Hello everyone! it's rielle, signing in again. Sorry for not updating these past two days. I got sick and I had to go to a doctor for a check up, glad I wasn't admitted to a hospital though.

Now, I'm feeling better but I still feel dizzy. I felt like I need to update that's why I made this chapter. Bare with me if this update will suck just like the others. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Chapter 25

It's 5 am when Mark and Haejin arrived at their old estate. They know that their parents are already awake.

Haejin looked at her watch, 9 pm, Seoul time, December 23.

Mark rang the doorbell.

Haejin was giggling beside her. Their parents have no idea about this.

"It's dawn, who could it be?" They could clearly hear their mom inside.

Mark chuckled and rang the doorbell once again.

"Aish, coming!" Their mom said.

Their mom opened the door. Once she did, the two pounced on her immediately.

"Mom!!!!" / "Eomma!!"

Their mom stared at the two weirdly, "Minhyung? Haejin? Is it really you?!" She asked, surprised.

"Eomma, it's me!!" Haejin squealed.

"Ma, it's your Minhyung-ie." Mark smiled sheepishly.

"It is you guys!!" She said, hugging the two.

"Taeyong-hyung!!!" Mark said as soon as Taeyong accepted the video call.

"Hey Mark! Where's Haejin?" Taeyong asked.

"In her room, want me to call her?" Mark asked, Taeyong nodded.

As soon as Mark stood up, Haejin entered his room.

"Nevermind, she's here." Mark laughed.

"Taeyong-oppa! Hi guys!" She waved in front of the camera.

"Hello, Haejin-ah!" The guys smiled.

"Hi!! We just arrived and it's currently 7 am here." Haejin smiled.

"Really? It's 11 pm here." Haechan said.

"Why are you guys still awake?" Mark asked.

"We just finished practicing. We're at the practice room, see?" Haechan said, showing the background.

"Are all of you there? Or is it just 127?" Mark asked.

Before Haechan could respond, a high pitched laugh was heard. Mark laughed. He knew whose laugh that was.

"MARK-HYUNG!!!!! MARK-HYUNG!!!" Chenle came running towards Haechan, who was holding Taeyong's phone.

"MARK-HYUNG, HI!!!!!" Chenle waved.

Mark laughed, "Chenle!!!!!"

Then, Chenle ran again.

"Why is he running?" Mark asked.

Another member came into his view, "MARK-HYUNG, CHENLE AND JISUNG GOT MY PHONE AND THEY WON'T RETURN IT! DON'T BRING THEM ANYTHING FROM CANADA, THEY'RE REALLY NAUGHTY!" Jaemin said, irritated.

Haejin, who was seated beside Mark, smiled unknowingly.

Haechan gave Taeyong's phone to Jaemin, who was talking to Mark.

Mark laughed, "Kids will be kids, Jaemin-ah."

"I KNOW BUT I WASN'T DOING ANYTHING! I WAS JUST LYING DOWN! I SWEAR, I WAS LITERALLY LYING DOWN WHEN JISUNG GRABBED MY PHONE THAT WAS IN MY POCKET!!" Jaemin said.

"Calm down, will you, Jaemin-ah? It's not like they could open it or anything..." Mark said.

Jaemin's face turned red. He suddenly became uneasy.

"Hyung... she's beside you, right?" He whispered.

Haejin chuckled silently.

"Yes, she's here beside me. She could hear you perfectly. Why, wanna talk to her?" Mark teased.

Haejin glared at him.

"A-Aniyo (No), hyung!!" Jaemin said, stuttering.

"Why are you protecting your phone now? Before, you didn't care even if Jisung plays with it," Mark said.

"U-Uhm..."

"MARK-HYUNG!!!" Jisung came into the view and snatched Taeyong's phone from Jaemin's hand.

"MARK-HYUNG, JAEMIN-HYUNG'S WALLPAPER IS A PICTURE OF HIM AND HAEJIN!! I'M LAUGHING SO HARD!!" Jisung then showed Mark Jaemin's phone. The wallpaper is a picture of Jaemin and Haejin during GA's debut stage. "THEY LOOK SO ADORABLE HERE!" Jisung laughed.

Haejin was blushing madly. She doesn't want to admit it, but it was also her wallpaper.

Mark laughed, "It's also Haejin's wallpaper!"

Haejin kicked Mark off the couch, "Didn't I tell you to shut up, Lee Minhyung??!"

She grabbed Mark's phone and talked to Jisung.

"Yah, Jisung-ah!" Haejin started. Then she continued, "Don't belive him!!"

"Yah, Jisung-ah!! I'm telling the truth! Don't believe her!" Mark said, struggling to get up.

Haejim glared at Mark. She then looked at Jisung, who was at the screen, "Yah, I'm your bestfriend. You should believe me."

Jisung laughed, "I've known Mark-hyung for so many years now. Normally, I'd be on his side!"

"Hah! I told you, Haejin!" Mark said.

"Shut up, Mark!!"

Jisung laughed, "Anyways, do you wanna talk with Jaemin-hyung? He's been looking at me sternly for the past five minutes."

"Not now maybe, Jisung-ah. You guys need to rest. So do we." Haejin smiled.

"Alright, I understand. Do you want to tell him something? I'll tell him." Jisung said.

"Hmmm.. tell him I said hi and that I hope he's fine." Haejin smiled.

Jisung nodded, "Jaemin-hyung, I know you heard that!"

Haejin laughed.

"We need to go now!!" Haejin waved at the camera.

"Oh sure, wait. Here are the members. Say bye to them." Jisung then looked at the members and said, "Hyungs! It's Haejin and she's about to log off. Say bye now!" He said as he shows the members one by one.

"BYE MARK AND HAEJIN!!!" They all said in chorus.

"Bye guys!!" She and Mark waved.

Once the call ended, Haejin looked at Mark sternly.

Mark raised his hands, surrendering. "What did I do?" He chimed. Then he continued, "What I said was true!" He laughed.

Haejin rolled her eyes, "Yes, I know that you were saying the truth.. but why did you have to tell him?! I mean, the girls doesn't even know that it is my wallpaper!" She stomped her foot.

Mark laughed.

Meanwhile at NCT's practice room...

"Taeyong-hyung, here's your phone." Jisung handed him his phone.

"What did you, Mark and Haejin talked about?" Taeyong asked.

Jisung was contemplating whether to tell them what Mark said or not. He chose not to.

"Nothing, hyung. She just told me some things about the sitcom they watched at the plane." Jisung lied.

After all, he's Haejin and Mark's bestfriend. He must keep his words.

After that, he secretly texted Haejin's roaming number.

To: Haejin
I didn't tell them. Your secret's safe with me ;)

"Jisung-ah, what are you waiting for? Let's go!" Johnny called him.

"Coming, hyung!"
