3:Figuring it out
He woke up in our cave. he was weirded out by the fact that we were floating around him. Aunt Mary was helping him concentrate on the fact that he isn't human any more. Well, part human, anymore.
He slowly started to stand up, and aunt Mary was helping him not to fall.
He was asking questions like: "where am I?" And "Why do I feel so dizzy?" And the most common one: "Why are you floating?"
To me, that was just to many questions to answer, so I slowly explained every single detail. I even warned him about pitch and loving full humans.
He didn't quite understand the phrase when I said : "Nothing more than usual. just calm down and we can help you."
----
Aunt Mary told me to help him with his flying techniques.
We went out side and we- well I, started the lesson.
I taught him how to go down and fly up and the slowing and speeding and all those things you need to know.
I guess he finally woke up and realize that he was sorta, free.
He got hungry. great. what was I supposed to do. he asked me if I can come with him to the city. I didn't mind at all.
"just remember, don't become a science project. don't be seen." i repeated to him a million times before we got there.
He stopped in the trees near a street. He found a purple mark on the floor and dug through the leaves. he grabbed a jar that he found, and on top said 'Funds'. it was filled with cash. he took a 10 dollar bill and hid it again.
He shoved it in his back pocket and acted like nothing happened.
"Let's go." he commanded. I just shrugged and tagged along.
We crossed the street and opened the door into the corner store. I've been here before, but I never bought anything.
We went through isle and he still couldn't figure out what he wanted.
"Hmmmm. should I get the lasagna or the chicken sandwich with the Potato salad on the side?"
I sighed and I was desperate to get out of here.
He chose a salad that looked good. it had spinach with berries and nuts on top, and a sauce he told me. it was called "Berry Balsamic Vinegar salad dressing."
We finally got out of the store and headed back to the cave. finally. some fresh air.
He sat on the edge eating his salad while I just stared off into space.
"You don't talk to much don't you." I questioned him.
"Hmmmm" he quietly said while chewing his food. he swallowed his food and answered with a "Maybe" .
we both giggled.
He's cool. and cute. and Funny.
