All of my life...

It has been a fight!!!

For equal rights...

Fair housing and interest rates...

For that ever elusive freedom!!!

I even joined the military thinking that I was doing something that would enable me and mine to finally be free...

In America...

We may never really be...

FREE!!!

Free to experience the things other Americans take for granted...

Free to protest peacefully...

Without fear of police intervention...

Without malice and brutality!!!

Without being labeled a militant...

I fight on...

Still to no avail...

My words seen as weapons...

While it is I who is under attack!!!

Freedom of speech is garunteed me by the Constitution...

So I refuse to apologise...

Because you find my words to be offensive...

My freedom should not be a threat to your freedom...

You don't try to understand the fact that I am a man...

My inalienable rights are the same as yours...

Except you don't have to fight for yours!!!

So it matters a DAYAM if you don't understand...

This my fight...

So I will fight for what I see is right...

Unill my dying day...

And beyond my gave...

Should my words be heard...

Fight tha power!!!
