1 month later...

"YAH, HAEJIN-AH!" Haejin flinched when she accepted the call.

She was happy upon seeing Jinhyung's picture popping up out of nowhere, but she didn't expect that he would shout the moment she accepts the call.

"What?! Why in the world are you shouting?!" She asked, irritated as she looked at the camera sternly.

"WELL WHY THE HECK WOULDN'T I BE MAD IF TE FIRST THING MARK TEXTS ME IS THAT YOU'RE AT THE HOSPITAL ONCE AGAIN?!"

"Can you not shout?! It's literally night time there and you're screaming?!" Haejin nags, making his brother calm down. "I just had a fever for Pete's sake, oppa." She rolled her eyes.

"That's what you get for working non-stop. I have told you several times already to take a rest!" Jinhyung said.

"Then try to be in my position. I can't just chill, oppa. You know that." Haejin sighed, fixing her things. She placed her phone on her dresser as she started to fix her bag.

"What's that? Do you have schedules for today?" Jinhyung asked.

Haejin shook her head, "Ani. We're still working on our upcoming album." She said, sitting on her bed.

"What are you doing then?" He asked.

"I'm gonna pay our brother a visit. They have been rehearsing since yesterday. I also wanna see how Jaemin is doing." She answered truthfully.

Jinhyung nodded, "Oh, so it's nit just Mark, I see." He smirked. "Jaemin too."

Haejin rolled her eyes, "Oh God, it's still too early. Please spare me."

Jinhyung laughed, "How are you and Jaemin, by the way?"

She looked at the camera and smiled, "We're fine. Going strong, I guess?" She laughed.

"You'll have your anniversary on May, right?" Jinhyung asked.

Haejin nodded, "Yep."

"Hey, by the way.."

Haejin looked at him, waiting for him to cotinue.

"Mark said that there was someone who was crushing on Jaemin? Is that true?" He asked.

Haejin raised a brow and chuckled when she realized who Jinhyung is referring to. "Who? Sohyun?" She laughed. "Not really a crush." She said.

"Then what?" Jinhyung said, his expression changed.

"She already explained that she's really just a friend and that he doesn't even like Jaemin." She said, teasing her brother afterwards. "Why do you seem to be more affected than me?"

"I was just making sure that there's nothing between my ship." Jinhyung laughed.

Haejin rolled her eyes, "Whatever you say." But she must admit, what he said made her heart beat faster. Her own brother is shipping the two of them.

"I have to go now, oppa. Annyeong!!!" She said, waving at the camera.

Jinhyung nodded, "Alright. Tell me if you have problems, okay? Tell Mark I miss him and good luck! I miss you guys so much! See you soon!" He said.

Haejin was about to cry but Jinhyung ended the call. She inhaled and regained her composure. She also misses her brother too.

She stood up and changed her clothes, then went to SM Entertainment.

"Mark!" She called when she saw her brother outside their practice room.

"Oh, Haejin-ah!" He said, waving at Haejin.

"Jinhyung-oppa said he misses you." Haejin laughed.

"What? He called you?" Mark raised a brow.

Haejin nodded. "Oh, by the way, where is Jaemin?" She asked.

"He's at the vocal room." Mark answered.

Haejin nodded and skipped towards the vocal room.

She was about to knock when she heard two awfully familiar voices.

"I've been wanting to tell you this." It was a girl's voice.

She closed her eyes as she breathed deeply, nervous of what she might hear next.

"Hm? What is it?" The boy asked.

And things be damned, it was Jaemin.

She was sweating nervously. She was holding the door knob, but she's contemplating whether to open it or not.

"Call me weird, but I hope you won't judge me... I like you. Since day 1. Ever since I met you..."

She noticed that tears were already falling from her eyes.

She opened the door only to see a Jaemin with a shocked face, seated beside Sohyun.

"J-Jung S-Sohyun...?" She took a step backwards.

Jaemin stood up, trying to approach her.

She gulped. "J-Jaemin..."

Sohyun stood up, "N-No... H-Haejin-ah!" She shouted but Haejin already ran away.

"Crap!" Jaemin ran to chase her.

Haejin's mind was full of questions. Why was she with him? Why were they talking like that?

Sohyun already clarified that she doesn't like Jaemin but what the heck was that?! What the hell, I even trusted her. Heck, she even cried in front of me just to forgive her. I can't even trust someone...

She just ran, tears streaming down her face. She doesn't give a single damn about people throwing looks at her.

Heck, she even told Jinhyung earlier thst they're "going strong." But what the hell happened? Was all of this another lie?

She suddenly bumped into someone.

"Haejin?"

She knows that voice. She immediately hugged the person.

"M-Mark... Mark-oppa..." She cried like there's no tomorrow.

And Mark immediately dragged her outside, but things be damned, she suddenly collapsed.

Mark's eyes widened, No not again... NOT AGAIN, PLEASE!

"Taeyong-hyung! Johnny-hyung! Jaehyun-hyung! Someone, please help me!" He screamed, calling his hyungs' attention.

Jaehyun's eyes widened in shock when he saw Mark kneeling on the ground with a lifeless Haejin in his arms.

"Hyung!" Jaehyun called.

Taeyong went outside their practice room and he was also shocked to see what's happening. He immediately helped Mark carry Haejin.

"Haejin-ah, Haejin-ah..." Jaehyun was slightly tapping Haejin's cheek. They're inside the ambulance. And they all didn't know what happened to her.

"Haejin-ah, stay with us.." Taeyong said, slightly squeezing Haejin's arm.

"H-Haejinnie... my sister... you're scaring me again... w-wake up... Jebal..." Mark said, holding his sister's hand for dear life.

"Haejin-ah, stay with us, arasseo?" Taeyong said, looking at the monitor from time to time. Panic was also evident in his voice.

"Stay with us.."
