Chapter 21

Mark moved the curtains aside, allowing the sunlight to enter Haejin's room. Haejin flinched and pulled the blanket to cover her eyes.

"Yah, wake up sleepy head!" Mark said, shaking Haejin's shoulder.

Haejin grunted, "Leave me alone it's still early..." she yawned and faced the other way.

Mark sighed, "We have a meeting. Come on, wake up, sleepyhead."

"Fine, fine. Leave me alone." She said.

Mark surrendered, he stood up and left the room.

Haejin stretched her arms and legs. Another day has passed. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the window.

She stood up, took a bath, got changed, and went outside.

"Good morning everyone~" She greeted.

Jaemin looked at her, "Oh, finally you're here. Good morning." He smiled.

"Morning, Haejin-ah." The other members greeted.

"Let's go." Mark said.

"What— we haven't e—"

"We'll eat outside, if that's what you're thinking. The meeting will be at 10." Mark said.

Haejin closed her mouth and nodded as she follows the others outside.

"Did you sleep well?" Jaemin asked once they got seated at the last row of the van.

Haejin nodded, "Yep!!~ What about you?" She asked.

Jaemin smiled, "Yeah, me too."

"Oh come on, you've got to be kidding me! Jeno-yah, could you please swap places with me?!" Renjun said, irritated by the two's early sweet talking.

Jeno shook his head, "Sorry, no can do Injoon. Don't wanna be a thirdwheeler!" He laughed.

Haechan laughed, "You'll be fine, Renjun-ah!"

Renjun rolled his eyes as he puts his earphones back on, looking at the other side.

"Haejin-ah, are your co-members back?" Mark asked.

Haejin shook her head, "No. I'll be alone at Girls' Avenue's corner later." She said.

"Eh? Stay with us. We can't leave you alone there." Chenle said.

Haejin shook her head, "No thanks. That would bring up fans' speculations." She sighed.

"Then just say that Mark told you to stay with us. Hyung id your brother after all." Chenle answered.

"Alright, if it's alright with your hyungs, though?" Haejin asked.

"They're more than okay, Haejin-ah." Jeno answered.

"Okay."

"Yah, we're here. Get off and let's eat!" Mark said, opening the door.

Once they got inside, they went to the second floor to find the perfect spot for them to sit.

They ordered what they wanted and ate fast, since it was already 9:24.

"Will you be okay staying with us?" Jaemin asked.

Haejin nodded, "Of course. I have to sit beside Mark-oppa, though. But, you have to be seated on my left side." Haejin pouted.

Jaemin laughed, "Alright, alright."

They arrived at the building at around 9:50 am. There were already a lot of people inside the hall.

"Wait, I'll just go to Baekhyun-oppa." Haejin says, rushing towards the area where EXO is seated.

"Appa!!~" She singsongs as she skips towards them.

Baekhyun turned his head towards Haejin and laughed when he saw her childish movements, "Oh, Haejin-ah!"

"Hi oppa!" She greeted then smiled.

"Haejinnie!" Sehun approached her, swinging his arm around her shoulder. "Yah, I saw your !t live with Sunny-noona and Doyoung last night." Sehun started.

"Me too!" Kyungsoo agreed.

"How did you react when those questions were asked?" Junmyeon asked.

"I honestly cried after the live." Haejin admitted. Then she continued, "Don't ask why though."

"Mhm, we understand, and we know even if you won't say it." Minseok commented.

Haejin smiled.

"Yah, Sehun-ah, why are you being close to my daughter?" Chanyeol said, removing Sehun's arm around Haejin's shoulder. "You know that you are her bias and yet you are taking advantage of it?!" Chanyeol said, in a joking way.

Haejin laughed, Seriously, Chanyeol-oppa?

Sehun surrendered, "Geez, hyung. She's my sister!! Besides, Jaemin will kill me if I do something!" He said, laughing.

"Good." Chanyeol commented. "Anyways, where are your co-members?" He asked.

"They're still on vacation and couldn't make it." Haejin answered.

"Where will you stay then?" Yixing asked.

"I'll stay with my brother, oppa." She answered truthfully.

"Your brother? Or your boyfriend?" Jongdae teased.

"Yah, oppa why are you like this?" Haejin asked, stomping her foot. "I'll stay with NCT, to make things more specific. Beside Mark-oppa and Jaemin. There, happy now?" She said, chuckling.

"Mic test, mic test..." The president said, causing all of them to stop talking.

"I'll go back now. Bye!" She waved as she rushed back towards NCT's area.

She honestly felt so touched that EXO watched her and Jaemin's guesting on !t live last night. She felt moved.

She suddenly stopped on her tracks when she saw a very unpleasant sight in front of her.

Jung Sohyun was the one who was sitting on the chair Jaemin had reserved for her.

Her eye twitched, she was really furious. She clenched her fists and wanted to beat the hell out of the girl but she gained her composure.

She inhaled and let loose. You can win over her, Haejin-ah. Calm down. You don't fight wenches like her.

She continued walking and Jaemin's eyes widened when he saw her.

"Oppa, where will I sit?" Haejin asked Mark, who also looked surprised upon Haejin's arrival.

Chenle and Jisung, who were seated behind Mark kept their mouths shut. They knew how Haejin despised Sohyun. Jeno was watching the four in silent, waiting for something to happen.

"O-Oh!— u-uhm..." Mark stuttered.

Haejin acted impatiently, "Oppa, you told me you were going to save a seat for me~" She whined.

Sohyun stood up immediately, "Oh, annyeonghaseyo Haejin-sunbaenim! I'm sorry, I just talked to Jaemin here for a while." She said, smiling. "Sorry for the disturbance, goodbye!" She bowed then rushed towards their area.

Jaemin?!

Haejin rolled her eyes once Sohyun left. She sat on the chair in which Sohyun sat on earlier.

"Love—"

"Do NOT talk to me. Do NOT call me love. I am so NOT talking to you!"
