"Haejin-unnie, are you alright?" Yui asked her once they arrived at the dorm.

Haejin nodded, "Unexpectedly, yeah I'm fine."

"You did really great earlier, Haejin-ah. I was surprised." Eunji commented.

Haejin laughed, "Thank you... Sohyun was literally standing beside you earlier and she was glaring at you." She said.

"Jinjja?" Eunji sat beside her. "What a wench. What did I do to her bad enough for her to glare at me? Did her parents raised her bad? Why in the world would you glare at someone older than you, someone who was seniority?" She said angrily.

"Yah, unnie, calm down. We understand that you're mad at Sohyun-unnie, okay? And we are, too. Just please calm down. It looks like you will kill her." Junghee said.

Eunji stood up, "Hell yeah, I will! Touch Jaemin-oppa and Haejin and I will freaking murder that girl. I don't care if someone will sue me." She said, furious.

"She can't do that, unnie. She won't do that." Haejin said. She was really touched with their leader's concern. Although she wanted to join Eunji in her madness, she would rather not because first, a bad deed answered by another bad deed will only make things worse. Second, it's wrong to fight people. Lastly, she ain't a bad person.

"Why are you so confident?" Eunji asked.

Haejin sighed, "I believe in Jaemin, unnie. I trust him." She said.

Eunji sat beside her and smiled, "Alright. But you know what I always say, if she'll do something I wouldn't like, I would be the first one to hunt her down, okay? You got us, you've got nothing to be afraid of."

"Thank you, Eunji-unnie." Haejin hugged her.

"GROUP HUUUUG~!!" Junghee shouted as the rest of the members joins the hug.

"Alright, you guys better sleep now because I know that you're just as tired as I am." Eunji ordered.

"Can you and Jaemin come with me later? Oh, and ask Chenle and the other members except Jisung if they want to come too." Haejin said, trapping her phone between her shoulder and her ear as she wipes her hands dry.

"Eh? What? Where are we going?" Mark asked from the other line.

"Won't you buy gifs for your maknae? Gosh," Haejin shook her head even if Mark can't see it.

"Oh right, it's Jisung's birthday in a few days.. hold up, I'll call them."

"Alright."

The line dropped.

It's the last day of January, for the first two days of February, there will be a seminars about the upcoming retreat on the fourth.

Haejin's phone rang.

"So, what did they say?"

"The hyungs went out already. But Jeno, Renjun, Jaemin, Haechan and Chenle will be with us."

"Won't that make Jisung suspect anything?"

"Jisung is home right now. He's with his parents and brother."

"Oh, alright, I see. Be there in a few."

"Okay."

"What's gonna be our plan on his birthday, though?" Haechan asked once they were inside the van.

"His birthday... that would be the second day of retreat, right?" Chenle asked.

"Yeah it is." Renjun answered.

Haejin was lost in her thoughts. A few moments later, she finally had an idea.

"Hey, I have an idea but I don't know if you guys are in." She said.

"What is it?" Jaemin asked.

"What if during break time, some of us would go on the stage and act as if the president is calling Jisung and it's about something he did." She started, then she continued. "Then, some of us are setting up a surprise birthday party for him outside the retreat venue. Call your hyungs, of course." She said.

"What about the president, though?" Mark asked.

"I'll talk to him." She said.

"I'll say, count me in." Jaemin said.

"Me too." Renjun said.

"Count all of us in." Haechan said.

"I'll tell the hyungs." Mark said.

She immediately texted their manager.

could you please tell the president that we will have a surprise birthday party for jisung on his birthday outside the retreat venue? it would be me and nct.

"What are you guys planning to give him?" Haejin asked.

"A new video game." Chenle said.

"Shoes, maybe?" Mark answered.

"I have no idea yet." Jaemin answered. And the other members agreed with him.

Haejin sighed, "Same."

"Don't worry, we'll all find a gift for him. Okay, love?" Jaemin said.

"Okay..." She said.

The rest of the members looked away. They're literally done with Jaemin and Haejin.

"Go on, continue talking." Renjun said.

"You can kiss while we're still looking away." Haechan said, and Mark smacked him in the head.

Jaemin and Haejin chuckled silently and made a sound as if they kissed. The others cringed which made them laugh.

"You thought we kissed? We didn't." Jaemin laughed.

"Good, because I was so ready to kill the hell out of Haejin." Mark laughed.

"Hyung, chill.." Jaemin laughed.

"Oppa, come on. You're no fun." Haejin laughed.

"Yeah, Mark-hyung. Plus, they have been dating for almost four years." Haechan said.

"And?" Mark asked.

"Whatever, Mark-hyung! Why won't you date? Your little sister even got herself a boyfriend." Renjun said and the others laughed.

"Yah, I'm older than you. Don't ask me what to do." Mark rolled his eyes.

"Whatever you say, hyung."
