"What am I doing?"

I sighed and looked at the hospital in front of me, as I held my phone to my ear. "I'm just visiting someone," I said.

My fiancé pouted. "You always say you're visiting someone." She muttered.

I chuckled, she's adorable when she gets all pouty and muttery when she's jealous.

"It's a family member, so don't worry about it. One day I'm gonna introduce you to them." I said.

"Ah, okay! Well, I hope you have fun!" She said I can feel her smiling from her cheery tone.

"Yeah, thanks," I muttered. "I'll come over when I'm done, and get some food on the way. Anything you would want?" I asked.

"Hm... Surprise me~."

I chuckled. "Okay, I gotta go now. I'll see you later." I said.

"Alright! Bye!"

"Bye," I said, then hung up. I sighed and put my phone away, then headed inside. I went to the desk to see if I can visit Rei Todoroki, my mom. They said I can and I headed up to her floor. I quickly made it to her room, passing by nurses and employees.

I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

I opened the door and walked in. "Hey, mom." I greeted her, and looked at my mother, sitting by the window, but she turns and looks at me with a small smile.

"Hi, Shoto." She said. "How are you?" She asked.

"Good," I said.

It was then silent.

"How are you?" I asked her.

She smiles. "I'm okay." She said.

I nodded.

"Do you want to sit? You can sit if you want. And, are you thirsty? I have your favorite drink." She said.

"Oh, no I'm fine," I said but sat down on her bed.

She nods. "So, what have you been up to?" She asked. "Anything new going on?"

"Oh hm... Do you remember (Y/N) Yoarashi?" I asked her.

She thinks for a second, then she nods. "Yeah! The little girl you're engaged to. What about her?"

"Oh, well, me and her reunited," I told her.

"Oh?! Really!? That's good! How is she?"

"She's good. Do you want to see a picture?" I asked.

She smiles and nods.

I pulled my phone out and showed her a picture of (Y/N) hugging the All Might plushie I won her.

"Wow! She's grown so much! And, she looks so much like her mom too." She said.

I nodded. "Yeah, and I and her are still engaged, because... We really do want to marry each other when we're older." I said.

"Aw, that's so cute. I'm glad you found someone you really want to be with, and that you actually like her."

"Yeah. I really like (Y/N). She makes me really happy, I'm really comfortable around her to tell her everything, and I love everything about her. Literally, everything. She's not perfect, but it doesn't stop her from being amazing and always amazing me. We always have fun together, and I love being around her. There's so much about her that I want to know, but there's so much I do know... And, I do know, that once we graduate, we're going to get married, and build a future together." I said.

"Aw... That's so sweet, Shoto. I'm really happy for you." She said.

I was about to say more, but then there was a knock at the door.

"Hm? Come in." Mom said.

The door opened and walked in was Natsuo and Fuyumi. My big brother and sister.

"Hey, mom!" They both said and then they looked at me. "Huh? Shoto?" They asked, surprised.

"Hey," I said.

"What are you doing here, Shoto?" Fuyumi asked.

"Just talking to mom," I said.

"About what?" Natsuo asked, curiously.

Mom smiled at the two. "Shoto was telling me about his fiance!"

"H-HUH!? FIANCE!?" They both shouted out of shock.

Mom smiles and nods. "Yes, Shoto is engaged to a girl his age, (Y/N) Yoarashi." She told them.

"W-Wait, I heard that name! Your goldfish is named (Y/N) Jr.!" Fuyumi said.

"Mhm, (Y/N) won me her. That's our child." I said.

"I-I... W-When did you get engaged though!?"

"When I was five," I told them. "But, we only met that one time, then reunited a couple of months back. We're dating, but we're engaged."

"A-And, you're fine with that?" Natsuo asked.

I was about to say something, but my mom cut in. "Shoto told me a lot about her. And, from the way he talks about her, he really likes her and this is his choice." She said. "And, she's so pretty!"

"Let me see!" My siblings said.

I sighed and showed them the same picture I showed Mom.

"She's cute!" They both said.

I nodded and put my phone away. "Yeah, me and her got matching engagement rings and everything," I said. "I think if you met (Y/N), you would love her as much as I do."

"You love her?" Fuyumi asked.

I felt my cheeks heating up.

"W-WOAH! HE'S BLUSHING!" Natsuo shouted.

"...I do love her. But, I never told her that. I'm going to one day, though." I said.

"Wow! Gosh, our baby brother..." Natsuo muttered.

"I'm happy for you Shoto. As long as you're happy, then I'm happy." Mom said.

"Thank you," I said. "Mom, would it be okay if I bring her one day?" I asked her.

Mom happily nods. "Yes! I would love to see her again!" She said.

"Okay, great. She'll be happy to meet you too." I said.

"I want to meet her too!" Natsuo said.

"Aren't you busy with college?" Fuyumi asked.

"Yes uh... I can move some stuff around." He muttered.

"Why don't you bring her to the house sometime? We can have dinner together." Fuyumi suggested.

"I'll think about it," I said and stood up. "Well, I gotta go now. I'm going to go and visit (Y/N), maybe sleepover depending on if I want to go home or not." I muttered.

"Huh? That's where you go when you're not home?" Fuyumi asked.

I nodded. "Yeah. Well, it was good seeing you mom and you too, Natsuo." I said.

Mom smiles and nods. "Of course, come back soon and bring (Y/N) with you."

"I will."

"Bye Shoto!" Natsuo said.

"Bye," I said and then walked out, I let out a sigh as I closed the door behind me. I didn't expect to run into Natsuo and Fuyumi.

I shook my head and left the hospital. "What should I get for (Y/N) to eat?..." I muttered and then decided to get her some ramen noodles. So, I went to a restaurant when I could order some noodles to go, got her beef noodles, and then left.

I headed straight to her apartment, once there I knocked on her front door.

"Coming!" I heard her shout.

"Hurry, I have some ramen for you," I said.

"RAMEN AND SHOTO!?"

I chuckled as she pulled the door open and jumped on me, wrapping her arms around me, I stumbled back but was able to stop before I flipped over the rail. I let out a relieved sigh.

"Sorry..." She pouted.

"It's okay, just be careful. Here." I said and held out a container that had ramen in it.

She takes it and kisses my cheek. "Thank you, Shoto."

"It's nothing," I said, she takes my hand and drags me inside. I closed the door behind me and we sat in her living room. "How was the visit?" She asked as she went to grab some chopsticks.

"Good. I told my family about you. They really want to meet you." I said.

She comes back and joins me on the couch. "Who did you tell?"

"My mom, big sister and brother."

"W-Woah and they want to meet me?" She asked and looked at me.

I nodded. "Yeah, but I don't think I'll have you meet them anytime soon. Maybe the next time I decide to visit my mom, you can tag along." I said.

"Ah, how is she?"

"She's good, well seems good, I don't know," I muttered.

(Y/N) knows that my mom is in a hospital, cause of what happened.

"Oh. And, you said your siblings wanted to see me? Natsuo and Fuyumi, right?"

I nodded again. "Yeah, Fuyumi suggests a dinner. I would prefer not to go. But, if you want to, I can arrange a date when Natuso isn't busy."

"Ah! That'll be so much fun! Whenever you get it organized I'll come!"

I smiled and nodded, I the laid down and laid my head in her comfortable lap.

(Y/N) is my home away from home, and that'll never change.

Her fingers softly combed through my hair as she slurped on her noodles.

"Are you sleeping over? You didn't bring any clothes, though." She said.

"Maybe. I don't think so, I'll just leave a bit late."

"You might as well sleepover, I don't want you leaving late and getting caught into some sort of trouble."

I looked up at her, and smiled softly.

She worries about me.

"Okay, I'll stay the night."

She smiled and said, "Okay, we can finish Avatar then we can watch Legend of Korra."

"Does Zuko get any character development?" I asked, curiously.

"You'll have to see." She smiled and winked.

[1566 words 🥺 I finally got a chapter out, but it's shorter than my regular chapters. Anyway, let me throw in this A/N.]

[So, this chapter wasn't originally going to be my 8th chapter, this chapter was going to be my 11th chapter. In the image below, the chapter that is circled was going to be my 8th chapter.]

[But, it was taking too long. And, I really wanted to get out a regular chapter. I'm probably going to have to go back and renumber all the chapters I already have made. So, yeah 😭✌🏾.]

[Also!! I did have a Halloween chapter, but I deleted it, because it wasn't Halloween anymore!! But, if anyone is curious. Shoto's costume was Zuko from Avatar. And, Shoto made (Y/N) wear a nun costume, because he didn't want any part of her body being revealed.]
