I sat at my desk waiting for Croft and his partner Collins to return, if what I had heard from another officer is true then I'm going tease Tom so much. You see Tom Croft and his partner Joe Collins are in charge of a potential drug smuggler, and they have him held in a hotel. His mother sent him a meal laced with laxatives and because the 'drug mule' didn't eat the food,Tom and Joe did and now they can't stop going to the bathroom.

As result of this Croft has been sent back here until he is better if the story is true. I turned to the door as Tom and Joe returned and from the looks of things, the story is true. Tom looked very pale,he had taken off his grey suit jacket and his black tie hung loosely around his neck. Joe looked much worse, he looked to be on the verge of passing out. I couldn't contain my glee much longer.

"I know people like to call us Pigs but did you two literally have to be pigs?" I ask the two of them,Joe hurried off to the toilet and Tom just put his middle finger up at me. I laughed at his childish gesture,I watched as Tom put his jacket on the back of his chair and sat down with an overly dramatic sigh
"What's the matter Croftie,got a sore bottom?" I laughed at him.

"Kiss my ass Y/n" Tom said unamused
"You'd like that wouldn't you" I tease,Tom threw a paper ball at me "Really Tommie that's immature"
"Takes one to know one" Tom replied before he closed his eyes and lent back in his chair. I watched him for a few moments, I then turned my attention away from him.

I like Tom,he's handsome,cocky,funny and good at his job. I tease him as much as he teases me. Although Joe has hinted a couple of times that he wants to go out with me,he's a nice guy Joe but I'm more interested in Tom. I do actually have more chance of going out with Joe than I do with Tom.

But the heart wants what the heart wants and that's Tom Croft. I turned my attention to my work as Joe came back into the room
"Are you feeling any better Joe?" I ask as he sat down at his desk
"Not really Y/n,but thanks for asking" Joe said,at that moment the boss called Tom to his office. I watched as he walked past my desk and into the boss's office.

"I don't know what you see in him Y/n" Joe said
"What are you talking about?" I ask,Joe gets up from his desk and walks over to me
"I know why you keep rejecting me,you fancy Croft" Joe said"But I can tell you now Y/n that he is no good for you,Croft will break your heart"
"How can you know that?" I ask"You could be just saying that because you are jealous."

"I'm telling you the truth,I'm better for you" Joe said
"Mind your own business Collins" I say standing up,before Joe could say anything more to me Tom came back into the room and the boss asked to see Joe
"Think about what I said Y/n" Joe said before he walked off
"Dickhead" I said sitting back down
"What are you so angry at?" Tom asks
"Collins needs to mind his own business, and learn to except that he isn't the one like" I say annoyed.

"So you do actually like someone?" Tom asks sitting back at his desk
"I said that out loud didn't I?" I said
"Either that or I can now mind read" Tom said sarcastically
"Yes if you must know I like someone, happy" I say turning my attention back to my work. For some reason Tom didn't seem satisfied with my answer as got up from his desk and came over to me
"This guy you like,who is he?" Tom asks beside my ear.

His deep voice sending shivers down my spine
"What business is it of yours Croft?" I ask him,I stand up again to get away from him. I couldn't handle being that close to him,I should have realized that Tom would follow. And he caught me not to far my desk,he pushed against the wall and put his hands on the wall beside me,trapping me between his body and the wall.

"Now will you tell me?" Tom asked
"Why is this so important to you, answer me that?" I tell him
"Because I like you alright, I really like you Y/n. And I know you don't like me, so I... I need to know you will be take care of" Tom said,I looked into his blue eyes and I could see he wasn't lying. My crush liked me back
"Oh Tom why didn't you ever tell me how you felt?" I ask him
"I always thought you liked Joe" Tom said,I laughed which only confused him.

Before he could ask what I was laughing at,I moved forward a couple of inches and kissed him on the lips. I must have surprised him as he pulled back a second later
"Wait does this mean I'm the one you like?" Tom asked
"Yes Tommie" I tell him
"Good" Tom said and with that he pulled me into his chest and re connected our lips in a heated kiss.

No one's P.O.V

Whilst Joe sat and filled out a report on the 'drug mule' the boss stood up and made his way over to the door,he opened the door looked out and then turned his head to Joe
"Collins didn't you just say you are taking L/n out this evening?" He asked
"Yes sir" Joe said he finished the form and stood up
"Are you sure you aren't lying to me,this wouldn't be the first time" The boss said.

"Its true sir" Joe said"Why do you ask?"
"See for your self" the boss said and stepped out of his office,Joe followed him but stopped dead upon seeing his partner Croft passionately kissing L/n
"What the hell" Joe said loud enough to make Tom and Y/n break a part
"Cool it you two,you're still on the clock" the boss said amused
"Sorry sir" Tom and Y/n said.

"So you lied to me again Collins" The boss said turning to Joe
"I want a new partner" Joe huffed
"Fine with me" Tom said
"Since both parties agree,Collins you will partner Andrews and Croft can partner L/n" The boss said"Just keep your hands to your self at work" the boss then went to inform Andrews of the change
"No promises" Tom said smirking at Joe,he glares at Tom before following after the boss.

"I thought you two where friends?" I ask Tom
"We where but when he began to ask you out,I got pissed off with him" Tom said
"You where just jealous in case I said yes to him" I said
"Be quite L/n" Tom said
"Make me Croftie" I taunt
"Gladly" Tom smirks kissing me for a third time.
