This is my favourite Beatles song of all time and Sir Paul McCartney wrote this song bout John Lennon's son Julian to comfort him when John Lennon and his then wife divorced.

This song is one of Brian May's most beautiful songs ever written. This song was also featured in the soundtrack for the movie Highlander. Brian and Freddie's voices are so beautiful and cool. This song is so fuckin' beautiful Freddie's and Brian's vocals are beautiful as well.

Ah shit here we go, my hearts already breakin' bout this song, this song is so beautiful but so fuckin' sad because its about Billie Joe Armstrong's beloved father Andy Armstrong who passed away when Billie was 10 years old.

The title allegedly comes from what 10-year-old Billie Joe Armstrong told his mother after his father's funeral. He had locked himself in his room and when his mother knocked on the door, he replied, "Wake me up when September ends".

That fuckin' story breaks my heart into pieces 😭💔💔

The song also became symbolic after Hurricane Katrina, where it was dedicated to victims of the disaster, and also regarded as a dedication to the victims of the September 11 attacks that occurred in 2001.
