An action made in anger

is an action doomed to failure.

When I think of this quote, I think of the story of Genghis Khan and his pet hawk.  He took it hunting many times.  One day in drought season, a hawk kept knocking his cup from his hands when he kept trying to fill it from the drip of a dried spring above his head.  It wasn't until he climbed up the ledge and could see there was a poisonous snake there, that he realized the hawk was trying to keep him from getting bitten.  By then it was already too late....
