Chapter 23

"What?! So what you're saying is that the president knows about Jung Sohyun's attitude? Woah, I can't believe it!" Jisung said, taking a sip on his bubble tea.

"Shhh, someone might hear you Jisung-ah!" Haejin shushed him.

"So that's why the president talked to you?" Chenle asked.

Haejin nodded. She took a gulp and sighed, massaging her temples. "Oh God, my head hurts.."

"Hey, take it easy.. relax." Chenle said, rubbing her back. "It'll be fine." He added.

Haejin sighed, "Everything's just... going fast and it's starting to freak me out, oh God.."

Chenle and Jisung just listened to her as she was voicing herself out.

"Everything was just normal. But then, this disease happened, then when I came back, there's this girl who's subtly flirting with my boyfriend— oh God, Chenle, Jisung, I wanna scream so bad." She said, putting her head down.

"Hey, calm down, okay? It will be over soon..." Chenle said.

Haejin sighed, "I really want to confront her. Heck, I really do. But I just don't have the courage. I really wanna talk to her, but what if I would look like a desperate freak?"

"Well, technically, you have the rights to do it because you're Jaemin-hyung's girlfriend, after all." Jisung said, putting his phone down.

"But they don't know." Haejin answered.

"Just don't think about it now.." Chenle said.

Haejin sighed, "You're right.."

Silence ensued as they watched the rain fall outside.

"By the way, Jisung-ah, which group are you in?" Haejin asked.

"Me? Group F. I'm with Eunhyuk-hyung, Donghae-hyung, Sunny-noona, Hyoyeon-noona, Yixing-hyung, Jongdae-hyung, Jaehyun-hyung, Lucas-hyung, Haechan-hyung, Yui, Junghee and Jaesung. Donghae-hyung is our team leader." Jisung answered.

"Who's with Jaemin in his team?" Haejin asked.

Just then, Jisung's phone vibrated. "Wait, it's from Taeyong-hyung."

"He sent the photo of every team in our group chat." Jisung explains.

Jisung scanned the picture and looked for Jaemin's group, which is Group E.

"Oh, Baekhyun-hyung is their leader." Jisung said, surprised.

Haejin laughed, "Appa? Seriously?"

"No kidding! Here." Jisung said, giving his phone to Haejin.

Group E: Super Junior- Kangin, Sungmin, Ryeowook. SNSD- Sooyoung. SHINee- Taemin. F(x)- Amber. EXO- Baekhyun, Kai. Red Velvet- Irene. NCT- Kun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Jaemin. Team Leader: Baekhyun

"Here." Haejin gave Jisung's phone back.

"How are you and Jaemin-hyung?" Jisung asked.

Haejin rolled her eyes, "Don't ask as if you didn't see what happened earlier, Jisung-ah."

Chenle sighed, "You know, she literally just sat beside Mark-hyung and Jaemin-hyung, then she started bugging them."

Haejin raised a brow, "What in the world are you trying to say?"

"Look, Haejin-ah. I'm always on your side. Me and Jisung. But I'll just try and defend hyung this time. He was just playing on his phone when she sat beside him suddenly. Hyung really wanted to get out of there. But he couldn't just leave. You know how he is..." Chenle sighed, then he continued. "If only you let him explain, Haejin-ah. You would understand."

Haejin pulled her hair out of frustration. "Aaaargh! I'm so stupid! What the hell is happening?!" She said, crying hard.

"Hey, calm down please. People might thing that Jisung and I are bullying you. We're not even wearing any disguises." Chenle said, laughing.

Haejin sighed, "You're right."

"You really need to announce your relationship with, hyung." Jisung whispered.

"Not... just now please?" She said, pleading.

"Your choice." Chenle shrugged.

"Love." Jaemin immediately stood up one Haejin, Chenle, and Jisung arrived at the dorm.

Haejin looked at him, but didn't dare to say anything. Chenle pulled Jisung and the other members to the kitchen so that the two could have some privacy.

"Love, I'm sorry.." Jaemin immediately hugged her when she didn't respond. "Please do not be mad..."

Haejin sighed, "I'm not. I was just really shocked and frustrated earlier. I didn't mean to snap at you like that... I'm sorry too..." She hugged him back.

Jaemin sighed, "I didn't let her sit there. I swear, I reserved that seat for you."

"Don't explain. Chenle already told me everything.." Haejin said softly.

Jaemin kissed the crook of Haejin's head, "Alright, please don't be mad like that again, please?"

"I can't promise you anything, though." Haejin said.

"Love~" Jaemin whined.

"Jaemin, you know that I don't make promises I can't keep."

"Alright, fine. I understand.."

Haejin sat on the couch and faced him, "Did you know that the president knows about her attitude?" She said, whispering.

Jaemin's eyes widened, "Jinjja!"

Haejin nodded aggressively while laughing, "I swear! He told me!"

"Then? What did he say?"

"He just asked about us and that's it." Haejin shrugged.

"Alright, go to your room and sleep already. It's late." Jaemin ordered.

Haejin stood up and saluted, "Yes sir." She tiptoed and kissed Jaemin's left cheek, "Good night."

Jaemin stood there, frozen. It took him four seconds to reply a, "Good night.."
