I hurried back to my home to avoid being caught in the coming rain,I opened the front door just as the rain began to fall. I shut and locked the door and made my way down the hall way to the kitchen. I had just finished putting my shopping away when I heard a noise come from the front room,I slowly made way to the room. As lighting flashed across the sky,I catch sight of a figure sitting on my sofa.

I flick on the light and as the room lights up I see that there is a man sat on the sofa smirking at me
"Long time no see Y/n" the man says
"How do you know my name?" I ask him,the man stands up from his place on the sofa and walks over to where I am stood. He stops in front of me and says
"Do you really not remember?" I look up slightly into the man's green eyes,and realize who it is
"Milo" I ask shocked "is it really you?"

"In the flesh" Milo says smirking again
"You look so..." I began to say,I notice that he no longer has his walking stick with him
"So what, handsome, sexy,dashing" Milo says
"Well yes actually, but then again you always did" I say quietly, I used to work in the home where Milo was with his brother Michael. I always had a crush on Milo but he never paid me any attention.

"Why are you here Milo?" I ask moving further into the room and away from him
"Isn't it obvious Y/n?" Milo asks turning to face me
"No"
"Then use that big brain of yours" Milo says
"I'm not in the mood for games Milo" I say sighing
"Oh why not Y/n" Milo asks doing a twirl"Just take a guess"

"You need help with something" I say
"Really Y/n?" Milo says pouting, he walks over to me just as I sit down on the sofa. Milo crouched down in front of me and rests his head on my knee"You are supposed to say 'Milo you are hear to take me on a date"
"Why would I ask you that,I know you have never liked me" I tell him
"Why would you think that?" Milo asks.

"You made it obvious that you never wanted a date, you told Michael dating is a waste of time" I remind him
"True but that was the old me" Milo says "This new me has different ideas,so date yes or no?"
"Why do you want to go out with me,I mean look at you I'm sure you can have any woman" I say looking down at him.

"That is true,but you saw me before I became perfect. You saw past my illness and treated me like a normal person. I didn't show it at the time but that meant something to me" Milo says sincerely
"So that's why you where such a pain to me" I say,to which Milo grins at
"Plus I need a pet" Milo says standing up
"What do you mean by pet?" I ask
"You'll see Y/n."
