I get up and walk over to him. I stand face to face with him, close.

I sit down on my bed and let out a sigh.

"What's wrong?" she asks

"Ok. Well you know that Mr.Jackson has been tutoring me." I tell her

"Well...I've been late to his lesson both days." I tell her

I wake up early the next day and wake Tina up. She's surprised that I'm up that early for class. I wanna show Mr.Jackson that I can be on time to his class and he's not affecting me the way that I know he is. I'm falling for him hard but, I don't want him to know that. Two can play that game. We get up, shower, get dressed and head to his class, 10 minutes early. We walk in and he looks at us surprised.

"Good morning girls. I see you're here on time today. Early even." he says as we walk in.
"Yep." I say as I walk by his desk trying not to look at him
"I wanna see you girls after class." he tells us.
"Why, we're not late today." I say back to him still not looking at him
"That's not what I wanna see you about." he says.

I finally look at him and we lock eyes, I feel as if his eyes are staring into my soul. He gives me a slight grin and I quickly look away and walk to my seat.

"What do you think he wants to see us about?" Tina asks me
"I don't know, but I'm tired of playing games with him." I tell her crossing my arms and looking at him.

He sees me crossing my arms and looking at him and gives me a smile. I can't help it but, his smile makes me weak. I look away, trying not to be affected by him but clearly...I am.

Class slowly creeps by and I get more nervous by the minute. What could he wanna talk to us about? The bell rings and the class leaves the room. Nick stops by where we're seated.

"You girls coming?" he asks
"Mr.Jackson said he wants to talk to us after class." Tina says
"Why? You girls were on time today." Nick says
"I know. I don't know Nick." I say
Nick smiles at us.
"Wow...maybe he really is a pervert. Maybe he wants the both of you." Nick says laughing
"Shhh..keep your voice down." I tell him

Tina looks at me shocked.

"Nick knows about you and Mr.Jackson?" she asks me
"Yeah, I told him. You know I tell him everything." I tell her
"Well, let me go get something to eat. Karen, call me and let me know what happens." he tells me
"You're so nosy Nick. I'll call you." I say giggling
Nick walks out the room leaving Tina, Mr.Jackson and I alone. He walks to the back of the class to where we are and pulls up a chair. He sits in front of us.

"What's going on with you two?" he asks
"What do you mean sir?" I reply
"Where's your parents?" he asks
"Dead." I say
"Karen, don't say that. Our dads aren't involved in our life and our mom really could care less." Teens says
" I'm sorry to hear that girls. Tina, what do you like to do. What are you majoring in?" he asks her
"Journalism. I love to write songs and poetry too." Tina says
"Well, it just so happens that my older brother is a song writer. You should meet him." he tells her
"Oh, I would love to Mr.Jackson." she says
"How about you and your sister come by my house tonight. I'll make you girls dinner and you can meet my brother Tina. Karen, you and I can go over some calculus problems too." he tells us
"Yes, that sounds lovely." Tina says to him

I look at Tina and I cross my arms again.

"Is there a problem Miss. Smith?" he asks me
"Well, I'm not so keen on going to our teacher's house. I mean, is that even allowed?" I ask
"Karen!" Tina yells at me
"No, its ok Tina. Yes, its fine. Its not like I'm a monster or anything. If you don't wanna go, I understand." he says
"Karen, please, I'd like to go meet his brother and I want you to come too." she tells me
"Yeah, ok. I'll go for you sis, and only you." I say glaring at Mr.Jackson.
"Good. Here's my address or do you want me to pick you girls up?" he asks
"Yes, please pick us up, we don't have a car." Teens says
"Ok. I'll pick you up in front of the dorm at 6pm. See you then." he says
"Can we go now?" I ask with an attitude with my arms still crossed.
"Yes, you can go now." he says smiling at me.
I can't help it but his smile affects me. I give him a slight grin back and Tina and I walk out

"Funny how he didn't ask me what I'm interested in." I say with an attitude.
"Why are you giving him such a hard time Karen?" Tina asks me as we walk across campus
"Cause, I'm tired of playing his game. He should play mine for a change." I tell her
"Well then, dinner should be very intersting then sis." she tells me giggling
