It looks like it is going to be yet another clear night,which is not what I want. I had hoped it would snow ,I of course had cast a weather spell to make it snow but it didn't work properly. I sighed to myself and turned away from the window and headed downstairs to meet up with Severus to go on patrol. Even though Christmas is still over a month away being so close to Scotland,and the temperature being really low I had hoped to see snow. It's one of Severus's favourite things about this time of year.

Meeting with Severus in the entrance hall,we checked the ground floor and dungeons and then headed outside to patrol the grounds. Even though students out of bed don't really go outside,Severus suggesty for us to walk out here,to be alone for a little while.
"What's wrong Y/n?" Severus asked as we walked
"Hmm,why do you think something is wrong?" I asked looking out over the black lake
"We have known eachother since we where children,I think I know when there is something not right with you" Severus said.

"It's nothing really" I said,I didn't notice that Severus had stopped walking until I looked behind me " Why are you back there?' I ask him
"You had something planned, didn't you?" Severus asked
"No I had nothing planned " I said
"Don't lie to me" Severus said,I walked back to where he is stood
"Okay fine,I tired to make it snow for you but I failed miserably" I admitted
"Why would you want to make it snow?" Severus asked looking down at me
"Well I know how much you love to watch the snow falling,so I tried to make it happen...you know to make you happy" I said.

"Oh Y/n when will you learn" Severus said wrapping his arms around me" You make me happy sweetheart,and that's all I need"
"Then why don't you smile more?" I asked
"I have a reputation to uphold,I can't have the students thinking I've gone soft" Severus said
"And that would be a real tragedy " I said sarcastically
"If you don't behave yourself L/n I won't smile for you either " Severus said
"Spoil sport" I said,I let go of him and told ahold of his hand. We then continue our walk by the lake.

As the time went on,the two of us began to head back towards the school. Having caught no students outside but spent time together instead,just before we entered the entrance hall
" There is still time for it to snow you know" Severus said
"I know I just got impatient" I said
"When are you never not impatient Y/n" Seveus says" You always complain that the sorting takes to long and makes you wait longer for the feast"
"What can I say,I love to eat" I said
"I trust that food isn't the only thing you love?" Seveus hinted.

I pretended to think
"Hmm...well I love animals and reading...and hmm I think there is one more thing as well" I said playfully, Severus gave me an unimpressed look "Yes I love you Seveus Snape,not that you need reminding " I said
"No but I love to hear you say it" Severus said pulling me to him and kissing me passionately.
