.

A video was played behind her and she's starting to realize what's happening.

The video was a video of her with Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle, Mark, her co-members, and her sunbaes and hoobaes.

Her eyes widened in shock, she still couldn't promise what happened.

It's currently showing pictures of Jaemin and her. She smiled unknowingly.

She looked at the crowd and asked, "Yah, everyone~ Did you know about this?"

The crowd just laughed as a response.

"Haejin-ah..." She looked at the person who called him.

She nearly broke down when she saw Jaemin on the other side of the stage, holding a bouquet of flowers.

Her tears immediately fell.

"Yah, how many times do I have to tell you not to cry? Look, you're crying in front of G-Angels," he said, wiping her tears away which made the crowd yell louder.

"I hate you!" She started. "I thought you already left without even telling me." She sobbed, hugging him.

Jaemin laughed, handing her the flowers. "Why would I do that?" He asked. "Yah, I said stop crying!" He said, which made Haejin laugh.

GA was watching them from the side, happy that their beloved Haejin already found her happiness.

After the song played, a deep silence ensued.

"Haejin-ah, we've been together for 4 years already, and I can't seem to tell why I can't take my eyes off you." He started, holding her hand which made Haejin smile.

The crowd cheered. They already know what will happen next.

"It's funny how we met. Before, Mark-hyung keeps on telling us stories about you. Back then, I was really curious about who you are as a person. I really wanted to meet you. Because according to Mark-hyung's stories, you're a great person. And I guess it's really true. You're indeed an amazing person." He said. The words he said made Haejin's heart flutter.

"Remember when we bumped each other at the coffee shop? When I got back and you didn't recognize me?" He asked. Haejin nodded. "Funny because fate really played with us. You crying because of me almost all the time." He laughed. Haejin nodded because it really was true.

Jaemin knelt in front of her, grabbing a silver box from his jacket.

The crowd were already screaming— the loudest, at this point. And V app was starting to crash. The livestream was flooded with comments. It also gained almost 1 Billion hearts.

"Haejin-ah, let me ask you a question." Jaemin asked.

Haejin already know what's about to happen next. She's about to cry again. "What is it?" She asked.

"Are you willing to spend more years with me?" He asked.

The members were jumping in joy. Finally, after many twists and turns, they're here. Finally.

Jisung stood up and yelled, "Yah, Haejin-ah you better say yes!"

Haejin rolled her eyes at Jisung, "You really knowhow to ruin moments well, Jisung-ah!" She said.

Eunji face palmed, mentally asking herself why did she say yes in the first place.

"Back to Jaemin's question...." Haejin started. "I know fate has been playing with us for a long time now, and imagine how many years we've both suffered because of it. I'm not going to tell it in detail, because I'm sure you already know it..."

Haejin slowly nodded, "Yes... I'm willing to spend more years with you." She smiled.

Jaemin stood up and hugged her. He was crying because of joy.

FINALLY!

He slipped the ring on her ring finger.

The members clapped and entered the stage. "Haejin-unnie, congratulations!" They all hugged her. They were also crying, because they know what they've been through.

"Haejin-ah, I'm so happy for you.." Eunji said.

"Jaemin-oppa, take care of Haejin, okay? This girl loves you very much and you know it." Eunji said.

Jaemin nodded.

"Now, let's see Haejin's awaited solo stage."

And they almost forgot about that.

Jaemin sat beside Jisung.

"Hyung, I'm so happy for you! Finally, you two are about to settle down."

"Thank you, Jisung-ah." Jaemin smiled.

Both of them looked at Haejin who was performing onstage, with. bug smile plastered on her face.

Jaemin turned his kyobong on and waved it, "Haejin-ah, saranghae!!" He yelled.

Haejin heard it and smiled.

Once Haejin's performance was done, the members went on stage and called Jaemin and Jisung to end the showcase with them.

"This has been Girls' Avenue, see you next time!" The girls said.

"HAEJIN-UNNIE CHUKHAHAE!!!"
