Max Mayfield is one of the main characters of Stranger Things. She's very brave and outspoken, and ever since her debut in season 2, she established and cemented her spot as a fan-favorite.

Max is my favorite not only because she's pretty as fuck, but also because she seems like your average, neighborhood tomboy. She's spunky, smart, and she's always ready to defend her friends. 

Another reason this redhead has my heart is because of her strength. After her stepbrother's death, she began experiencing depression until she was targeted by Vecna. Max almost gave in to her dark thoughts until she realized that she had something to live for. She escaped death and depression, and she continued being a badass.

However, her second run-in with Vecna resulted in her ending up in a coma. I'm glad she's not necessarily dead, but I would've been happier if someone else took her place as Vecna's fourth victim.
