Chapter 17

January

"Yah, Haejin-ah ireona!" Jisung shouted which made Haejin roll off the bed.

"Ouch!" Haejin winced when her head knocked the wooden floor hard. She slowly opened her eyes, reaching for the pillow that fell along with her. "Jisung!! I swear to god, if this swells, I'm gonna kick you!" She said, pressing onto her forehead really hard.

Jisung laughed then he went outside. Haejin slowly stood up, getting her phone and putting it in her pocket. She placed her hand on her forehead as she walked towards the dining room.

"What happened to you?" Mark asked the moment she arrived at the living room.

"You still sleepy? But you slept at exactly 7:30 last night, you even missed your station with Jaemin, so how come?" Haechan asked.

Haejin shook her head, "Ask Jisung why." She rolled her eyes.

Jisung pretended to be shocked, he raised his hands when his hyungs looked at him.

"Jisung, what did you do?" Mark asked calmly.

Jisung pointed himself, "Me? I just woke her up."

Jaemin stood up and approached Haejin, "Let me see, let me see." He said, trying to remove Haejin's hand that was covering her forehead.

She shook her head.

"Please?" Jaemin said. He then again tried to remove Haejin's hand, and when he saw what happened, he let out a sigh. "Jisung-ah, why is it swelling?" He looked at Jisung.

"Mwo?!" Jisung stood up, approaching Haejin. He saw that her forehead did have a bump. "Ah, Mian, Haejin-ah!" He said, worried.

Mark shook his head, "Haejin and Jaemin will have an interview later. Fans can't see this. They might be worried." He said.

"Jisung-ah, what did you do?" Jaemin asks as he hands Haejin an ice bag.

"I literally just shouted 'Haejin-ah, ireona!' and she rolled off the bed then that happened." Jisung explains.

"Is that true?" Jaemin asked.

Haejin nodded.

"Jisung, you know about Haejin's condition, right?" Jeno said, swinging his arm onto Jisung.

Jisung nodded, "Yes, hyung... it won't happen again, I promise."

"Noona, what could be the best hairstyle for her?" Jaemin asked their hairstylist.

They are inside their dressing room, getting their hair and make ups done. They will be with NCT's Doyoung and Girls' Generation's Sunny. They will be the hosts or commentators for !t live (it live).

"Don't worry, Jaemin-ssi, the bump will not be visible, I assure you that." The hairstylist, who was in her mid 40's, gave him a reassuring smile.

Jaemin sighed, "Indeed, Jisung Park." He turned towards the hairstylist and smiled, "Thank you noona!"

He squatted beside Haejin who was seated on the chair and looked at her through the mirror, "I'll just go and talk to Doyoung-hyung for a moment, okay?" He said, planting a quick kiss on Haejin's cheek. "Mmkay," She replied.

"Hello, Haejin-ah!" Sunny sat beside her while she's getting her hair done.

"Oh, hi, Soonkyu-unnie!" she smiled.

"Yah, I saw your station x 0 with Jaemin. It was soooooooo awesome!" She squealed.

Haejin chuckled, "Thank you, unnie. I just watched it while we were on our way here." She said.

"Jinjja? It was released early last night, though?" Sunny said.

"I know, but I slept at 7:30 last night because I was so sleepy and tired." She admitted.

"Oh, I see.." Sunny nodded. Then, she scooted closer and whispered, "You two looked cute together! I wish you would announce your relationship, though." She giggled.

Haejin chuckled, "We're already dropping hints, unnie. We're just letting our fans be the judge."

Sunny nodded, "That's good to hear, then. Oh wait, were the clues you were talking about were the pictures you posted on you instagram account?" She asked.

Haejin nodded, "Ah, yes. You saw it?" She laughed. "I looked ugly though." She continued.

Sunny playfully smacked her shoulder, "You silly girl. You two looked adorable. I almost commented 'my ship' but then I realized that the fans don't know!" She laughed.

Sunny opened her phone and searched for Haejin's instagram account. She clicked the pictures of her and Haejin and she was shocked when she saw about 2 million likes. "Woah, Haejin-ah! Daebak! Daebak!" She said, squealing while showing her phone to Haejin.

"Unnie calm down!" Haejin said, laughing.

"How did your brother reacted wen they found out about you and Jaemin?" Sunny asked.

"Mark-oppa? He was really happy. Because he knew ever since from Day 1 that I liked Jaemin. He was protective, but nonetheless, supportive. As for Jinhyung-oppa, he is really quiet about it, maybe because of the fact that he is in Canada? But he's also supportive and happy." Haejin said, smiling.

"But how did Mark reacted wen you didn't want to let the fans know about you two?" Sunny asked.

"He knows the reason." Haejin simply answered.

Sunny nodded, "Wait, why did this become an interview?" She laughed.

Haejin laughed, "It's fine, unnie. Don't worry."

"According to Taeyong, Mark said that Jaemin was the reason why you auditioned? Is that true?"

Although embarrassed, Haejin nodded, "Y-yes..."

"Jinjja?! Woah, neomu kwiyeopta!!" Really?! Woah, so cute!!

Haejin was watching Sunny fangirl about her and Jaemin in front of her. It suddenly made her remember those days when she was still a fangirl herself, and not yet the one who's being idolized by a lot of people.

"How did it happen, though? Like, how did you know him?" Sunny asked.

"My brother was a trainee around 2012?" Haejin sounded uncertain, but she  continued, "There were times that he would call me via Skype and there was this time when he called me. Two other people was with him. It was Jaemin and Jaehyun-oppa. But of course, I didn't know them back then." Haejin explains, and Sunny was listening intently.

"When the call ended, I immediately messaged him and said that the person on his left, which was Jaemin, was cute and his smile looked adorable. Then he told me his name and asked me why, then I admitted that he was handsome. Mark literally laughed so hard that I ignored him for days. Because he knows that I'm the type of person who crushes on someone." Haejin said, remembering those days.

"So that was the first time you saw Jaemin?" Sunny asked. Haejin nodded, "Woah, and because of that tiny crush, you auditioned and boom!" Sunny stomped her foot hard to create a 'boom' sound effect. Then she continued, "You're here. An idol already. And not just an idol, you're one of the members of Girls' Avenue, the most phenomenal group worldwide. And not just that, you're also Jaemin's girlfriend!" Sunny smiled at her.

"I know, unnie. I still can't believe it, though." Haejin smiled.

"Aww, I'm happy for you, Haejinnie~ And as one of your sunbaes, I'm really proud of you!" Sunny smiled, squeezing Haejin's hand.

"Thank you, unnie!" Haejin smiled.
